When I’m not behind the camera, or running around on Wedding Days, you can nearly always find me cuddling up with Poe, our 2 year old Boston Terrier. My husband and I are also huge travel enthusiasts. Between the two of us, we have experienced 45 States, 7 National Parks, and 13 Countries. We are always ready for our next adventure, and hold a special place in our hearts for the couples we get to experience beautiful new-to-us corners of the world!

I'm a Maryland native, a big Ravens fan, and I love love love my little "Smalltimore Baltimore"! I'm fun-loving and spontaneous with a fast & furious shooting style! I can hold my own against your crazy groomsmen & their jokes, and I'll feel like I'm BFF with you & your bridesmaids by the end of the day! I have a newfound love for gardening & in addition to all the vegetables, I've been growing Ranunculus, Anemones, and Garden Roses to pretty up my patio! I spend most of my free time volunteering as a photographer/dog walker at my local animal shelter - BARCS, and the hubs is never surprised when I come home with a new foster dog!

And I even wrote a journal entry at the age of 7 stating I would someday be an artist. In a black and white composition notebook, I poorly scribbled the words: “I don’t want to be famous, but I want people to want my art.”

I followed her with my iPhone as she was blowing dandelions and dancing around, it was a really artistic moment that I was able to capture just by using my phone. I bought my first 35mm film camera at a flea market when I was in high school. With that old Pentax K1000, I took my first film photos and learned how to transfer what I saw through the lens into a frozen moment captured in a photo. From the start, I've always kept my focus on people. I love to capture someone laughing, or the way parents engage in the wondrous curiosity of their kids, or simply someone just looking back at me. Photography isn't just something I do, it's an extension of the way I see the world.
