The Montclair Bread Company has been open since 2012. Rabble Rise, the new identity of Montclair Bread Company, is a retail and wholesale doughnut bakery, event space, and caterer. We cater outside events, such as weddings and anniversaries. We also host parties in our New Paltz and Montclair locations. We just love a celebration. The building dates back to 1837, a three-level structure which was built by William Nelson. Peekskill lawyer, Congressman, and friend to Abraham Lincoln. A small stage, built on the 3rd floor in 1870, was identified as the “Dramatic Hall.” This emblematic building had been abandoned for about 20 years and fallen into disrepair until 2012, a complete renovation took place restoring the 1870-era theater. The Dramatic Hall serves as a space to host weddings, private parties, plays, live music performances, and more.
