“My wedding wouldn't be the same without Ashley Ellis! For some background, I booked my wedding at Boondocks Barn & Lodge in Knightstown IN and it was HORRIBLE! The venue staff was so rude, there were flies EVERYWHERE on the grounds swarming us during our ceremony, and the day of coordinators skipped over special parts of my day such as my bouquet toss. When I think back on what my favorite part of my wedding day was... it was the times with my photographer. Ashley checked in with me throughout the day, and had an emergency kit on hand for anything I needed that I forgot to pack. My venue staff was stressing me out, but when I was alone with Ashley she would remind me that today was all about me and to smile and have fun, and it showed in my photos! During our private couples photos, it was so nice to escape the chaos of everything else and just be with my partner as my photographer captured moment of our love. The hour of private couples photos was honestly the BEST PART of our entire day! Not only did my photographer have to endure the abuse of my venue staff, but when we were running behind and would miss the time to capture photos of our sparklers, she stayed extra to make sure we captured all our special moments. “Lacie captured moments that took my breath away. Her style and skill is every bride’s dream. She delivers everything you adore from those Pinterest and Instagram wedding photos. So there is no question she can deliver what she is looking for. And we are beyond thrilled with all of our photos. The sneak peeks are also so much fun (she sends a batch of photos shortly after she shoots you). But where Lacie shines and what I have to tell you about is everything else. She truly went above and beyond. She’s not just a photographer, she’ll be one of your favorite people on your special day. Yes, Lacie is kind and friendly and comforting and just the kind of person you need on your wedding day (and who you wished you roomed with in college). But she is so much more. Here are just some of the few meaningful things Lacie did that I noticed that I’ll forever carry with me. Firstly, I had a very important rosary I wanted to photograph, and with the chaos, I had forgotten. It would have broken my heart if I left it behind. Lacie remembered. I got fixated on an insignificant hiccup on my wedding day that could have ruined my day. Lacie redirected my attention to the things that really mattered and brightened up my mood immediately. Leading up to the wedding, Lacie advocated for me and my husband ensuring us she was fully dedicated to only us on the day, literally saying “You and Sean are my priority.” Nobody and nothing would take her attention away from us. She was always quick to respond to texts, I could go to her for quick wedding advice, and she’s genuinely so passionate about her craft. Lacie could really be a wedding planner with how much she knows. Other vendors loved working with her, especially our videographers. She was so quick, efficient, and took initiative. She gave them space and skillfully took turns capturing moments with them. With a big wedding party and spacious venue, we kept losing track of people for pictures, Lacie corralled them masterfully. She’s not afraid to get people to focus and get the photos done, but also in the most polite and respectful way. I watched videos of brides saying I wish this or that moment was captured. Sometimes I’d forget whether I had those moments captured myself. Then I go to Lacie’s photos and every single thing that brides mentioned got missed by their photographer she captured for me. Her vibe! She’s so positive and cheery. I was so nervous and also worried about how dark my church was. She got me excited about it after turning it into a positive saying it would look like the theater and she could absolutely work with it. I texted her a shoot list the night before our wedding. She carried that around and took it so seriously making sure she captured everything I listed. I made a Pinterest board of photos I liked and she remembered ones I forgot I included in there. She was my favorite vendor (tied with my incredible florist @dazyflorals) and the vendor I had no worries about it. I didn’t have to check in with her. I could trust her with my eyes closed. She’d be where she needed to be on time, professional, and prepared. I’m going to miss her. Sign her and soak up her sunshine for me, will ya?”

“I cannot recommend Jenna Renee enough for her services. She did both our engagement photos and wedding photos. She is so professional and easy to work with! Just to give an example of her flexibility, we were scheduled to get our photos done in June 2022. The date we chose suddenly had a storm forecasted for the afternoon. Jenna and I mutually agreed to cancel in the morning due to the rain. In the afternoon, the weather started clearing up and It stopped raining. She lived over an hour and a half away, but I texted her and asked if we could possibly uncancel and proceed with the photos. She immediately texted me back and said she could be on the road in 20 minutes. I was so beyond grateful!!!! We got the most beautiful photos that day and It started to sprinkle as we were getting into our cars after all photos were done. In addition, one of the best things about Jenna is that she is extremely efficient and has SO many ideas for poses. Both my husband and I aren’t fans of getting pictures taken but she is just so personable and down to business that she made it extremely easy from the engagement pictures to the actual wedding. She was completely down to try out different things (like going to a waterfall and taking pictures in and behind it or the fact we had a short lightsaber battle on the dance floor) and captured them beautifully.
