DJ Trey is THE BEST DJ!!! I wish we had even more time on the dance floor to keep letting him mix because he’s a genuinely fantastic DJ! Not just a DJ who sets up an iPhone or Spotify and lets it ride mindlessly, but a DJ who reads the crowd, takes input from the bride and groom, and uses his skill and best judgement to provide music that gets everyone on the dance floor. Literally everyone at our wedding was on their feet for dancing and loved all the music DJ Trey played! He also was fantastic in making sure all of the music played on their appropriate cues and was well-prepared. We had the pleasure of having The Moon Units perform at our wedding, and they were absolutely amazing! We enjoyed working with Dylan, he was incredibly accommodating and responsive throughout the entire process. From the initial planning stages to our big day, Dylan and the band were very professional, helping us sort out all the specific details well in advance. One of the highlights was when they specially learned a song for our first dance. It was such a personal touch that made the moment unforgettable. They also performed a beautiful acoustic rendition of "Can't Help Falling in Love" for our ceremony, which was perfect. They kept the energy high and the good vibes all night long. They curated a great set list for us and played a wonderful mix of oldies, classic rock hits, and modern pop that we and our guests loved. We can't recommend The Moon Units enough. Lily Press and Simon Linn-Gerstein are truly REMARKABLE. We hired them to play the harp and cello at our wedding 2 weeks ago at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside and we could not be more pleased. Lily is A DREAM to work with - she is thoughtful, detail-oriented and so talented. All of her email correspondence were well articulated and prepared, the phone conversations we had with her were a delight, she is thorough and always prepared and organized. Lily and Simon provided us with a complementary song list to choose from, filling in the blanks for us along the way, when we needed help, and even created a custom song ("Simply the best") for our Ceremony! We LOVED it. In addition to all of this, we appreciated the small details - Lily went as far as to ask what her and Simon should wear to the event so they could be coordinated to the wedding "look" we were going for. Tiger is the best DJ ive ever seen at a wedding. Ive been to a million. He can tailor the playlist hugely based on what you like and keep things fresh. He also has no issue picking the perfect songs to lure people out onto the dance floor and KEEP THEM THERE. also his cocktail hour music was soo fun and dinner music was fantastic. He's also just super flexible if you need to add songs or swap them or change up the schedule. Hes just the best energy and super funny also. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of music and will know and have any song you ever request. And if it just came out like two days ago he can quickly download it also. To sum it up, looking for a cool DJ is almost impossible, this guy is going to give you a good DJ set without any effort from you, he will just bring the party with him.

The Lucky Devils Band absolutely made our wedding reception! From our initial phone call with Meredith, we knew we were in excellent hands. She took the time to thoroughly understand our vision and musical tastes, making thoughtful suggestions along the way. Communication was prompt, fun, and Meredith was so approachable throughout the planning process. On the big day, the band blew us away with their incredible talent and ability to perfectly execute our song requests, from jazz to oldies to classic rock. As musicians ourselves, we were so impressed by their skill level and experience and professionalism. During cocktail hour, two musicians played jazz, then they switched to rock mode for the reception. They truly made it feel like our own personal concert and kept people on the dance floor for literally 3 hours! The energy was palpable from their very first note, and their song selections kept guests of all ages dancing all night long. They ended the evening with “Purple Rain” by Prince and it made my life. We can't recommend the Lucky Devils Band highly enough - they were total professionals and our biggest splurge, but SO worth it I’d do it a million times over!!

Before choosing Makai, my partner and I watched videos of at least a dozen DJs. Based on the energy and interactions we saw from Makai, we knew he was the one for us and our wedding day. From our first video call with him, we knew we had struck gold. What was meant to be a one hour zoom call turned into three hours of laughing and sharing stories as if we were old friends who had been separated by time. Makai was patient at every step in our process. He came prepared - he provided us a very helpful packet which enabled us to better organize our event. My partner and I did have many of our own ideas, and Makai graciously worked with every single idea of ours. When our ideas were incomplete or needed tweaking, he came up with creative solutions that incorporated our wants and his experience. After getting off our zoom call with Makai, my partner and I shared a big sigh of relief. In months of planning, most things had been stressful, but working with Makai felt almost too easy. We were very well taken care of. On the day of our event, Makai was early. Makai generously helped with things that were not at all his responsibility. Makai was loved by our guest; he contributed to a great vibe. At our request, Makai helped us stay on track for the whole event, and because of that, everything continued smoothly throughout the evening. Every time I looked at Makai, he had a beaming smile on his face. Even while continuing to enjoy the festivities, Makai’s music was on point. Amongst a handful of other vendors who were also awesome, Makai stands out because his contributions to our day were so impactful. I can’t recommend Makai enough.

I am writing this review wayyyy too late (a little over 2 years after my wedding) and it has been eating me away inside because I need to give Michelle(aka Haute Mobile Disco) all the praise she deserves. As a wedding planner myself, I had worked with Michelle and Ian previously and found them to be so sweet and easy to work with as well as extremely professional. All of their paperwork to fill out in advance for which genres of music I wanted was super easy and helpful to get exactly the vibes we were looking for. They created the PERFECT playlist and had my guests on the dancefloor literally the entire night. I added a live Saxophone which was the perfect addition. He was incredible. It created such a fun and interactive experience for my guests that they are still raving about. Michelle was so flexible with all my crazy song choices, a few which weren’t easy to find, as well as my idea to have a re-introduction when I chopped off my hair during the reception and came back out in a sequin jumpsuit. She did the perfect introduction and made the dancefloor feel like a night at the Grammy’s instead of a humble backyard wedding. Cannot recommend Michelle and her team enough, they were everything we could have asked for and brought the best energy and vibes we were looking for!

We hired Mike and Tiffany for our wedding on 6/11/22. From the beginning, Mike was always very responsive. He gave us a a music sample that included a bunch of throw back hits from the late 90s and early 00s. On our wedding day, he played so many good songs. Many of the guests stayed until the very end and danced the night away. Tiffany was also a very good emcee. Thanks Mike and Tiffany!

Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!

Can’t imagine our wedding without Tyler! He brought so much energy and joy. He was so intentional in making the night perfectly tailored to us. We danced for 4 hours straight and the dance floor was constantly packed. The saxophone is the best addition too - the second I walked into cocktail hour people were talking about how amazing it was and it only got better once he started playing and dancing with us on the dance floor. Could not recommend him enough!!
