We had our wedding at Holman Ranch and cannot recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, the team at Holman Ranch was thorough, attentive, and helpful in their communication with us. The venue itself provided a beautiful, romantic setting for our special day. We truly felt we received white glove service - the staff attended to every detail and request. While not the least expensive venue option, Holman Ranch was worth every penny for the exceptional service, gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony and reception, and seamless execution of our wedding day vision. The Holman Ranch team went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. People were constantly checking in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. We received communication leading up to our big day to cover all details, and the staff followed up afterwards as well. Indoor ceremonies and receptions can be hosted in various locations on the property. Camp Carmel Valley offers 33 cabins, 4 houses, and bunk rooms onsite to accommodate up to 120 overnight guests. As a pet-friendly venue, you and your partner will be welcome to incorporate your four-legged companion into your events. By offering multiple-day use of the Camp, you can also incorporate "Camp Activities" like yard games, archery, swimming, tennis, and hiking into your celebration and really take advantage of spending time with your friends and family during this special time.

We have worked with The Camp Carmel Valley for years and this location is a wonderful venue for a wedding or corporate event. They are responsive to guests needs, easy to work with and such a serene place to be for a weekend. As a vendor, we love the versatility of the space for outdoor cooking displays or use of their kitchen. We have catered for large groups for all meals on their weekends and it has always been a great experience. 10/10 recommend!

We got married at Sydalyn Hill in late June 2022. Our wedding and everything leading up to it was everything we could have hoped for and more. Gwyn was extremely organized and professional, providing helpful maps, templates, and timelines for our planning process and always willing to offer input/advice when needed. Her husband and two amazing daughters were also so welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful, and play a huge role in making Sydalyn Hill the special place that it is. The venue itself was absolutely our dream venue, with so much natural beauty that in our opinion you hardly need to worry about decor! As eco-conscious minimalists, we really appreciate the lengths that Gwyn and her family go through to reduce waste and avoid plastic, and we opted to use many of the decoration items owned by Sydalyn Hill instead of buying our own for the sake of the environment (and our wallets!). The result was the most rustic and magical wedding we could ever have imagined. Our guests were blown away by the beautiful spots around the grounds for photos like the garden, swing, and orchard, all the fun lawn games, and dancing/dining under the walnut tree chandeliers! We can't recommend Sydalyn Hill highly enough. Thank you so much to the entire Weisberg family for making our dream wedding come true!

With a maximum capacity of 180 people, Hakone Estate and Gardens offers both indoor and uncovered outdoor settings. The overall feel of the 18 acres private venue is classy and outdoorsy. Wheelchair accessible venue offers nearby parking for its guests. Event planning services are also available by Hakone Estate and Gardens to help couples plan a day that they can remember for the rest of their lives. Although the venue does not provide catering or event rentals, We do have a list of trusted preferred vendors who have years of professional experience. The long list of preferred vendors & caterers that Hakone Estate and Gardens provides range from caterers and florists to entertainment and officiants. Each of our preferred vendors have worked with Hakone Estate and Gardens before and is familiar with the venue’s policies and regulations.

We had our wedding at Hakone in June 2023. We booked the venue early out (Sep 2021) and have had an extremely positive experience from planning up to our wedding day. The site: Beautiful space for what we needed (120 guests). Guests, including kids, loved experiencing the garden before and after the ceremony. There is a variety of areas/backdrops for photographer to take portraits. Amenities: Their "base" rental includes most essentials - tables, chairs, dance floor, and basic sound system. It is one of the few places we could find in the bay area that allows BYO alcohol which is typically more cost-efficient than an alcohol package from caterer. The only "con" is due to being in a residential area, dancing/loud music has to be wrapped up fairly early. Service: Although the venue does not technically come with a formal planner/coordinator, we felt taken care of by Tony and Melia every step of the way. After booking, they willingly allowed us to come back for 2-3 additional tours and answered our emails promptly. They even coordinated rehearsal and allowed us to drop off decor items/alcohol on the rehearsal day. We did not hire a planner/day-of coordinator (just had family friends help out) and yet we felt completely taken care of. On our wedding day, Melia ensured our ceremony started on time and directing the procession. She even stayed until the end of reception. Most of our vendors had worked at Hakone before which made the day even more seamless. After the wedding, we promptly received our deposit.
