Our company was started in 1956 by my father and mother. I have worked full time since 1970 and my youngest daugher workes for us full time. We have many long time employees that have been with us as long as 23 years We pride ourselves that we are not a internet company that just has operators in cubicals that take orders from people on the web and transfer them to real florists with real florist shops. We do all of our own work on orders within our delivery area and only send orders to real florists in other states.

I grew up in a divided home, literally. Splitting time between my parents after their divorce, often being in the middle of their fighting, made me grow into a very empathetic person. It’s become the biggest strength I take with me into wedding days. My documentary style stems from my ability to sense when special moments are about to happen. Eventful At Locust Grove is on a farm that was established in 1847 and was named Locust Grove. The home on the property is a beautiful backdrop for your photos. The garden space is where we do our ceremonies, the ceremony area sits next to a field that is either planted in corn or soybeans and is a gorgeous view for your guests. Next door sits our reception venue that is covered with Kansas limestone to give it an old barn feel. There are some cool architectural details inside including white columns and vintage chandeliers. We have a leather Chesterfield sofa in the front room with some leather club chairs and other seating for your guests. It's a great first layer of decor for you to come in and put your spin on for your big day. We offer lots of decor for you to use for the tables and we will set it all up for you once you have made your selections. That leaves you with less to do but the final layer of "fairy dust" to add to your vision.
