“It all started in October 2022 when Michael and I bought a house in the area. We were driving around to explore and stubbled upon Ridgecrest. I had always wanted to get married on the side of a cliff. I said wouldn't it be so cool to get married here? Right in our town? Fast forward to seeing an ad for Stroudsmoor wedding expo. I wasn't even engaged and I booked us two tickets. It was just one day before the expo, when Michael proposed. I only had one venue in mind. Ridgecrest. When I would tell people where I was getting married at, I will never forget what everyone said; "it is so pretty there and the staff take such great care of you". And oh my gosh, YES do they ever take care of you! I can have panic attacks but the staff kept me focused. I was well care for with patience and love. I learned new techniques to distract me from anxiety that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Thank you Belkis, Corinne, Kaylie, Becca, Corinne's sister and Carolyn. You ladies kept me together. At the end of wedding night, I have received nothing but positive compliments of how stunning my wedding was. It was the best wedding some guests had attended. The most beautiful. The happiest. Room was filled with love and everyone could feel it. Guests told me the food was great. So much food. So many IPA choices. Appetizers were great. Band was awesome. Venue stunning. Views of the valley gorgeous. Live painter was amazing. Hair and make-up made my girls into bombshells. A luxury deluxe wedding. I went all out for this wedding. Deciding to book it for March and hoping for snow. And sure enough, during my vows I got my a small flurry of snow. This place is magic. I would do it again and again. Wedding planning is stressful but this place made it easy with an all in one package. Hair and make up, catering, floral and decor, bakery, and lodging ALL on site!! Then just use their wedding expo to research and pick a photographer, music, transportation and officiant. And you have all the major stuff already done! The next day after my wedding I did not have a feeling of let down. I was on cloud 9. And I told Michael, this place can just take my money again and again.”

“We can not say enough good things about this venue. The owners are so sweet and attentive. The space is beautiful and very affordable for what you get. Our wedding had 150 guests and we felt like the space was filled perfectly. We had a buffet style dinner and an opened bar which both were perfectly accommodated. The dance floor is perfect. We were able to fit our deserts under the dj booth which is lofted. It was perfect for a snack as people got hungry from dancing. Our Photo Booth also fit nicely on the upper floor. The ceremony space we did outside and our pictures are perfect. Can not say enough good things”

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

“I couldn't have picked a better place to get married. Everyone told me to expect at least one thing to go wrong on my wedding day. The only bad thing that happened was that it rained! (Obviously uncontrollable) however, the coordinators still made it perfect. The inside was set up perfectly. I only truly wanted our pictures outside. They literally followed me around with umbrellas and followed my bridesmaids around with hair dryers to dry our dresses and keep us looking our best all while they were getting wet! I received SO many compliments on my wedding. Multiple people during the days after said it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended!”

Located at 737 W Fort McClure Blvd in Bloomsburg, the property provides privacy and seclusion for its guests but is only a few minutes away from hotels and downtown Bloomsburg. The Barn features a huge second story deck that wraps around half the building; it provides a wonderful space for guests during the warmer months.

“My husband and I decided to get married last-minute due to my mom's late cancer diagnosis and terminal prognosis. With only two months, our options for venues were very limited. Harmony Hall Estate quickly became the obvious choice! PROS: Their pricing package is flexible, with lots of options to tailor your experience to your budget. With great options for in-house catering and decorating, you'll save a lot of money and time on both. You can also pay an additional fee to bring in outside caterers. The food at our wedding came from Karen's Catering, their in-house caterer. We enjoyed our dishes at dinner and during cocktail hour. The pretzel cart absolutely hit the spot, though, and was a hit with our guests. Overall, I'd say the food was satisfying. The bar options, like the food packages, are quite flexible. We chose to prepay our bar tab for our guests, which allowed us to be open bar up to a certain price. We were able to add more to that tab via cash during the wedding. The venue itself is beautiful, with plenty of outdoor location choices for your ceremony. The location is convenient, with hotels nearby and shuttles that run you and your guests to and from the venue. The farmhouse to get ready in is gorgeous and historic, making it a wonderful location for pictures. There are plenty of places on the property for taking beautiful portraits with your partner and family. The ballroom is spacious, with flexible floor plans that Jill will work with you to design. You'll receive access to Aisle Planner when you book with Harmony Hall Estate, which is a nice online service to upload all of your wedding information. Included is a service to make your reception floor plan. CONS: I was told the key to the farmhouse would be placed in the lockbox, but couldn't find it morning of. None of the contacts at Harmony Hall answered when I called, and it took us nearly 45 minutes of searching to finally find the key in a mailbox. We lost a lot of valuable time to get ready, which created stress, and on top of that the farmhouse was so hot that my bridesmaids and I were sweating bullets while trying to do our hair and makeup. The temperature inside the building was in the mid and upper seventies, which was brutal with so many people and hot hair tools on. Additionally, while they have plenty of pricing options, I will say that their information package is somewhat confusing and rather lengthy. It could be tweaked to be more streamlined for the sake of clarity. The crab dip that we paid extra for during cocktail hour was disappointing. I don't recommend paying the upcharge for it, sadly. It's also good to keep in mind that you will pay the same price for a vendor's plate as you will one of your guests. This wasn't communicated to me until I asked, so I do recommend that the staff at Harmony Hall make sure their clients are aware of this. Our bartender, though kind, was unfamiliar with many of today's popular drinks and was rather slow, which was disappointing. OVERALL: Harmony Hall Estate is a great venue for a budget-friendly, beautiful wedding! I'd like to add as a disclaimer that our timeline for wedding planning was especially short, so some of the shortcomings when it comes to clarity/explanations of things may very well just be due to our rushed timeline. Since we are based in Kentucky, it made it harder to communicate effectively with Jill and the team at Harmony Hall.”

“Our June 2022 wedding at Rusty Rail was better than I imagined. Not only is the space amazing, but the staff were friendly and attentive. They did a great job taking totes of decor I brought and styling the space with it. The food was out of this world and we keep getting rave reviews from our guests. “I held my wedding at the Cypress House on May 27th and I cannot use a better word to describe the day than "perfect". The Cypress House is a truly exceptional venue and it is even more gorgeous than the photos. We hosted our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the venue. I cannot tell how many times throughout our wedding day my husband and I were asked "how did you find this place?!" Not only is the venue stunning but the staff is nothing short of exceptional. The three sisters who run this venue take tremendous pride in this place and it shows. They were all easy to work with and were so accommodating of my busy schedule while planning my wedding. Courtney made coordinating all aspects of the venue easy and provided an excellent list of vendors which were AMAZING. Alexa added the most gorgeous designs and rentals that enhanced our day and made it feel like us. Chelsea provided some of the most stunning florals ever and transformed our ceremony flowers into a gorgeous sweetheart table. The staff that helped us on the day was also amazing and we laughed at many points because they are so organized and on top of things we felt like we had the secret service keeping our wedding day running smoothly! Finally our day of coordinator Chloe was so easy to work with and immediately felt like a friend helping us make the day run perfectly. “Look no further than The Booking House. The Booking House was the very first wedding venue we toured and I fell in love instantly. The venue speaks for itself; there is so much character and is such a beautiful venue. The staff are incredible! Brittany is amazing- her communication from the very beginning was prompt and professional, she’s so friendly and I don’t think I ever saw her without a smile on her face. We booked both the day of coordination and in house bartending services and everything was amazing. Emilie was fantastic to work with to help us curate the perfect bar menu for our wedding day and is able to assist with recommendations. Aalea was our day of coordinator and I there are no words for how amazing she is. Whenever someone would ask me about how the wedding was the only thing I could say was “absolutely perfect” and that’s no exaggeration. Aalea and the entire Booking House team were able to fulfill my wedding vision dreams and the entire day went off without a single hiccup ( or at least none that I was ever aware of.) “Historic Shady Lane provided excellent communication throughout our wedding planning process. Their coordinator Caitlyn was very good about keeping us informed and addressing any of our questions or concerns. The venue itself was beautifully stunning, with a gorgeous greenhouse and very spacious reception tent. When it rained on our wedding day, they were quick to accommodate and rearrange the setup so our guests could stay nice and dry inside the greenhouse. They also offered golf cart transportation, which our guests really appreciated. While their preferred vendor list had some great options, we ended up finding an amazing makeup artist that wasn't on their list. Overall, Historic Shady Lane contributed greatly to making our special day unforgettable.”

“Historic Ashland was the perfect venue for our April wedding! From the moment we toured the property, we fell in love with the atmosphere and potential it offered for our wedding day. Leah and her entire team were quick to respond and schedule showings, answer questions through the planning process, and they executed our ceremony and reception perfectly. Amanda was our Day of Coordinator and was someone we could fully trust to keep the day running smoothly. Not only were we in love with how the day went, but so many of our guests also complimented how beautiful the venue was and how they enjoyed their time too! “Stokesay Castle is truly a dream venue, not just because of its breathtaking scenery, but because of its incredible staff. When we first toured the venue the manager, Luis, welcomed us like family. He took the time to explain all the packages available and even adjusted his recommendations to match our guest count, and never pushed us toward anything we didn’t need. He also shared helpful budget-friendly tips to make our day even more special and affordable. When we returned a second time for a renovation event, Luis remembered us instantly, greeting us with a big hug and even gave a personal tour, which expressed how much the staff genuinely care about their guests. Later, we had the pleasure of working with the new director, Dara, who went above and beyond to guide us through every step of the wedding-planning process. Whether it was through phone calls, emails, or in-person meetings, she made sure we had everything we needed. She was very polite and informative and always had a smile on her face. On our wedding day, she checked in with us multiple times throughout the day to ensure every detail went smooth and perfect. When talking about the food, all I have to say is it was absolutely phenomenal. Stokesay Castle’s menu offered a variety of delicious options, and while we had to narrow down our wedding-day menu, we also got to sample the rest at our rehearsal dinner the night before. Everything we tried was outstanding. The castle building itself is the perfect blend of modern elegance as well as old-time medieval appeal. It has stunning scenery, a beautiful outdoor ceremony area, snd spacious getting-ready rooms for both bride and groom. The gorgeous grand ballroom comfortably accommodated our 112 guests with room to spare, and it was everything we envisioned. Each time I visited Stokesay Castle I fell in love with it all over again, and that’s when I knew it was the place for us.”

“We got married at RCC on April 5th. This was an amazing venue. They renovated the building from top to bottom and did a lot of outside landscaping. We had our rehearsal dinner at Jacks on the Green in a private room, the food was great and the service was on point. We had our Wedding ceremony inside and it turned out perfect. The dance floor is very big and our guests loved the outside patios. There’s so many great areas here for pictures. Dan, Kayla, and Brianna were great to work with. They’re very professional and quick to respond to any questions or concerns you have. We highly recommend you checking out this venue.”

“The venue is absolutely beautiful. I have used it for several occasions. I love the simplicity so that you can turn the space into whatever your vision is. I lack creativity so having Taylor to talk to about ideas was so helpful. Taylor has a great eye for decor and event planning and is such an asset when you utilize her space. “Our wedding here was just perfect. Dawn had perfect clear communication with us throughout the entire planning process and just was such an amazing help to me. When we started looking for a venue we weren’t sure what our vision was, and we stumbled upon The View from a recommendation from a friend to look at Stoltzfus Homestead & Gardens - so thankful we found this place! When we first reached out Dawn and Brian told us all of their plans for remodeling and creating a bridal suite etc and we trusted the process and saw their vision - which all came together beautifully. We comfortably had 165 guests, were able to have our ceremony outside :) and had so much fun. Dawn was also our day of coordinator - she really can do anything. Everything went incredibly smooth, and she was the biggest help. This woman is just so sweet and genuinely cares about her couples - which is evident through every aspect of the planning process and how she executed the wedding day as well. The required vendors were amazing to work with and fairly priced. We were able to rent items from the design shop to really add to our day. Could not recommend more highly! We just had the most perfect day.”

It was enjoyable working with them. Dianna & Daryl handled the vendors the day of (as well as coordinated with them leading up to the wedding) which helped alleviate stress from us.
