Hi there, my name is Caleb but most people call me Cook. I spent almost 13 years in the southeast filming weddings, events, corporate gigs and commercials. I moved to California in 2012 and pursued a different career. A couple years ago I decided to get back into event videography and started Cook Captures. When shooting events I have a very hands off candid style. I love to capture people naturally having fun, enjoying the day and creating memories. Every event I film is unique and each film ends up with it’s own story and narrative that fit the couple, venue, guests and overall vibe of your wedding.

We are over the moon with the work of Cook Captures! Caleb has a remarkable talent for capturing the essence of our special day. The attention to detail in every frame was beautiful and the video we received a was nothing short of magical. Our wedding day was a whirlwind of emotions (and windchill), and Caleb managed to encapsulate those precious moments, creating a visual story that tells the story of our love. The turnaround time for our video was impressive, and the presentation was beyond our wildest dreams. Each moment was thoughtfully edited, and the music selection perfectly complemented the spirit of the day. Caleb turned our wedding day into a cinematic experience we will cherish forever. We cannot express enough gratitude to Caleb for his dedication to preserving the magic of our special day. If you are seeking a videographer who goes above and beyond, Caleb is the one! We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented, professional, and personable videographer. Thank you, Caleb and Cook Captures, for your exceptional work! Highly recommend!

Wedding videography is my side hustle. I love capturing peoples days and making them a product that they will have for years to come. I work in the entertainment industry full time and freelance video edit on the side. I also do photography as well. I do photography, videography and content creation.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we were initially planning our wedding I didn’t think getting a videographer was necessary. However, my now husband convinced we needed one. And as much it pains me to admit he was right about anything I’m so glad we got a videographer and not just any videographer but Kristiann. I really didn’t know what to expect but I can say that without equivocation she exceeded all expectations. She was communicative and always responded to questions immediately. When our first wedding had to be canceled 3 days before our original wedding date Kristiann was so kind and accommodating. When it came to our day finally arriving she was there early, professional and so friendly. She made us all feel comfortable and was not intrusive at all. After getting back our video not only was it beautifully made but it was so wonderful to see the moments she captured and the things we missed. Not only that but so many of our guests commented on how nice and wonderful she was. Without a doubt I would rebook and recommend Kristiann in a heartbeat.

Motel Cinema

5.0

  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Thousand Palms, CA

Fueled by nostalgic recalling we aim to create a film that is timeless and authentic. Motel Cinema is based out of San Diego, Ca and our approach to weddings is inspired by the untraditional travelers before us, who hit the road in search of adventure into the unknown. We don't like boxes and we don't want wedding films that fit into one. If that tickles your fancy let's get weird.

Awarded Best of Zola
One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was to hire Motel Cinema! As an entertainment marketer, specifically for documentaries, how our wedding would be documented was top of mind for me and I met with quite a few videographers. Brandon completely exceeded my expectations with the moments he caught on film, the editing, the music, the vibe. I really felt like he saw us and reflected it all back to us in the most special way which we will cherish for the rest of our lives. He was an absolute joy to work with through the entire process- easy to communicate with and quick, but also a relaxed energy that fit seamlessly into our wedding weekend. I cannot recommend Motel Cinema enough and I’m so so grateful that we were connected.

My name is Ben. I am a LA-based Wedding Filmmaker who runs on emotion-driven films that tell the story of you as a couple. The wedding day for sure! - But lets be honest, the wedding day is only whatit is because of who you are together before and after the day is done. Let's get some of that. That's the stuff that lasts longer than a few years after your wedding. The stuff your kids will pull out and watch.

Awarded Best of Zola
Ben's work speaks for itself. He captures beautiful stories and presents them in a way you never thought possible. You'll laugh, you'll cry and you'll find yourself saying things like "Dang, we look so good!" - because you'll feel like movie stars. And while you'll feel like Hollywood royalty, you won't have to worry about the paparazzi cramping your style - Ben's subtle and intuitive work flow captures all the important moments without ruining the vibe. He's easy to get along with, he knows what he's doing, and his films allow you to revisit your special day as often as you'd like. TL;DR Felt like movie stars, everything looked amazing, book Ben: A fun, creative & artistic professional.

We are The Shalom Imaginative, wedding videographers in Los Angeles with a candid, documentary style. Our videos are never cheesy or boring and capture the true essence of your day. We want you to always remember how your celebration felt.

The Shalom Imaginative are EXCELLENT photographers for any event or occasion! From the start, Nate and his team made my fiancé and I feel we were in good hands for our wedding day. They are friendly, professional and answered all our questions quickly throughout the process. Our photographer for the day was Igor. He was fun to have around and also delivered amazing photos in a big way! We were so happy with how our photos turned out that we bought two photo albums afterwards (one for us and one to gift to my mother in law). We are so happy we went with the Shalom Imaginative for our big day and highly recommend them to anyone in need of photographers!

A team of cinematic storytellers || We care about creating cinematic wedding films that are authentic, timeless, and sincere. Our approach to filmmaking is minimal; we don't want your wedding to feel like an overproduced photoshoot. That's where our roots in documentary filmmaking come in. We have served some of the biggest brands in the world like Frito-Lay, Penguin Publishing, and Marmot Outdoor Gear. We bring that same passion for storytelling to weddings and elopements. Headquartered in Portland, Oregon we serve the entire West Coast. Our cinematographers are based across multiple states. Check out our website to see more films

Daniel went above and beyond with our wedding video. Any time we watch it, immediately our emotions of the day come back to us. He did a wonderful job of capturing our day exactly how it was, as well as making it even more magical and dreamy than we remember! Working with him was a delight, the whole day he encouraged and lifted us up. We were SO comfortable spending our day with him by our side! If you’re on the fence with booking Daniel: DO IT! You won’t regret it.

Alanna Morgan Videography

5.0

  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Thousand Palms, CA for additional fees

I aim to provide a unique, meaningful experience filled with adventure, laughter, and a whole lot of love. My main goal is to ensure that not only do you receive a kick-ass gallery or video that brings back all the feelings from your day, but that you have an INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE throughout the entire journey! Your wedding day should be fun, STRESS-FREE and memorable. Simple as that. And I will do everything I can throughout the entire process to make sure it is nothing less.

Alanna Morgan is truly the most chill and supportive professional I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I will refer all of my adventurous eloping friends to her service. She was so much fun to work with and really set the mood for our special day. Alanna made me feel comfortable in my skin and helped my honey and I lean into the experience while she captured footage. Without Alanna, I don’t think our love story would have been represented as purely. She captured the smallest moments that represent our very big love for one another. We can’t thank her enough for sharing her talents with us. Additionally, she’s so professional and easy to work with. Our photos and video edits were provided to us in a very timely manner, and Alanna was just overall an absolute peach to have around on such a special day that we will forever get to look back on and cherish thanks to her beautiful work.

Mawaddah Productions

  • Serves Thousand Palms, CA for additional fees

Mawaddah Productions a women-owned videography company who has been dedicated to artistic and authentic storytelling worldwide for years. Specializing in wedding cinematography, Mawaddah Productions delicately crafts documentary heirloom films for romantics.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are not joking when we say that we hired Saja from Mawaddah productions at 8:30 am on our wedding day after realizing that we almost made one of the biggest mistakes by not having a videographer. And this was definitely the BEST decision we made. We were amazed that Saja not only managed to travel two hours from Boston to Alstead New Hampshire with a last minute notice for the job, but also exceeded our expectations by capturing all these priceless and unforgettable moments with little to no preparation other than a timeline flyer a few hours beforehand. The cinematography is insane: she films so beautifully and candidly, and her attention to details is unparalleled. Through her art and vision, she was able to translate this day which needless to say, went by overwhelmingly fast, into such a beautiful beautiful endless everlasting memory that we can now forever replay. We ABSOLUTELY ADOREDDDD the teaser, the short wedding film and the feature film. We shared it with our entire families and friends and they are completely in love. The short wedding film is on constant repeat. We could not thank her and recommend her enough for her incredible work and talent.

Retro Films

5.0

  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Thousand Palms, CA for additional fees

(Formerly Cultura Productions) My name is Anthony Trujillo the owner and principal videographer of Retro Films. I started my company because I wanted to capture one of the most special moments in a person's life, their wedding day. I personally will be involved in filming and editing each and every wedding film that my company creates.

Anthony is the best wedding videographer I've ever worked with! He's so knowledgeable and very professional. Living in Arizona as a lesbian couple and finding a wedding videographer was hard but once we found Retro Films it was a dream come true. My fiancé (and now wife!) were also worried about budget and spending so much on a wedding video. But he offered us a payment plan and it really made the process so much easier. Honestly working with Retro Films was worth all the time and dollars spent. On the day of our wedding Anthony was so professional and really captured everything that we were looking for and more. The video came out amazing and we find ourselves watching and rewatching it. He was really able to capture our love and joy and we're so happy with how the whole process went.

Stamper Films LLC

5.0

  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Thousand Palms, CA for additional fees

Stamper Films has been capturing and editing videos since 2014. Our goal is to tell the story of your wedding in a thoughtful, creative, and genuine way so that you and your guests can remember and relive this special day for years to come.

My husband and I were going back and forth on whether we wanted videography at our wedding, and I am so so glad we decided to go with stamper films! Firstly, they were affordable and fit in our budget. Even better, their style is documentary-like filming which we love! Looking at our videos now, it feels like an authentic, real, romantic view was captured. Yan Li was super easy to work with & everything went seamlessly. We felt very comfortable with him & his assistant, and they were so respectful of our photographer as well. Our wedding video makes me cry just thinking about it. Then I turn it on & I really start to cry— our vows overlayed on top of the footage, the scenery & details that were captured, & especially the emotion Stamper Films got on camera. 10/10 and if I ever needed videography again I would go to Stamper Films.
