When the bride shared her vision, I immediately thought of Ashanti because I’ve worked with her before and absolutely love her work. She’s one of the rare designers who can balance creativity with realism while delivering flawless execution. For this wedding, we had to transform an inspiration photo into a glam-style red wedding design, and Ashanti absolutely delivered. The bride wanted florals showcased inside acrylic tiers for the cake—a unique and challenging concept. These acrylic tiers had to be sourced from London, measured precisely, customized with Ashanti’s florals, and transported from Virginia to Florida and survive 3-4 days. Not only did the floral design make the journey, but it also held up beautifully throughout the wedding. The result? Stunning florals that tied the cake seamlessly into the overall wedding design. The bride was overjoyed, the guests were amazed, and I was blown away. Together, we created a once-in-a-lifetime piece for a deserving couple and seeing the bride’s ecstatic reaction made all the effort worth it. Ashanti’s talent speaks for itself, but what truly sets her apart is her professionalism. She’s communicative, detail-oriented, and incredibly down-to-earth. She knew exactly how to bring the vision to life and worked closely with me to ensure every detail was perfect. Honestly, I couldn’t have pulled this off without her expertise. Good on J.J. Ash for requesting reviews from vendors and guests—it’s a smart move that highlights the joy they create for couples. I’ve seen Ashanti and her team work tirelessly through weddings, sometimes staying until the very end (I’m usually there past the cake cutting, haha!). By the time the dust settles, the couple is married, their photos are stunning, and their videos capture every magical moment. Reflecting on those moments reminds me how much of a privilege it is to be part of such special events. As a vendor, I appreciated how communicative and organized Ashanti was throughout the process. She asked all the right questions, provided clear instructions, and made herself available if I needed clarification. Unfortunately, not everyone in this industry is that dependable. They took on a super difficult task due to the nature of the venue -- an DIY outdoor center with no cell phone reception, and key sites separated by a 0.3 mile gravel path, plus literally 7 different locations for all the different events (rehearsal, his and hers getting ready, ceremony, reception, cocktail hour, and food storage cabin). Oh, also the venue team has never hosted a wedding before!!! B&K handled it perfectly. I truly don't know what we would have done without them. Thank you for helping make it such a truly unique and special day.

I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am that I hired Dora to be our Day-Of Coordinator. It was by far the best money we spent on the entire wedding. It was such a relief to have her help during the final stretch (we hired her about 1 month before the wedding) and we wish we would have started working with her sooner. She was organized, knowledgeable, and professional. We were originally supposed to have our wedding under an outdoor pavilion, but there was a tornado warning that day and the pavilion flooded. The venue coordinator decided that we would be moving up the hill to their indoor space that luckily wasn’t being rented at the same time. Dora was able to manage all our other vendors and get our décor up the hill during a crazy storm. With only a few hours’ notice, she recreated my vision in a room that I had only seen once and had decided against almost immediately. The wedding flowed as if we had planned for this outcome the whole time and Dora kept her cool despite everything. I truly don’t know what we would have done without her. We were so thrilled with the result and having someone I could trust to iron out the many issues we encountered was invaluable

We hired Alexis's team to be the day-of coordinator for our wedding reception and are so pleased that we did. She was helpful in making suggestions, decisions and changes and coordinating with various vendors when confusion came up. It was a huge relief to know that she would be the one to expertly handle those last minute issues, and she was able to solve several of those issues (unsurprisingly, I made a few mistakes). Our wedding was small and casual, and despite her usual role running highly produced weddings, she was supportive, encouraging, and flexible to roll with our vision. A week before when a couple of unexpected issues came up, Alexis met with me at the venue over a drink to talk things through again and provided authentic support that turned around my whole energy about it all. Her team member Nicole was our onsite coordinator and she took my materials and impeccably delivered on the look and setup at the venue. It was a huge value to have someone prepared to listen to what our vision was and then make some of the last decisions and judgment calls to get it there -- because my husband and I are decidedly NOT event professionals.
