“Hiring Alex was one of the best decisions I made! I had all intentions of planning my own wedding and realized it's a full time job and I needed an expert. I hired her for partial wedding planning and design. Her pricing was more than fair. Alex's communication was top notch between scheduled zoom calls, in person meetings, emails and texts she was always more than prompt with her responses. My MOH was planning a surprise during the wedding for us and she also communicated straight with Alex and said how great she was. She had many organized templates and questionairres for us to follow and fill out to ensure she had all the information she needed. She would reach out and get information on things for me even though I said I could do it. She knew I was putting unneccsary stress on myself and wanted to handle it for me even though I gave her an out. I may have tortured her by making her put all my escort cards on the origami cranes I made but she didn't even bat an eye lol. For me a photographer was my highest priority vendor for my wedding day and I did a lot of extensive research before choosing Danielle. Once I saw her work I just knew I needed her to capture my day. I had a ton of questions before I booked and Danielle was willing to meet with my husband and me in person and patiently answered all of them. When it came time to take our engagement pictures my husband and I chose Island Beach State Park. The area we wanted to use for pictures required us to pile into my husband’s car and drive about ten minutes on the beach. “We had a terrific experience working with Meaghan and Brendon of “Far Out Feeling.” If you’ve made it this far, you already love their style – their ability to capture both candid and staged photos artfully – and we are happy to report that the photographers have personalities to match. We loved meeting them for drinks months in advance of our wedding, which gave us a nice context for one another when the day finally came (we cannot imagine, now, not knowing our wedding photographers when they arrived to take pictures of us!) We interviewed over 20 bands from the NYC area and decided to go with Vitamin M after really vibing with their band leader, JJ. And boy are we glad we did! JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. He even helped us surprise our guests with a singing introduction of the bride and groom. He took time to get to know us and was always happy to answer any questions we had. This was not a cookie cutter wedding band performance. This is a group of truly talented professional musicians putting on a real show. “I got the Photo / Video / DJ package deal with free selfie booth. They came an hour early to make sure everything was setup, I even got an extra hour of photos taken while the videographer was putting together his gizmo. He recommended Drawlines Studio for video which they did a fabulous job putting the video together. There DJ was perfect, had a speaker system for the ceremony and for the venue. “The complete package! From the moment we started to work with Al and his team we knew we were in good hands. He started with a questionnaire that asked questions we didn't even think of as far as photography was concerned. On the day of our wedding he was right there for all of the important shots, but also out of the way so he was not intruding on the moments. When the photos were presented we had the hardest time deciding what to keep for the album since ALL of the photos were truly amazing! The album is something we will treasure forever. “I don't even know where to start--TL/DR: Hire Jeff and his crew immediately, this is an easy decision amidst many difficult ones! Jeff was simply wonderful to work with; his easygoing and kind presence were evident from our very first video call. His assistants day-of were likewise incredibly upbeat and professional. Their coverage was comprehensive but somehow completely unobtrusive; my husband and I didn't notice them at all during the day save for some personalized instruction from Jeff (which he was amenable to doing more or less of per our preference, as we wanted things to feel as natural as possible). His presence was just what you would want, like a bright ray of sunlight cutting through the stress of the day. I felt like we were in good hands, and that he and his crew were doing their absolute best. We were excited for the video(s) but unprepared for the quality. You see, Jeff's prices are far more reasonable than many others we looked at, and his services more comprehensive, and a part of us wondered if it was too good to be true. It wasn't. We were blown away. The short video (set to a song of our choice and edited perfectly to fit the song) was a work of art; he perfectly captured the feeling of the day and picked the best footage. The longer video was so well edited too--we were expecting something much more raw but there was so much attention to detail. Above and beyond, and incredibly thorough, is how I would characterize Jeff for the entirety of the process. We couldn't be more pleased. While in the process of picking a photographer, Laura and I chatted over Zoom and I was pleasantly surprised with how easy Laura was to talk to, as well as how organized she seemed with her planning. We ended up doing his 6 hour package, and also customized it so we could get all of our raw footage.
