We booked twinspin as our DJ and Photo Booths. DJ 4.5/5 We recently had our wedding and decided to hire Twin Spin Entertainment, which came recommended by our venue. While the owner, Young, was already booked, he introduced us to James, one of his experienced DJs. Our initial meeting with James went smoothly, and we felt confident moving forward with him and Twin Spin. The booking process was straightforward and easily managed through their website's client portal. The client portal also had very thorough questions such as laying out the specific songs for our ceremony, grand entrance, and first dance, etc. The client portal was also how we communicated which songs were on our do-not-play list, ceremony, dinner, and dancing. James arrived early to have everything set up and by the time our ceremony rolled around everything and everyone was ready to go. James did a great job both as an MC and DJ. While there were a couple of minor hiccups with timeline and announcements, he handled them well, keeping the flow of the event smooth. Since we had a lot of our older Asian guests, the dance floor wasn’t always packed, but we appreciated how James kept the energy up and mixed the music to appeal to everyone. The sound quality was great, and there were no major technical issues. All the microphones, speakers, and lights worked perfectly. Overall, we were very happy with Twin Spin and James, and we would definitely recommend them for any wedding or special event! Photo Booth 4.5/5 We knew we wanted to have a photobooth in our August 2024 wedding as it’s always a fun activity having attended previous weddings. Twin Spin offered this option along with their DJ services, and we selected them knowing that it would streamline and alleviate working with multiple vendors. We found their pricing reasonable after comparing other photobooth vendors. On the day of our wedding, the photobooth attendant came early to setup. She wrapped up early and our start and end time was 6-10pm which was a bit early than the original 6:30-10:30pm time. Overall the attendant was cordial and assisted our guests during use. There were slight miscommunications regarding meal and setup time, but otherwise our expectations were met. Twin Spin was able to explain and clarify this miscommunication and we provided feedback for communication for future clients. The photos turned out well, and we hope our guests took advantage of the service. The only feedback we received from our guests was that setup time was a bit slow, which we learned that it was the attendant’s first time setting up. Our vendor had good communication and responded quickly regarding our photobooth selection and receiving the photos.

Sutherland Entertainment was one of our vendors at our wedding this past weekend at the Brazilian Room in Berkeley, CA and we cannot say enough good things about Spencer! He was on the preferred list of vendors for this venue and we can see why. Spencer is detail oriented, professional and a great MC/ DJ. He has a variety of packages that offer AV, DJ-ing and even photo booth services. He is incredibly knowledgeable and we had zero mic feedback, great mic volume and clarity. He was able to read the crowd and kept the party going all night long! Before the wedding he made sure to send over a planning spreadsheet so he knew exactly what it was we wanted. He even helped put up some Chinese lanterns for us on the patio to really bring our vision to life. Day of, he checked in with us the whole day to make sure we were feeling good. We had a small issue with a table falling over and he was the first vendor to come over and reassure us that everything was going to be fine. Overall, Sutherland Entertainment is the DJ to beat and should be your first choice when looking for a full-service, awesome party.

This review for Zeb (and the whole Sounds Elevated Team) is long overdue. Zeb is not only an incredible musician in his own right but plays the role of musical conductor with equal panache. A true “Jack of All Trades.” Some of the many hats he wore for our wedding include: -He played solo guitar for our ceremony -Lined up a jazz quartet for the happy hour -Setup the party lighting (party but classy) for the reception -Setup a photo booth for guests to take fun photos (a big hit btw) -DJ’d with a live accompaniment combo for the reception - stayed up way later than we asked him to, and DJ our afterparty (which was a VERY different vibe than the reception). He was hustling for easily 10 hours straight. And every single element he contributed to the festivities was top tier. My older cousin, a professional musician for many years, was blown away by the level of talent. It’s been almost two years since the wedding and we still get compliments about the entertainment. He and his team went above and beyond. Easily the best “value” for anything we spent money on for the wedding. I strongly recommend meeting with Zeb and gearing his philosophy/approach to weddings/events.

We had an outdoor wedding and needed a DJ. Rick made everything easy for us. He provided the sound system for the ceremony and made sure everyone knew how to use the correct microphones. He played the specific songs we requested for some key moments and activities we prepared. Rick also connected us to a photo booth rental, which entertained a lot of guests and gave us extra photos! The Celebration DJ was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From our very first interaction, they were easy to communicate with, highly organized, and clearly very experienced in their craft. On the day of the wedding, they delivered an excellent performance that kept our guests dancing all night long. They were fun, high energy, and really played to the crowd, spinning a groovy mix of tunes that had everyone moving. At a couple points, the order of our events had to be changed on the fly, but the DJ was able to seamlessly roll with the punches and suggest the best way to adjust the schedule. They also did a fantastic job as the MC, expertly directing all of our guests and keeping the night flowing smoothly. We couldn't have been happier with the Celebration DJ and would highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding. Our venue and photographer both said they had never seen that many people on the dance floor before, a testament to how amazing he was!

David was a preferred vendor for our venue. After reading all the amazing reviews and our initial contact, we booked David for his DJ and Photobooth rental services (which also included a monogram projection to add a little special touch!). David provides reasonable packages and is very professional. As wedding planning could be really stressful, we naturally had many questions for David during the initial interview. His communication stood out to us because he answered all of our questions patiently and made sure to reach out and jot down all the small details that are often overlooked. In preparation to our wedding, David made sure to highlight and communicate what works well and what doesn't in his experience, which was greatly appreciated. During our planning session, we communicated to David our concerns about having a dryer/slower dance floor as well as loud noise levels. David was very encouraging and understanding. On wedding day, David and his wife (who attended the Photobooth) made sure everything ran smoothly. David consistently checked in with us as well. We appreciated that he heard our concerns and catered towards us. At the end of the night, our guests wanted to kept the party going because David knew how to engage them and our guests had fun (which is what we hoped for!). One last item to add, the Photobooth quality was awesome. All the pictures were printed quick and in high resolution. The lighting was great as well. We were able to get the link to all of our photos within a couple days. I highly recommend David and will keep him in mind for future events!

I found DJ Daniel online, read lots of reviews, then decided to book him based on our phone consultation. He was very clear with me about the type of gear he was using, the insurance coverage, how much I would be paying for deposit and overall price, and the music request for the special dances. Then he kept the music going and myself and all the guests danced the night away. I feel I got my money's worth and then some. I plan to book him again for an upcoming birthday celebration.
