Open Gates is nestled back in a quiet part of town off of historical Vernon Square just one block from the waterfront where the docks are lined with shrimp boats. The Inn is surrounded by centuries-old live oaks and picturesque magnolia trees. The grounds offer a delightful respite from every day worries. The swing on the front porch is a great spot to enjoy the quiet of nature and listen to the memorial fountain in Vernon Square.

The Alley is a beautifully remodeled space in the heart of the historic downtown Fernandina Beach featuring original brick, a full span of rooftop skylights, an open air concept with a lush indoor garden, and handmade live-edge wood tables. Guests can enjoy a private bar stocked with house-brewed beers and seltzers, craft cocktails, and wine as well as custom menu selections tailored to fit your event. We welcome events of all types, including wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, birthdays, reunions, baby showers, and more.
