My name is Myles Katherine. I'm a photographer to my core and I am so lucky to have the opportunity to do what I love! Through my job, I have met so many incredible couples, artists, models, families and friends. After living in Portland, Oregon from 2012-2019, I relocated to Richmond, Virginia. However, I'm open to traveling anywhere and everywhere! I cannot make it through the day without coffee, my cat and (obviously) my cameras. I grew up as one of the youngest cousins in a big extended family, and holiday gatherings have always been a lively affair. At the dinner table I learned that my favorite part the season was hearing stories be told and watching my family laugh & cry. Since then I've been dedicated to helping others tell their stories, at first with my academic pursuits, and then with my love of cameras and the magic they can create.

The Poe Museum's Enchanted Garden makes for a small event venue that is absolutely poetic! Edgar Allan Poe considered gardens to be one of the highest art forms. Inspired by his poem "To One in Paradise," the Museum's Enchanted Garden was created in 1922 to pay tribute to this passion. The Masters of the Ceremony is owned and operated by Adolphus "Danja Mowf" Maples. The son of a 70's soul singer, Maples enjoyed sifting through and listening to his father’s records, 8-tracks and reel-to-reels as a child. After falling in love with hip-hop in the 80s, he began producing songs in the 90s while utilizing his father's records. Shortly thereafter, he signed a major record deal as a rapper, joining the likes of Missy Elliot and Aaliyah. Today he is a professional radio DJ and the perfect person to trust with your special day.
