I want the photos of my wedding that I don’t have –; that capture the moments of affection between our family members; that remind us of the little details and big feelings of that day. I want the photos of my father-in-law walking my wife down the aisle, six months before he unexpectedly passed away. Those photos don’t exist. Instead, I have a handful of blurry, poorly edited images, the half-hearted efforts of an amateur photographer who didn’t yet know what he was doing with a camera. At that time I didn’t know the value of a professional wedding photographer, so I didn’t make the investment and it’s one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made.

My favorite part about what I do is working with all of the great couples I get to meet. I love getting to know my clients and discovering what is most important to them about their wedding day. Each and every wedding is different and each deserves a unique approach to capture thoughtfully. It is exciting that I get to see into so many different little worlds every day.
