Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 1906 Greek Revival mansion was originally the Holberg Hotel. The 8,000 square foot Inn with nine guest bedrooms still has its original features: Georgia heart pine floors, ornate tin ceilings, elegant light fixtures and chandeliers, and eleven fireplaces. A beautiful garden, rocking chairs, and porch swings on the generous wrap-around veranda add to your journey back in time.

Where do I start ? First this review is long overdue! I couldn’t give a more glowing review for the Veranda’s staff and Lori Burnett, the coordinator/planner for our wedding. To say Lori is an excellent wedding coordinator/planner is really doing her an injustice. Lori was on point with every single aspect of our wedding. We were coming from out of state , which makes planning a wedding difficult to say the least. We had a few issues with our original caterer and had to switch it up virtually last minute and Lori was with us the entire time ensuring us everything would be perfect. She worked closely with all of our vendors to ensure the day was seamless! She had endless ideas that gave us the ability to have the look and feel that we were looking for on our special day. We went in hoping for the best but knowing , it’s virtually impossible to have everything go perfect on your wedding day. Thanks to Lori, the incredible staff and the vendors our day was absolutely perfect. Lori asked for a sort of report card of our day wondering what they could have done different or better and so on. Even this far out from that day I can not think of a single thing. Everything from our breakfast, made by the wonderful Ms Lavern to the last dance of the night ,was exactly how we wanted it down to the smallest details ! Lori really busted her butt the whole weekend and I’m sure in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. The Veranda was decorated beautifully, Lori was in super early getting everything ready the day of, coordinating the staff and vendors like an elite maestro preforming a flawless rendition of Mozart! In our 10th year of fabulous weddings and family reunions, thousands of people around the world have visited our farm and enjoyed being away from their hectic lives—-yet connecting with nature and the people who matter.

I have shot around 15 weddings at Bogle Farms and each one has been so uniquely beautiful! I love the ability for each couple to make the venue their own style. The horses are wonderful and there is always a perfect spot for photos. Oh and the sunsets are too die for! Always a pleasure to work there!

The Loft at Due South combines the celebrated cuisine of Due South Seafood Kitchen with a polished elegance that fuses perfectly for your special event. We offer an extensive list of menus options to choose from and our chef can customize the menu to fit your needs. We host a variety of events such as Rehearsal Dinners, Corporate Events, Weddings and Receptions, Day Meetings, Seminars, Birthdays, Proms, and many other Family Events. The Loft at Due South is comprised of 3 separate rooms. Each room can be reserved separately or you can reserve the entire Loft. The Main Ballroom has direct access to the bar as well as 2 patios and can seat up to 150 guests. The Augusta Room and The Savannah Room both seat up to 50 guests, but the difference is that the Augusta room has a window and the Savannah room is a bit larger. All rooms are equipped with A/V that are included as an option when reserving the space. Couches and chairs are also available in all rooms for a cozy feel for any event.

Our wedding was held at the Loft at Due South and it was amazing! From start to finish this was an amazing experience and Kelly was extremely patient and helpful in making our day special. The meal plans and overall costs make this space desirable for those wishing to host a small to mid size wedding in metro Atlanta. I highly recommend this venue!

A wedding at Flat Creek Country Club can only be described as spectacular. The ballroom is decorated with lovely shades of muted grays and golds with floor to ceiling windows that offer unobtrusive views of the luscious golf course. The wood beamed ceiling soars above your guests offering an intimate atmosphere for even the largest of groups. Our outdoor ceremony site is simply breathtaking. A cobbled walkway and wisteria covered stone and pine arbor leads you to a beautiful alter overlooking a hillside with a flowing creek at its base.

The short review: A stunning venue, incredible food, and the best team of people that will make your wedding day (and the planning) feel easy, effortless, and so so special. The long review: We cannot thank Layna, Emmalee, Tara, Erinn, chefs Shannon and Shawn, and the rest of their wonderful staff enough for everything that they did to make our day so great. Their team is truly special, and we feel so lucky to have had their involvement in our big day. They did a phenomenal job working with a lot of severe food allergies and problem-solving mobility constraints so that we could have our ceremony at their STUNNING outdoor ceremony space. We keep reminiscing about how amazing everything was, each and every person of their team went above and beyond. I feel so lucky to have had the pleasure to plan our wedding with Layna. She was so incredible to work with throughout the entire process. Extremely responsive, kind, and the biggest advocate for turning our wedding dream into a reality. We so appreciate all the care, thought, time, and effort she put in to making it the best day. Layna, Emmalee, Tara, Erinn, chefs Shannon and Shawn, and their staff did such an amazing job. It was evident they are all extremely experienced. The whole team works so well with each other during the planning phase that they make the wedding day seem effortless. They work with a wide range of budgets and I have no doubt they make each feel equally special. Since our wedding, we have been getting so many compliments. I can't tell you how many have people told us it was the best wedding food they ever had, how beautiful the venue was, and how kind the staff was. I was excited when researching their venue in the beginning because so many reviews complimented their food. Now being able to speak from experience, saying it's delicious is an understatement. We did the buffet and everyone was impressed with the quality and amount of food. Multiple guests told us they couldn't decide which was their favorite between the chicken, tenderloin, or salmon. Another thing we loved was being able to access the venue the morning of the wedding day. Other venues that we had looked at before Flat Creek only allowed access two hours before the ceremony, and it just seemed like a recipe for stress. Having access in the morning made it so stress-free for family members helping out with decor and gave them plenty of time to go back to the hotel to get ready for the wedding. We also didn't have to worry about multiple events being booked for the same day. Their team truly focuses on you. This venue checks all the boxes, even ones you don't realize you have. We highly recommend having your wedding at Flat Creek Country Club. Do yourself a favor and book with them :)

We were one of the many couples who had our plans shifted due to COVID-19. Our original date was in October 2020, but due to multiple changes, my husband and I opted to downsize to a mini ceremony and family dinner. We planned to have a one year anniversary party to include the loved ones we couldn't during 2020. After so much stress in the original planning, we were overjoyed to find out that we were chosen as the couple to receive The Dottie's grand opening anniversary party. From the first phone call with Krista and Kingslea at The Dottie, I knew we had picked the right planning team for our belated reception! Even with it being a giveaway, I never once felt like we were a secondary client. Brides, you know it's a big risk to choose someone as your wedding planner, so let me reassure you, this is THE TEAM for you. Originally I thought could do it all myself, but I didn't know how much I needed a planner until I had a planner. Each step of the way, their team coordinated everything with our vendors so we could actually just be excited about the event. Our planner was attentive to special family dynamics and made our day-of event so much easier. I had full confidence that once I told her something, it would be handled with excellence. I can confidently say they are worth the investment! As for the venue, it is the best wedding venue I've seen. Having been in multiple weddings, including my own (before our anniversary party here), I know that the details matter. The culture of hospitality radiates from the structure of the venue itself to the attitude of the team members. I felt so welcomed and like they thought ahead about how to maximize our experience. Getting ready: The bride and groom suites are tailored for the needs of each group. For the bridal party they have a suite with: 1) lots of mirrors with natural daylight for making sure you feel 100% as you get ready; 2) a lounge with a mini kitchen (ex: perfect for a charcuterie station) for enjoying the down time; 3) a private bathroom that's just for the bride/bridal party including a shower. The suite was full of thoughtful details like an emergency sewing kit that saved us when we had a dress mishap 5 minutes before pictures. For the groom's suite they have a space with: 1) a lounge with large flatscreen TV for catching whichever big game is on during down time; 2) a mini kitchen for the groom's favorite snacks; 3) private bathroom (also with shower) just for the groom's party. There is an additional room where family can have their own space while getting ready or in down time between events. The big event: The main room is beautiful and a perfect blank canvas for your dream day! It holds up to 500 people and has very tall ceilings (over two stories tall). With our 125 guests, we felt very spaced out. The external walls have huge garage doors that can open for fresh air circulation (great for an event during any time, especially a hot GA summer day or a pandemic). The space is versatile and could easily be used for a ceremony and rearranged for the reception. The outdoor patio surrounding the space was great for pretty photos. We opted to have a live band which made it the ultimate fun party space with loved ones. All in all, I’d give 10/10 for this venue and their all star team. I will definitely look for ways to partner with them again in the future!
