Welcome. The Grounds of North Star is located on the path of our Lady of Guadalupe. At the center of the 50-acre farm stands the world’s largest statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Mary’s likeness stands 50 feet tall and is covered by over 450,000 mosaic tiles. In front of the statue lies the LAKE OF HOPE, surrounded by the world’s largest illuminated fifteen-decade rosary. At night, the view is awe-inspiring as the beads light up the night sky.

Sugar Lake Lodge is a 135 acre estate with a seven acre private lake surrounded by Lake County Metro Parks. It features a gorgeous 6,700 square foot lodge & event center with an 1,800 square ft. private suite fully equipped with kitchen, fire place, and elegant bathroom all with a slight rustic feel. Our 40X60 open pavilion can accommodate a large reception and celebration with space for dancing. There are unlimited open spaces for guests to roam and socialize without feeling crowded. It sits on land surrounded by an old-growth hardwood forest with oak, cherry, sugar maple, hickory, and ash trees throughout the property. The property is home to deer, wild turkey, and many species of small animals and birds. Goodell Gardens & Homestead is a botanical garden and arboretum located in beautiful Edinboro, Pennsylvania.
