“Hiring DJ KDOT LIM (Kevin) was the best decision we made when going through the process of hiring our vendors. I am very particular about my music and it was a TOP priority that we worked with someone that understood our vibe, vision, and overall music selection for our big day. He was such a pro and knew what to ask for our venue's AV set up, music prep, and even attending rehearsal which was totally optional for him to join. “My husband and I had one non-negotiable for our wedding - to have a live band. We went to the BVT showcase and immediately fell in love with Experience. They were a little bit out of our budget, but we decided to book them anyways and cut back on other things and let me tell you ...they were worth every single penny!!! Luke is the nicest, coolest guy and so great to work with!! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. Our guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and several of them even got their card for their own events! Having Experience was the best decision we made!! “Let’s start with “WOW!” We had a music festival themed wedding with four bands so music was a critical piece of our wedding weekend and the standards were high. We interviewed over 20 bands from the NYC area and decided to go with Vitamin M after really vibing with their band leader, JJ. And boy are we glad we did! JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. He even helped us surprise our guests with a singing introduction of the bride and groom. He took time to get to know us and was always happy to answer any questions we had. This was not a cookie cutter wedding band performance. This is a group of truly talented professional musicians putting on a real show.
