Milton Ridge was an incredible place to get married! The beauty of the venue and the inclusive wedding options (i.e. catering, DJ, etc.) made this the absolute perfect place to say, "I do!" The getting ready suites were superb & made the day of preparation before the ceremony seamless. The chapel was so beautiful and such a great little spot off the side of 355. Our guests still comment on the simplicity of how we decorated the chapel, and how beautiful the white walls and natural light streaming in were during the ceremony. I was not sure how we'd get group photos on the property... and our photographers were able to use the beautiful stone and green areas within the venue to capture the most beautiful photos of the bride, groom and the wedding party! Guests are still RAVING about how convenient it was to walk up a few stairs to the cocktail hour AND into the reception. They marveled at the ease... park your car, attend the ceremony and then stay and party all night long until it's time to leave! The reception hall was beautiful; the buffet food was to die for; and Meghan and Brandi ensured that EVERY detail of our wedding day was accounted for, seamless and flowing without any hitch! I cannot recommend Milton Ridge enough! Thank you for making our wedding day the most memorable and BEST day of our lives! We owe it to this team, this venue and their support with planning our wedding every step of the way!

The Briar Patch was wonderful! So so beautiful and accommodating. They really worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. They made getting our friends and family a place to stay so easy and we’re so quick to answer any questions or requests we had. My bridesmaids and I needed breakfast very early on Saturday morning and they brought it right to our room, right on time before serving the other guests in the main dining room. If you are looking for a beautiful venue that accommodates out of town guests and allows the bride and bridesmaids to stay together the night before the wedding, look no further!

The Manor At Airmont was best decision and perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first met Natallia and Anthony, we felt at ease with their warm and detail-oriented communication style, it felt like we'd known them forever. They truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The Manor is a gorgeous venue alone and then the addition of high-end design/flowers, it was above and beyond. The entire team at the manor was wonderful to work with & our guests haven't stopped raving about the food, Tasty Gourmet was delicious!! Natallia added special touches throughout that made our day feel truly unique and memorable. Rixey offers the most spectacular views... from the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains on one side, to the bottom of Rixey Lake on the other. Our rooftop and patio spaces make for a magical setting both at sunset and at night, and the Ballroom, complete with climate control and ADA-accessible bathrooms, means that inclement weather won't have a negative effect on your special day. Where do I even begin?… The Rixey Manor team was the absolute best. I just got married there this week and it was a dream come true. The venue itself is gorgeous but the team at Rixey Manor is something so special. Isadora and Grace took away all of the stress me and my now husband had. They made me feel so cared for and so important. They went above and beyond to make me, my husband & our families feel like royalty. Everyone kept mentioning to us how impressed they were at how professional and thoughtful Isadora and Grace are. Isadora made sure that I felt important and helped me with absolutely everything that day. She completely took charge of the day and all me and my husband had to do was show up. My 2nd dress strap kept breaking and Isadora was always there fixing it and she always did it graciously. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people on my wedding day. The Rixey team is honestly a bunch of very special people who genuinely love what they do and they show so much love to the bride and groom. I also want to add that they were so attentive, caring and helpful when it came to my parents who both have a disability. I can go on for hours about how much I appreciate and legitimately care about Isadora and Grace. These people make dreams come true and my husband and I, along with our families are so grateful for them.

For full disclosure, this is my family’s property! It was a natural choice for us to have our wedding here not only because of that, but also because it is such a beautiful place. However, everyone in the family worked with us to help bring the celebration to life, and I have seen them go above and beyond to help support anyone who has had an event at Stonehaven Farm - not just family. We had our wedding in early September, which is typically a very lush season in the area, and the farm was very green with a creek bed full of wildflowers. Parking and shuttle drop-off was very easy for guests, and we rented a large tent for the dinner and dancing (we ultimately also had our ceremony under this tent, as a thunderstorm emerged right before the ceremony start time). After the wedding was over, we had a bonfire and the night-owls had the chance to continue to connect. Before the welcome dinner began, many guests came early to take a dip in the pool, go visit the horses and the vegetable garden, and walk around the farm, and simply catch up with one another, which is what we hoped for. This is all to say that the property offers a variety of spaces that make it a place that people can truly spend time in. We used the log cabin to stay over the weekend, which was perfect, as it is very close by but in a semi-secluded corner of the farm and allowed us to step away from the space where the events were happening and have some space to rest, reflect, and get ready. We could also have our friends come by and help us there. Bathroom access was easy for everyone, and because the farm is so spacious we even invited guests to camp out for the weekend if they were interested in doing so (which a few were). There is a perfect little nook by the pool for this, so tents were not at all in the field of view from where we had our wedding. We wanted to support local vendors and were excited to have the flexibility to source our own food, beverages, DJ, and photographer. Flowers were sourced from the local cut-flower farm Wollam Gardens and were absolutely beautiful. Stonehaven Farm is a really special place, not just for me but for everyone who visits. Guests seemed relaxed and later complemented us on what a wonderful celebration it was. If you are someone who has a creative vision for an outdoor event, whether it is a wedding or simply a gathering of your closest friends, I definitely encourage you to get in touch with Stonehaven Farm so you can go see this peaceful space for yourself. The farm has many beautiful pockets that you and your guests can enjoy, and there is a lot of flexibility to bring to life the event that you are imagining.
