The Rustic Barn Venue was established in 2017 and has been the home of weddings, corporate gatherings, birthdays and many other events ever since. We offer personalized service and a first-rate venue to be the backdrop for your special occasion. Our unique venue boasts an event center "show barn" built in the 1940's for indoor receptions, ready rooms atop a converted corn crib, outdoor ceremony seating with pergola, grain bin bar and beautifully manicured lawns and gardens.

Enjoy the scenic 6-mile drive from SW Rochester on paved roads to a magical place nestled in the rolling hillsides of southeast Minnesota. We’ve owned and operated our family perennial farm with sprawling gardens which has hosted hundreds of weddings for over 25 years. Our new wedding & events facility is a heated & cooled vintage, European-style carriage house to match our existing civil war era (1858!) brick house. The Carriage House can accommodate 150 guests in the warm months and 100 in the winter. The space flows into the gardens and expansive patio area for additional seating. Now booking for year-round events! We do still have room for a 2024 wedding! Now booking 2025.

The Cottage at Woodland Farm is a beautiful venue hosting timeless weddings, private parties, and seasonal events in the heart of the Cedar Valley in Iowa. We’re now booking for mid-2025 and beyond. Our inclusive approach provides everything needed for a seamless event! Enjoy overnight accommodations in our charming bridal cottage, which sleeps up to 12 guests. Prepare for your big day in our gorgeous bridal suite and groom room, then celebrate in our elegant event barn, covered lower barn, or gathering hall (coming soon!).
