He is able to command the room with his charismatic and charming personality, and keep the party going (which from experience I can say not every DJ can do). He played all of the songs we wanted, and none of the songs we didn't want. He included songs he knew we would like based on our other choices and they fit in perfectly. We've been to a lot of weddings over the last few years, and no one other DJ has ever come CLOSE to being as amazing as Darian. We also loved his style of mixing songs together and not letting one go on too long, letting people get bored. He crushed and timed all of our ceremony songs, entrance songs, and first dance songs perfectly. He also gave us expert advice and tips in the planning process and we would have made some dumb decisions if it weren't for his guidance! David was charming and responsive the entire process of booking and paying. And on the day of, the dance floor was absolutely a party, he did a great job taking certain requests and mixing the songs together while also keeping it pumped up but family friendly! He also went above and beyond to help the timeline be on track during the reception, going out of his way to help call tables and pull a game together of his own making, which got the crowd involved and was so much fun. “We liked Edward Zaruba a lot initially because when we talked, he was concise and seemed fun as opposed to some of the other DJs we spoke to. Picking a DJ was hard because unlike a photographer where you can look through their work, you generally go off of price and vibes because you can’t sit through an entire set as your wedding set list is based off yourself. Edward didn’t talk too much and to be transparent, we didn’t want a DJ that would talk more than they played music, so that paired with his price point made him a good fit for us. We had a good experience with him on our wedding day. His system for the outside was simple but worked the way we needed it to. He hid everything behind some of the greenery so that none of the guests could see it and it would not be in view for the pictures. Even though the weather was windy that day, the microphones picked up well on the all of the sound. He set the groom and officiant up with wireless microphones that were nicely hidden. His speaker was loud and clear for everyone to hear. His system for the inside was also great for the space and the included dance lighting added a nice vibe for the night and turned out nice in our photos. Our only (half) complaint was we gave him a must, MUST playlist (about 6 songs), and only a few of them played. We think this can be attributed more so to lack of time to play all the songs we love and of course know even if we could have spent an additional hour dancing, there probably would have been songs we missed. Outside of that, he picked phenomenal music, and he knew how to transition from one song to the next to keep everyone on the dance floor and having fun. We appreciated his ability to introduce our party and us. He spoke the perfect amount and did great with the nights transitions.”

He was super understanding of our music indecisiveness and some last minute adjustments. Day of, he made sure he knew how to pronounce everyone's names and gave all the speakers a heads up so they weren't surprised when it was time for them to speak. He also took our Spotify playlist for the pre-ceremony/cocktail hour/dinner and broke it up and expanded it to fit the vibe for each of those. Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. A week later, he was invited to co-DJ at one of his friends’ wedding reception and rest is the history.
