The English Country Barn offers several flexible space choices to make the wedding of your dreams come to life! A huge covered chapel seating up to 200 guests giving you even more choice for your ceremony. In addition we have a stunning outdoor fireplace, a beautiful fountain and hand crafted outdoor bar all on our adjacent patio, the perfect spot for cocktail hour. We also boast 3 houses onsite available for wedding party or out of town guests.

Malachi Meadows is a beautiful new venue in the Coastal Carolina area, just fifteen minutes from downtown Wilmington. Malachi Meadows offers a stunning indoor event space with a touch of country and a ton of elegance. Home to the most stunning double staircase for a grand entrance or introduction. The outside garden area is surrounded by lush greenery with a large brick fireplace and patio. New to the venue, is a beautiful pavilion with chandelier and plenty of lighting. Our venue is located in rural North Carolina is the newest and largest in the area. We offer space for approximately 450 guests for expos and conferences, about 300 guests for weddings and formal events, and for outdoor events and concerts we can accommodate over 600 guests. We have a variety of locations on the property available for your special events, in addition to the Barn. Our patios, views, and outdoor pavilion, in an idyllic setting – just outside the city limits, are the perfect backdrop for your wedding or special event. The Barn at Rock Creek offers an authentic farm setting and attention to detail. Our venue was created with a bride and groom in mind who love the simple things in life. The property provides a rustic, yet elegant backdrop for any kind of celebration. The land that The Barn at Rock Creek is situated on was once the Dixie Evans farm owned and operated by the Henry family. It came to belong to the Ward family circa 1970 when Robert G. Ward, father of Mary Ward Padgett, bought the land and continued the tradition of farming soybeans and corn until 2012.

In the year of 1762, Mr. Newberry and Mr. Thames purchased the land from Mr. Gray. In the deed, there was mention of a sawmill and grist mill on the place, but no mention of a house. In 1833 Mr. Byrne purchased the land from Mr. Newberry. At this time the house and store were on the land. Later on Mr. Byrne sold the land, and it change hands several times..." The house served as a mill home, store, and the Gray's Creek post office for many years.
