The Highlands House

A brick pathway leads from the house to the lawn. There, you’ll find a ceremony area on one side and on the other, space large enough for guests to dine and play yard games. The lawn is surrounded by trees and hedges, creating intimacy for your upscale backyard party.

The abundance of windows allows for the warm embrace of sunlight to fill the room by day and a gentle breeze during the dance. Guests can step outside for a seat on the covered patio, while remaining engaged with the party. On the other wall, stately wood panels form the alcove of a former fireplace and create a luxurious yet cozy vibe. The Lorenzo Room leads to the Garden Room, perfect for guests getting a beverage from the bar between dancing to your favorite songs.

The large skylight lets natural light pour in during the afternoon before the romantic sunset hues glow through the evening. The wet bar offers a more formal affair for guests to get a refreshment between dancing to your favorite songs. Accessibility: This room may be entered through the Lorenzo Room or through the back hallway near the restroom. There is an entrance from the outside as well, with several small steps.

The Newell Room sits between the foyer and the kitchen, making a space ideal for guests to mingle or rest their feet between dancing. Display hors d'oeuvres and desserts or use the room for a photo booth opportunity.

Two comfortable rooms offer space for the wedding parties to get ready. They are adjoined by a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. A small half-bath is across the hall. Accessibility: These rooms are upstairs and there is no elevator access.
