I'm a Midwest-based film wedding photographer, although my work often takes me from the east to west coast, and sometimes the world. Being an artist is something I knew I wanted to be from the time I was teeny tiny, and I truly cherish every chance I get to tell someone else’s story and grow in my creativity. I love being able to create and preserve memories for my clients, and turn those moments and memories into pieces of art.

I feel so honored to be a part of the most memorable moments in so many people’s lives. My desire as an artist is to create photos that are full of life and meaning and express beauty in an honest way. For this reason, I choose to photograph your wedding in an organic nature mixing film and digital photography. My career in the arts started in a more traditional setting, studying painting and drawing and I went on to graduate with a degree in Visual Communication. I do love all the mediums I’ve studied, but my true passion is photography. I have now worked as a photographer since 2010 and I am so blessed to be doing what I love.

I talk you down when you’re texting me, panicking that maybe you bought the wrong dress. I’ll always check your teeth for lipstick before we start shooting. When that one groomsmen is running (really) late, I’ll gently take your shoulders & look you in the eye & remind you to breath deep. Everything is fine. I’ll wipe (no, DAB) your tears away so your makeup doesn’t get smudged. When you’re dancing too hard (is there such a thing?) I’ll pin your hair back into place. I’ll laugh with you. A lot.

I give depth to my images and provide extra color to my subjects, which helps brings their photos to life. I later married and moved to Cincinnati, OH, where my studio is based. But I love to travel.
