I want the photos of my wedding that I don’t have –; that capture the moments of affection between our family members; that remind us of the little details and big feelings of that day. I want the photos of my father-in-law walking my wife down the aisle, six months before he unexpectedly passed away. Those photos don’t exist. Instead, I have a handful of blurry, poorly edited images, the half-hearted efforts of an amateur photographer who didn’t yet know what he was doing with a camera. At that time I didn’t know the value of a professional wedding photographer, so I didn’t make the investment and it’s one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made.

Adam is an absolute delight to work with! We used him for our engagement and wedding photos and not only did he have us laughing the entire time, but all of the photos came out better than I could ever imagine. Adam has the perfect eye for lighting and framing. 100/10 would recommend

My favorite part about what I do is working with all of the great couples I get to meet. I love getting to know my clients and discovering what is most important to them about their wedding day. Each and every wedding is different and each deserves a unique approach to capture thoughtfully. It is exciting that I get to see into so many different little worlds every day. My motto is to do everything in love, and I feel like that is reflected in my work and attention to detail. Also, its great getting to be around happy people all day!

On your wedding day things go by so quickly and it can be difficult to think back on specific moments or individual details. So, I can't overstress the importance of getting great photos that capture things as they were, rather than just an exciting blur of color and familiar happy faces that your memory will likely be left with. Keeping that in mind, the photographer you choose and trust with such an integral part of your wedding day has to be someone you have full confidence in and, wholeheartedly, I can say that Kiernan meets and exceeds all the expectations of what makes an incredible wedding photographer. She was able to make my (now) husband and I feel relaxed, while also offering VERY helpful and necessary directions of how to pose (down to the way to tilt our head, where to look, where our hands should be, etc) and that was so appreciated! It made me feel so much more confident to know that if something needed to be changed or corrected in order to get the best photo possible, she would notice it and then she’d let us know what we need to do to get that shot. Then, after the wedding, when my husband and I received our sneak peek photos, (which were sent so quickly that we got them while we were still in our post-wedding hotel suite) and we were blown away by how beautiful they turned out. There were so many amazing shots that I loved, I couldn’t pick a favorite... I had at least 10-15 top favorites. To wrap it up, Kiernan is an insanely talented photographer, a true professional and just an overall sweet, lovely person. If you are getting married soon and are looking for a photographer that will be able to deliver photos you will cherish forever AND who will make you feel comfortable and confident while the photos are being taken... I highly recommend Kiernan Michelle Photography, as I sincerely believe she is the best you will find... I know she was for me!

There’s a million and one positive things I can say about Lauren. For starters, she helped soooo much with both my engagement photos and my wedding photos. I was adamant that I wanted to take photos in an elevator / bar for my engagement photos and she made sure I got everything I wanted. She is so sweet and so helpful. Not only did she make the wedding timeline and stick to it; she also helped me get in and out of my dress, fixed my heals and made sure I ate throughout the day, and stayed hydrated. She even made sure that the wait staff at our venue brought me and my husband our own plate of appetizers. Her and Sierra were amazing. All of my guests ranted and raved about how helpful and fun they were. The photos she took at both our wedding and engagement shoot were 10/10 PERFECT!! I have found my forever photographer in Lauren and will continue to refer her to family and friends.

My husband and I couldn't have been more thrilled with our experience with Brittney! From the moment I met her, I immediately knew I wanted her to be our photographer. At a wedding showcase with 30 other photographers, she was the only one I felt comfortable with. She felt like a friend from the start. Before the wedding, Brittney was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, keeping us informed and helping us plan all the perfect shots and details. She knew what to ask and was so patient with us throughout the entire planning process. One of the standout moments from the wedding was when our 1-year-old daughter, who was the flower girl, had a full-on meltdown. When starting to plan our destination wedding, we found Wedgewood and thought it sounded too good to be true. We quickly learned it was actually everything they were advertising plus more and more pleasant surprises along the way. Us and all of our guests were coming to the Malibu area from WI and IL, and opted for November 16, 2024 for our date for our 100 person wedding. We did everything from home except attending the extravaganza event to try food and meet vendors. When Wedgewood says everything is customizable, they really mean it with no hidden costs. I am a vegan and they were able to make many of our buffet items vegan, seriously accommodated allergies and all of our requests. We worked with Mackenzie during our planning process and Lexi was our day of coordinator for the rehearsal and big day. They were both beyond kind and knowledgeable, and very excited for us. Everything was SO organized. Diego was our DJ from DJ Pablo's company and followed our music requests to a T. John and Carla were our bartenders and were so fast, fun and made amazing craft drinks. The servers the day of were so attentive to us, making sure we always had everything we needed. Immediately after the ceremony they had our favorite drinks waiting for us inside and continued to check in on us all night, I never had to go to the bar myself! At dinner they made our plates and provided a huge plate of our appetizers for us. They also packed to go boxes of our food for us at the end of the night and a bottle of champagne, such a big surprise! We were beyond pleased with the food, it was even better than we expected as far as quality. The buffet style appetizers were amazing too. Sweet Pea floral beyond exceeded expectations, following my Pinterest board perfectly. There were a lot of things we didn't want, like cake, and they never pushed anything we didn't want! They put together our tablescapes perfectly, no detail was left out. The only and I mean only complaint was that the lights at the front of the venue didnt turn off, so it was quite bright during dancing, but our guests didn't seem to notice. They said they had no way of turning them off. The day of our rehearsal holds one of our most special memories of our lives, as our wedding party and family were arriving, they guided everyone to the golf bar and grill while we were answering some questions. As soon as we were done, we were shocked and so delighted to see all of our most special people in our lives waiting for us in the golf bar clapping and waiting for us. It was so magical and the love and hugs to follow started off our wedding weekend perfectly. Thank you Sterling Hills!

i grew up in europe and from the age of 10 used analogue film cameras. i eventually became a fashion/people photographer in milan, austria, new york city and LA. the nostalgia of polaroids inspired me to make weddings films in a more abstract and ephemeral way, like dreams. my films aim to provide a glimpse of what it felt like on your day, conveying an unmistakable essence about you and the experience.

Working with Michael from start to finish was absolutely lovely! He is a true artist. He genuinely got to know us and our story beforehand, and by the time we finally met - he felt like an old friend. From the moment they arrived, he and his assistant were ninjas, getting everything from drone shots (!?) to go-pro footage of the groomsmen in the pool. He never hesitated to throw out amazing ideas and things we could capture. Once we finally had the video - we were ecstatic. It blew our minds! It basically should go to Sundance. But really... wow, we wept looking at the most joyous day of our life be reflected to us in such a cinematic and intimate way. This was not your regular wedding video. It was spectacular! We had a chance to show some of our closest friends right away, and of course, everyone was in love with it, and the consensus was, "This is LITERALLY A FILM!" "This filmmaker is incredible," lots of tears, laughs, smiles etc etc :) We absolutely agree. I can't express enough how awesome Michael is; we LOVE his work! Thank you, thank you, thank you. We are so grateful to have had him as part of our day! To sum it up, he is an absolute pleasure to work with; he has an incredible eye and is professional, collaborative, and kind.

Such a beautiful venue, I can’t express how clean and aesthetically pleasing it is, you have to come see it for yourself. I fell in love when we first saw it and I just knew this was the place. Communication was key to me and I never felt like I had any of my questions unanswered. Bianca was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and confirmed with me on details that I would forget about or didn’t even think of. Everyone was very pleasant to work with and they never made me feel like I was being too much or extra LOL which is very important. You won’t be disappointed here, everything I could’ve imagined, and more! Memories I will cherish forever.

Spanish Hills was a great venue. The food was incredible, Claire Handville was a dream to work with, and the views and grounds are absolutely beautiful. We had such a great time working with Spanish Hills and are so glad we chose to get married there. The only negative is that they only offer a 2 hour vendor strike; adding more set up time was an additional fee that was out of our budget range. Overall I would highly recommend!
