She gave great suggestions for poses or things to try with him (swing him up in the air to get him to giggle, swing him while we walk, let him "race" and run towards her) and despite my anxiety about being able to get any usable photos (we've failed with other photographers in the past), we got several! She was totally willing to roll with it and let him do some exploring while she worked on candid shots of the family and it turns out those were our favorites.
