Opening its doors in 1997, Soho South is located in the heart of Historic Downtown Savannah, appropriately named after the iconic New York City neighborhood for its proximity to nearby shops and entertainment venues. Built originally as an automotive service station in 1945, the building sat vacant for a number of years before being transformed into the events venue you see today. The monumental, vast interior space includes the buildings original exposed elements such as the steel windows, iron trusses, and solid wooden garage doors. The overall atmosphere results in a versatile space that lends itself to a myriad of gatherings and special events.

Spanning a generous 8000 square feet, The Rebecca Padgett Event Center offers boundless possibilities for your events. A beautiful venue, The Padgett Center radiates an inviting ambiance that is ideal for a variety of events. Open floor plans are versatile enough for dance floors or stages at your wedding reception. Our main 3000 square foot space can accommodate up to 300 guests comfortably

The Grand Ocean Terrace hosts up to 180 guests in a stunning venue directly on the pristine beaches of Hilton Head Island, while the magnificent Grand Ballroom hosts elegant affairs for up to 400 guests. Facilities and Capacity Gatherings of up to 120 guests can be accommodated at Crosswinds Golf Club, making it the perfect venue for intimate weddings. Couples can exchange their vows on the pristine lawns of the golf course, surrounded by leafy trees and verdant foliage. This picturesque setting creates a beautiful backdrop for wedding photographs and film. The adjacent bar area can be used for additional seating if required. With a seating capacity of 50 guests, the bar can also host rehearsal dinners. During cocktail hour, guests can mingle on the stylish balcony. Various wedding packages and services are available at Crosswinds Golf Club. The professional event staff is dedicated to providing couples with everything they need to host their special celebration. They can provide tables and chairs and the set-up and clean-up of the event space. China, glassware, and linens are available to dress the tables for your event. The venue also provides on-site parking, complimentary WiFi.
