“I hired The Polar Peddler for the floral decor for my wedding and I was stunned with how perfectly Dana just 'got' my vision! I asked for jewel tones with an emphasis on varying texture. I didn't have many 'must have' flowers but I did have a few I liked and a few I didn't, and that's all I had to tell her! I had purchased some dyed/dried florals and peacock feathers before I organized with Dana and she was even willing to add these items in for me! When she showed up the morning of, I was astounded at how well she made it look like those elements were part of the plan the entire time. I can't tell you how many compliments that I got on the florals throughout the night and as the bride, having so many of your friends and loved ones complimenting your vendors so highly is such a win! “Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!”

“After learning about Becca's ethical sourcing and seeing some of her prior work, we knew that we wanted her to be our wedding florist. From our initial consult via Zoom all the way through the post-event clean up, Becca was a total dream of a vendor--always extremely professional, responsive, and accommodating. She knows her product and is passionate about sustainability and ethical sourcing, both of which were important to us (especially in light of how wasteful weddings have the potential to be). Becca was able to work within our budget and identify areas where we could save money but still have the look we wanted. She created a beautiful piece that hung from our chuppah as well as an enchanted tablescape for our backyard wedding. We wanted something that would last a little longer than the typical ephemeral wedding flowers, so we worked with Becca to create a small "take home" plant gift for each guest (either an air plant or succulent) that worked well as part of the tablescape. I love visiting friends and family and seeing these little plants thriving in their new homes. Overall, I can't recommend Becca highly enough!”
