As seen on HGTV's Frozen in Design, The Mod House is a wedding venue located 90 minutes from Manhattan in Ellenville, New York. Celebrate your big day at a luxurious midcentury modern retreat in the Catskill Mountains with a secret speakeasy inside it. The 4200-square-foot Mod House is an architectural gem built in 1959 by a follower of the renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The open-plan layout and floor-to-ceiling windows connect the spacious interior to the natural world outside. You can tie the knot on the lawn with a lush forested backdrop. After the ceremony, revel with your guests in Love, Velma, an underground speakeasy and dance club within the venue. The speakeasy comes fully equipped with a bar, projector, stage, and lights. Love, Velma is wheelchair accessible and can host up to 100 guests, with parking available for up to 40 cars. Four bedrooms are available if you prefer to stay on-site on the wedding night. A large open kitchen can accommodate caterers.

The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame is housed in a magnificent Tudor-style stable, built in 1913. The museum is located in the historic downtown Goshen, New York. Its elegant and timeless Haughton Hall can accommodate up to 125 guests. Clients booking weddings, anniversaries and other celebrations have a choice of the Veranda with views of the gardens, Banquet Room with its own glimmering fire or, weather permitting, the gardens with a white party tent if needed. The menu varies from Italian to French to American, all done with a Scandinavian touch. Mikael and Alicia will meet with you to discuss the logistics and "tailor-make" a menu to suit your taste.

The building dates back to 1837, a three-level structure which was built by William Nelson. Peekskill lawyer, Congressman, and friend to Abraham Lincoln. A small stage, built on the 3rd floor in 1870, was identified as the “Dramatic Hall.” This emblematic building had been abandoned for about 20 years and fallen into disrepair until 2012, a complete renovation took place restoring the 1870-era theater. The Dramatic Hall serves as a space to host weddings, private parties, plays, live music performances, and more.

Akindale Farm is one of a kind. Situated on 310 picturesque acres on Quaker Hill in the center of the Hudson Valley, Akindale offers a backdrop of rolling hills, herds of stunning racehorses, incredible vistas, and a wealth of different locations on the property to suit your special event. Akindale is not a typical wedding venue; but it is an exceptional place for your wedding. Our core mission is to rescue and care for retired Thoroughbred racehorses and we have over 120 on site. We are working farm, not a manufactured showplace. Therein lies our natural beauty. We welcome all types of ceremonies, and respect individual creativity. As a nonprofit, we are able to fund our work with the horses through offering our spaces and as such, your location fee will be completely tax-deductible. Constructed soon after the Great Fire of 1902, The United Bank Building was built to house two banks whose previous buildings had been destroyed, New Milford Savings Bank and the New Milford First National Bank. The two banks immediately organized to rebuild, quickly agreeing in principal to build a joint facility on the site of the New England House, a locally well known tavern and inn located at the corner of Bank and Main Street. For most of its life, the building had been used in some form of a bank, but had been largely under-used in recent decades, and had fallen into disrepair. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and taken over by Village Green Investments in 2015. After 9 months of renovations, the building became 19Main. Throughout renovations, we strived for modern amenities with historic elegance; three vaults remain from the building’s former bank days.

This national historic site was built in 1896. All the original details have been preserved. The House can accommodate seated events of up to 200 guests, or a small, relaxed brunch in the gardens. White wainscoting adorns the rooms throughout the mansion, while floral wallpaper and neutral colored walls create a traditional look. Chandeliers glitter from the ceiling and delicately designed furniture grace the rooms. Outside, their gardens are flawlessly landscaped, for a romantic ceremony setting. Nestled in the manicured landscape are a gazebo, pergola, and fountain for doses of whimsy. Cocktail hour can be held on the charming wrap-around porch and Grecian columns add a stately, upscale touch to the façade. The estate’s event specialists can provide guidance throughout the planning process. Bridal showers can also be hosted on the historic grounds. Open Farmhouse is located on 300 acres of protected land in Redding, Connecticut. Just an hour and a half drive from New York City, it’s easily accessible by car or short shuttle from metro north. Built in 1840, the historic Federal Style house sits at the center of the farm, with sweeping views of the surrounding fields and forests. Restored true to its era, it’s a grand yet inviting space for gatherings of 10 to 50 people. Five private bedrooms provide a good night’s sleep, with simple furnishings and comfortable mattresses.
