Built as the area’s first county school in 1927, the Historic Malabar Schoolhouse has been used for many purposes over the years and the owners continue to meet local residents who know and love the property and add to its unique vintage character. The owners of The Banyan Estate have always had a love for historic architecture and vintage elements. Historic Lighthouse Weddings take place at the base of the steps leading to the 1860 Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. This beautiful, waterfront setting - complete with gazebo, lush vegetation and sparkling inlet waters - makes this the perfect wedding site. An enormous & dramatic Ficus tree, planted in the 1930s to commemorate the site of the first Lighthouse Keeper’s House, provides a beautiful shaded area for guests on the Lighthouse deck.
