Trying to pick a photographer was an overwhelming decision for us due to the fact that there are so many different styles and we weren’t sure what we were looking for. But once we talked to Kristen on the phone we knew she was the perfect fit for us. Her energy over the phone was so infectious and made us excited to get in front of her camera. Our first time meeting her was at our engagement shoot. We decided to go with a sunrise beach session and Kristen showed up with energy and ready to capture our love. She was down to do any pose and was always hyping us up on how perfect our pictures were coming out. We had so much fun and were just able to relax and be ourselves. This all translated into the beautiful pictures we received from Kristen. From the time of our engagement shoot (July 2023) to our wedding (September 2024) Kristen was always checking in to see how we were doing and how excited she was to shoot our big day. It was so awesome to have constant check ins with her!! The day of our wedding (9/21/24) was so amazing thanks to Kristen. “My husband and I hired Aprea Media, aka Sarah and John, to be our photographers for our wedding. Their package came with an engagement photo session, which we did shortly after hiring them. The engagement session was so much fun! We went to the place we had our first date, LA Burdick, and Sarah captured so many cute photos of us drinking hot chocolate together. We then walked around Cambridge and had some really fun impromptu photos at a flower shop. We loved the engagement photos so much we used them on our save-the-dates and incorporated them into the wedding decor! It was so awesome having Sarah and John both capture all of our special moments on the day of the wedding, from getting ready (BOTH me and my husband have a bunch of awesome getting ready photos!), our first look and portraits before the ceremony, the ceremony itself, cocktail hour, reception festivities, and incredibly artistic details shots. They are both so much fun and offer cute suggestions for poses, but they also go with the flow if you have fun ideas you want to try! We got a lot of really sweet unplanned photos throughout the night. I didn't know anything about different photography styles before we hired them (we just liked their work and they were super friendly), but they really are so experienced with candid/documentary style photography. We love having photos where we can see all the sincere emotions on our faces from laughing, crying with joy, and pure bliss, in addition to our more posed portrait-style photos. Sarah's editing is so dreamy across all our engagement and wedding photos. We now have our walls at home covered in their photography - they did such an amazing job capturing all the fun parts of our day! As a really sweet bonus, they recorded video of our first dance and ceremony upon our request, along with a lot of fun highlights that we get to watch to relive the memories now. “I seriously can’t put into words how amazing she was and cannot recommend her enough. She was great to have around on our wedding day and I am so happy with our photos. The groomsmen didn't have their act together, even though she provides a detailed schedule, and she was totally chill about it and was like no biggie I'll be back in 30. My fiancé commented on how awesome she was (didn't comment on any other vendors) and one of his groomsmen did too (see first pic). This was before we even saw the pics and they turned out better than I could have imagined. At one point I told her I was done taking pics I wanted to go talked to people and dance, so was a little worried if we got enough shots, but was blown away with the results. I also told her I didn't care that much about getting ready pics but wanted a lot of guest candids and she delivered. She also got way more getting ready pics than I even expected. We didn't want to spend money on a second photographer and she was fine with that and got all the pics we wanted on her own. She truly listened to what we wanted and was incredible at communication and organization. On top of that, she is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and truly a calming presence during all of the chaos on wedding day. I feel sooo lucky we found her.”

“Julia is truly the BEST photographer out there and she makes everyone look SO GOOD!! We booked her for both our engagement session and our wedding because we loved her so much! She is so skillful at finding beautiful angles and working with natural lighting, and she was great at directing us with suggested poses that didn’t look forced or unnatural. She was also really easy to work with: we met up beforehand to communicate our vision and discuss the kinds of photographs that we wanted for the engagement session and we did that again for our wedding. On our wedding day Julia brought her husband Leo who is also a photographer to assist her and they came early in the morning to begin taking scenery photos, details, and other things while the rest of us got ready. She was there with us throughout the entire day all the way til the end of the evening and she went out with us to take some sunset photos in the middle of the reception, which turned out so beautifully! Finally, Julia was super prompt at sending us the final photographs, which I know she worked hard on because there were A LOT! “My photographer was the vendor I cared most about - I love photos, and you are going to have these wedding photos capturing those once in a lifetime moments forever! Initially I was nervous to go with Allison because I did not know anybody personally who had used her, but I loved her photos and read lots of great reviews from people online. I went ahead and booked her anyways and it was the best decision I made for our wedding! Learn from me - trust the random people you don't know online (like me!) saying that she is AMAZING!!! We did an engagement shoot and she was super accommodating with changing dates last minute - the weather wasn't looking good for our scheduled date and she knew how badly I wanted sunset photos, so she went out of her way and offered me a spot that opened up for her on a different day last minute! I had a large bridal party with lots of big personalities and lots of family for photos, but Allison coordinated everyone seamlessly and blended right in with her laid back and enthusiastic personality. She always asked us before trying to pull us away for couple photos and made sure to grab us at the perfect time for golden hour/sunset photos - my favorite! Truly couldn't have asked for more from her that day. At the end of the wedding night, she even sent me TWO sneak peak edited photos which was so exciting to see. Allison sent the rest of our sneak peak photos very shortly after the wedding and there were TONS - way more than I was expecting. And then our full album was also delivered super quickly thereafter. I can't tell you how many times my husband and I "OMG-ed", laughed, cried, and literally gasped while scrolling through our album for the first time. Allison captured every moment perfectly with so many natural and candid photos (while also getting the more standard, classic, posed shots too). There are so many photos that capture so many little moments between my husband and me throughout the day that I truly will cherish forever.
