“We hired Luis Andrade of Lionizing Entertainment for our wedding, and we are SO GLAD we did! We were looking for someone who would let us have a lot of control over our music, and we got so much more. He took our requests into consideration and did a fantastic job building upon them. Luis was funny, welcoming, worked with my grandparents on getting mics connected for the videos they were taking, played excellent music, worked off of our highly curated playlists for the cocktail hour and reception, and kept the dance floor full for hours. I have never had so much fun dancing at a wedding. I highly recommend him as a DJ, I wish there was another event coming up where we could hire him again. “Matt and his son Ben were absolutely amazing at our wedding! From the very beginning, Matt was organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely listened to everything we wanted to make our day special. We felt completely comfortable knowing everything was in good hands. The photo booth was a HUGE hit, and our guests had so much fun with it! One of our favorite parts of the night was seeing our 2-year-old daughter dancing on the dance floor. Matt and Ben made sure to play the songs we had requested for her, and she had the BEST time! She danced her little heart out and slept like a log that night! We also loved that this is a family business and that Matt gets to share this experience with his sons. “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

We spoke with several DJs during our planning process, but what ultimately drew us to Mystic River Entertainment was how straightforward and transparent everything was. The packages and services were easy to understand, and as a local vendor, Jeff was incredibly familiar with the Mystic area. It felt like fate when we learned that he had actually been married on the same property before the hotel was built. Even though the Delamar Mystic was still a brand-new venue, Jeff was already familiar with the space, having worked one of the weddings during its first season. From the start, Jeff was a pleasure to work with. He was communicative, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping us create the wedding we envisioned. We were very particular about our music selections and had several unique requests, including surprise performances and custom audio files. Jeff was accommodating every step of the way. He provided thoughtful professional guidance when needed, but always respected our preferences and helped bring our vision to life. Beyond the music itself, Jeff was instrumental in helping us personalize the event. He displayed our custom logo on the DJ booth, played a photo montage we created during the reception, and worked closely with us to coordinate a surprise musical performance by our friends by providing additional microphones and arranging a practice session during cocktail hour. He also allowed us to use a custom design for our photo booth prints, which added another personal touch for our guests. On the wedding day, everything was fantastic. Jeff did an outstanding job as both our DJ and emcee. He kept the event flowing smoothly, made announcements at exactly the right times, and ensured guests always knew what was happening next. When we needed to make last-minute adjustments to the program, he adapted seamlessly and kept everything running without a hitch. “We hired Intrinsic Groove to perform at our wedding in April 2026 and it was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. We watched a lot of videos and felt confident they were going to be great, but they far exceeded our expectations. They were high energy, crowd engaging, phenomenal performers who met the vibe every single time. Vocals were KILLER. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and I credit a lot of that to the energy the band brought. On top of a killer reception, they also did incredible ceremony and cocktail hour music that made everything flow harmoniously. You just can’t beat a killer band for your wedding, worth every penny! “If you want every single person to fall in love with your DJ and dance the night away then you want Denise! She was everything you could possibly want when working with a vendor. She takes care of everything! She was extremely detail oriented and attentive to our needs. She is very passionate about music and the power it has to create magic in any space. She thought of every scenario and was prepared with all the equipment to make the sound the best it could be. She listened to all of our requests and went above and beyond her job to take care of guests and make everyone feel like they were the most important person there. People kept coming up to me during the party asking me about Denise and telling me how wonderful she was! She worked with staff from the catering company to ensure smooth transitions the whole evening. She was able to navigate complex family dynamics with so much grace and patience. (So rest assured she can handle all scenarios and personality types!) We had a multigenerational (ages ranging from 13-81) and multicultural party and you better believe everyone was on that dance floor having a wonderful time! She was able to blend classic songs with modern ones so well that you could see everyone singing and dancing even when they were not on the dance floor. I already knew we wanted Denise after reading other reviews on here but let me tell you the reviews cannot even do her justice. She will absolutely add the special touches to make your party one to remember. She has a beautiful energy that honestly made me more excited than I already was. We all loved her so much we want her to join the family and I am sure that other people that have worked with her feel the same. Denise is an absolute joy to work with and to be around. You will not be disappointed if you choose the privilege of working with her.”

“Dana is just the kindest, most easy going, accommodating, and fun person, who is also a wonderful entertainer, singer, and MC. He kept our night moving and in track, accommodated our many very specific ask and requests, and had a great energy all night. He was really a joy to work with. I would highly recommend any couple looking for a talented DJ and, really, a good person, to go with Dana. “We cannot recommend Bright Set Entertainment enough! We used Bright Set for our wedding at Mountain View Grand in May 2026 and hired them for our DJ, photo booth, ceremony and reception audio, and piano music. From the very beginning, Cassandra was incredible to work with. We spent over a year planning together, and she was organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and always willing to hop on a call, answer questions, or help think through ideas. One thing that really stood out was how invested Cassandra was in making sure everything ran smoothly. She wasn't just someone behind the scenes coordinating logistics — she was actually onsite for our wedding day and felt like part of our team. Unfortunately, we experienced an unexpected fire alarm interruption immediately following our first dance that temporarily paused our reception and forced guests outside. Cassandra, alongside our day-of coordinator, immediately jumped into problem-solving mode. When we were finally able to return to the ballroom, she creatively had us reintroduced to "Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston, which turned a stressful situation into a funny and memorable moment that had everyone laughing. We were so grateful for her ability to stay calm, think quickly, and help keep the energy positive. DJ Dennis was fantastic and kept the dance floor packed all night. He did an amazing job reading the room and creating a fun atmosphere for guests of all ages. The photo booth was a huge hit as well. Guests loved the glow booth and the customized photo overlay, and we ended up with so many great keepsakes from the night. Entertainment-wise, everything was seamless. The ceremony audio, microphones, piano music, reception flow, DJ services, and photo booth were all executed beautifully.
