The Haight

5.0

Elgin, IL
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor

The Haight is a wedding and event venue located in Elgin, IL and is enveloped by a historic neighborhood, for a romantic and storied setting for your wedding. This converted warehouse was originally constructed in the 1890s. It began as the Elgin Storage & Transfer Company. Over the years numerous companies used the building until 1985 when it was bought by John Haight, who refurbished the building. The Haight features two floors and a rooftop area. Brick walls and hardwood flooring accent exposed ductwork. There are multiple spaces for hosting your ceremony, reception, and many other wedding-related gatherings. On the first floor, there is room for up to 175 guests standing. This makes the 2,000-square-foot space ideal for the cocktail reception. The second floor features 7,000 square feet of space. 250 people seated or 200 people seated with a dance floor can fit in this event area. You can also take your celebrations outside on the spacious rooftop deck.

The Haight was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Lauren, our coordinator, was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and detail-oriented throughout the planning process, making it stress-free for us. On the big day itself, Lauren handled everything seamlessly behind the scenes - if any issues came up, we were blissfully unaware thanks to her proactive approach. The venue itself is unique, clean, and simply beautiful. From the charming exposed brick to the giant windows flooding the space with natural light, The Haight provided a warm, romantic backdrop for our nuptials. Combined with Lauren's coordination, their team delivered a flawless event beyond our wildest dreams. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind venue with wonderful personal service, The Haight exceeds expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend them for your special day!

Holiday Home Camp

5.0

Williams Bay, WI
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $2,000

Holiday Home Camp (HHC) is more than a ‘day of’ wedding venue. Instead, it is a magical space that caters to families as they come together to celebrate what being a family, new or old, truly means. HHC is truly a unique property with so many options to make your guests' experience a memorable one that will be talked about for generations. We believe in “comfortable elegance” which isn’t simply a tagline, but instead a standard throughout all that we offer. Comfort to us means a stress free experience for you and your guests from planning, to the day of your wedding and even afterwards. Holiday Home Camp was founded in 1887 and is America's oldest acredited children's camp. Our grounds include 26 wooded acres overlooking Lake Geneva. We are run by the Lake Geneva Fresh Air Association and are accredited by the American Camp Association. Our grounds are welcoming to all guests and potential couples.

Holiday Home Camp is very dear to my heart, as it is where I met my husband and where we held our wedding. The venue is breathtaking, with magnificent views and newly renovated facilities, making it the perfect backdrop for our big day. I cannot express how incredible the experience was; it surpassed all our expectations and was truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a magical and unique place to host their wedding.
