The Banyan Estate is the premier, historic event venue in Brevard County, Florida. Today, you can still see the beauty and grace of the property starting with the classical architecture and continuing with the spacious grounds. Not the least of which is the magnificent Banyan Tree that has flourished on the back lawn and inspired the naming of The Banyan Estate. Built as the area’s first county school in 1927, the Historic Malabar Schoolhouse has been used for many purposes over the years and the owners continue to meet local residents who know and love the property and add to its unique vintage character. The owners of The Banyan Estate have always had a love for historic architecture and vintage elements. Historic Lighthouse Weddings take place at the base of the steps leading to the 1860 Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. This beautiful, waterfront setting - complete with gazebo, lush vegetation and sparkling inlet waters - makes this the perfect wedding site. An enormous & dramatic Ficus tree, planted in the 1930s to commemorate the site of the first Lighthouse Keeper’s House, provides a beautiful shaded area for guests on the Lighthouse deck. Indian RiverSide Park, located at 1707 NE Indian River Drive in Jensen Beach, is the premier family destination park in Martin County. This 63-acre park borders the Indian River Lagoon. Indian RiverSide Park offers a range of amenities, including a ½-mile of waterfront space, a ¾-mile walking path and mangrove boardwalk, a 780-foot fishing pier, a free interactive play fountain, a beach, four picnic pavilions, and beautifully landscaped gardens and open grass fields.
