After our Upper East Side ceremony, our wedding guests took the ferry to Dumbo and enjoyed the cocktail hour at Bridgepoint Rooftop. And while they loved the Dumbo Loft for our reception, I think the rooftop view was the hit of the day. This space is all marble inside and truly beautiful. Between that and the city views, we did basically zero decor for this space. There are some nice bistro lights already set up on the rooftop patio. There was plenty of space for our caterers to set up several food tables and our bartenders to set up a bar table. We brought in some hightop tables for both the indoor and outdoor spaces. There was potential for rain so we did have to book a tent at the last minute (unexpected, awful expense), but we ended up not needing it! Just be aware there is no awning or anything in the event of rain and we knew we'd have too many people for just the indoor space. The BK Venues folks were absolutely fantastic and communicative. They gave us a deal for booking both the Rooftop and Dumbo Loft! Bridgepoint Rooftop was amazing, and really added such a fun and special variety to the events of the day. Thanks BK Venues!!!

Was hoping to get professional photos before leaving this review, but guest photos will suffice and I'll come back later with more. Shell's Loft was the perfect spot for our wedding and everything came together there so well with minimal stress! Steve and the entire Shell's Loft team responded to every phone call and email quickly, they were extremely flexible with our schedule, getting into the space, accommodating the deliveries and vendors, and went way above and beyond to help make the day come together. They were able to flex a little bit with the bar package so I could get one of my favorite cocktails on the menu, were happy to help us out with furniture, and at one point when we were dealing with an electrical issue (with our equipment, not there's) they even brought in an electrician to help us resolve it at the last minute! They have a roster of experienced vendors that we tapped into for lighting and music who knew the space well, worked quickly, and delivered an incredible experience to the guests. The sun came in through the skylights and large windows during the ceremony and when the sun went down and the lighting came on, the space absolutely came alive for the party. The pictures are great, but even they don't do it justice. Steve knows the area well and was helpful advising on parking, afterparty spots, had great ideas for food and dessert options, and was an all around enthusiastic collaborator. I could ramble about this further, but suffice to say, they do an exceptional job at being responsive and flexible, and they brainstormed and collaborated with us on ideas for the event and were happy to help us with solutions and access to vendors and experts.

The Prospect Park Boathouse was our absolute dream venue and the perfect setting for our big day! We had been torn between having a wedding more in nature or more in the city, and the Boathouse was the perfect blend between the two. Although the food wasn't our top priority, it ended up being a highlight of the day (especially the bacon wrapped dates). Throughout planning, Elena was very communicative and quick to respond to any email or question we had. Many of our guests commented on how elegant and classic New York the Boathouse was as a venue, and that's exactly what made us fall in love with it in the first place. We're also very excited that they recently opened a cafe out of the Boathouse during the day as well so that we can go back and relive our special day over and over again. This was the most amazing experience ever! We had our wedding at Threes Brewing at their Greenpoint location and from start to finish, Angie was exceptional and so, so, SO kind and helpful to us. She was extremely responsive to all our questions and concerns, and always made the effort to respond as soon as possible. The wedding industry and wedding planning process is so tough and stressful, but Angie went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of and she accommodated every concern and change we had. Not to mention, the food & drinks were amazing! Our guests still rave about the food and cocktails they were served, and every person says that the food and drinks were the best they've ever had at a wedding, which is super high praise! We could not have done this without Angie and the team at Threes Brewing, and would really suggest either of their locations as a perfect wedding venue for a couple looking for something that's intimate and cozy, and have amazing food and drinks!

Madeline's is such a great venue! We had our wedding after-party here, and everyone had the most amazing time! First and foremost, the owner Brenton is one of the nicest, coolest guys you will ever meet. He is so accommodating and so willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had a good experience. He was extremely flexible and easy and fun to work with, and his great energy really made our event feel so special. The venue itself is a really wonderful place; such a cool vibe and interesting space. We had our event in the room upstairs which is really beautiful. As soon as we saw it we were in love with it! It's so classy and well-decorated and perfect for a fun party. And the cocktails were so delicious! They are creative, unique and tasted so good. Our guests are still talking about what a fun time they had. Overall working with Brenton and having our party at Madeline's was an incredible experience. We couldn't have been happier! We will definitely be regulars there. We highly recommend this place!!!

I got married in this space January 20th with a party of 45. A perfect amount because we had the perfect amount of space to eat, dance, and drink. The decorations and sound system along with the set up made it feel intimate and about us with those we loved. Very creative space and we even had a fun photobooth area. Picking M. Wells as my wedding venue was the best decision I’ve ever made. You feel like you’re part of their family the moment you reach out. Sarah was so easy going and positive and flexible. Everything we asked, she said yes to. They are so supportive of whatever you want, whatever will make your day special and unique to you. The space is stunning and unique and can accommodate the ceremony and reception with different configurations to accommodate small to medium weddings. We had 75 guests and it was ideal. It’s intimate, cozy and just so special. The neighborhood is fun and trendy and makes for amazing pictures. And I promise you will not get better food for the price anywhere else. It’s the best deal in NYC. There is no set menu to choose from - you tell the chef what you like and they come up with amazing, inventive dishes, personalized to you and the season. The food was incredible and impressive and bountiful. We even had a poutine course after dessert! All my guests said my wedding was the most fun, unique wedding they had been to and everyone raved about the food. It was pure magic and love from start to finish. Renaissance Event Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, the team was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. They answered all of our questions promptly and were very flexible in accommodating our requests. On the day of the wedding, the staff was attentive and ensured everything ran smoothly. The space itself was beautiful, with elegant decor and ample room for our guests to mingle. It rained the day of my wedding, we originally wanted to use the outdoor space for the ceremony and take photos outside but were unable, the team had everything set up for the ceremony indoors and all my photos turned out great despite the weather. The food was also delicious. We are so grateful to the Renaissance Event Hall team for helping to make our wedding day so special.

One of the best Venues in Brooklyn! Mariam and I had the best wedding night experience at Luo’s Events Space. We celebrated in April 30, 2024. All the staff were very professional, friendly and supportive. We were really nervous about our wedding night but everything went super smooth. Our family and friends gave us a lot compliments! We really had a great. You won’t regret choosing this space!

We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at Rutherfurd Hall earlier this year, and we can't speak highly enough of the experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is breathtaking—elegantly designed with gorgeous views, and it has an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and intimate. It was everything we dreamed of and more. Especially when we had a lot of challenges finding a venue for an Indian wedding to fit all your needs! A huge part of what made our day so unforgettable was the incredible service provided by the Director, Nick Serraino. From our very first meeting, Nick went above and beyond to ensure all your requests were accepted. He was incredibly kind, and always available to answer questions (which we had many of) or offer help! The staff at Hampton Inn were helpful through every phase of the process as we planned the event from another state, from booking rooms with special needs for children, to help picking the perfect room and room for the rehearsal dinner, to transportation help to the wedding venue. Rezaine and the rest of the staff were always willing to answer questions, make changes and add special touches to the room for the dinner. The room and view were perfect, and the view spectacular! We won’t be planning another wedding there, but would highly recommend it to anyone considering the space

My wife and I got married in an intimate brunch ceremony in the Garden room and it was absolutely everything we wanted. The space is beautiful with tons of natural light and we were able to comfortably fit our 20 guests photographer, second shooter, and planner. The staff were super helpful and beyond friendly - our guests never had to wait around to flag someone down and they were all very happy with the steady flow of drinks and food. The staff also quickly accommodated our request to bring out many orders of the famous pancakes (which really are that good) with the rest of the food (rather than after) and did some great jigsawing with all the food on the table. They also helpfully packaged up all the leftovers into a bunch of bags, allowing our us and our guests to take home extra food. Would highly recommend Sunday in Brooklyn, particularly if you are looking for a brunch time event. Only downside was the flooring in the Garden room is wood with a decent amount of room between planks and my heels kept getting stuck between them.

Where to even begin! First off, my wife and I had a fairly large wedding for NYC, roughly 200 people, so when we started to look at venues, we were so nervous about what we would find. Rule of Thids was actually the first venue we saw, and we were blown away by the space. If you’re renting out the full venue, you get access to the entire restaurant, plus the event space, as well as the outdoor area. It makes the flow of the wedding so nice, so everyone wasn’t crammed into one space as they were trying to flip it for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing. We were also able to rent out the photo studio attached to the sake shop to get ready in, so we were on-site all day, which was AMAZING. We could easily discuss things with our day-of coordinator, florist, etc., and the space was so large and had impeccable light (our makeup artist and hair stylist were super happy with it!). We chose to use the venue coordinator, Julie, as our day of coordinator, and we cannot say enough good things about her. She was incredibly responsive, super organized, and comes from the wedding industry, so she brought up things that we didn’t even think to consider for the day of that were so helpful. Beyond that, she was so pleasant to work with and just had an amazing, chill vibe that everyone wants from their coordinator on the wedding day. It was also amazing that she works at the venue, so she knew all the ins and outs of the space and could easily coordinate with our other vendors. She helped ensure the bridal party was in the right places at the right time, moved people from room to room when needed, and helped us stay on track with the flow of the wedding, which was perfect and so seamless. She and the ROT team set up the entire space exactly as we envisioned, and everything looked beautiful! The venue is honestly perfect for a wedding. We were able to use private dining spaces in the venue for a photobooth and coat closet, plenty of bathrooms (not something you think about until you go to a wedding with too few!), an amazing outdoor space for guests to cool down/get away from the noise, a huge dance floor area, spacious dining room, and so many bars for our guests to go to. The staff were all amazing, endlessly refilling drinks and food, and everyone was incredibly nice. Even after all of the amazing things above, the best part about Rule of Thirds is the food. From the cocktail hour to the dessert, this food is amazing and well beyond typical wedding standards. We had so many guests tell us how good everything was, and we were told this was the first wedding at the venue where every single canape and raw bar item was eaten, so our guests were very happy! (if you can, splurge on the raw bar because it was so good!!) After the ceremony, they set up a spot for us to sample all the canapes and raw bar items, which we were super thankful for since we would never have eaten anything otherwise. We also had a very specific request for a mazeman noodle dish we had eaten when we toured the space a year prior, and the chef and team made it happen for us, which was AMAZING and so incredibly delicious. If you’re looking for a wedding venue and considering Rule of Thirds, DO IT! We wish we could relive the day all over again because it was so amazing, and we will forever be hoping someone else we know gets married here so we can experience something similar again.

Last month we hosted our 125 person wedding at the Wythe Hotel in our local Brooklyn. We could not have asked for a more beautiful city venue or a more helpful team. Our sales director JD and our event coordinator Cassie are such pros-- both veterans of the NYC wedding industry-- and they helped make the day a real breeze. At the Wythe you really get what you pay for. We had a Saturday "off-season" wedding so the F&B minimums were high but easily met with our guest count. Our 395 a head included a premium open bar, multiple signature cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, a market station, a plated family style meal, coffee service, a wedding cake, all hospitality staff, coat check, A/V team, and hotel discounts. If we hadn't wanted to add extra florals and decor, the space truly would've been gorgeous bare. The Wythe team helped us manage the rest of our vendors and recommended some if we needed. We stayed onsite in one of their giant suites, which was perfect for getting ready and for first look photos. Cannot recommend this vendor enough!!

My wife and I were determined to have our wedding in New York City and researched a bunch of venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Radegast was the last place that we visited, and we put our deposit down the day after our walk through and ended the search. Sean managed the booking for us, and we felt his attention and thoroughness immediately. This was in stark contrast to the apathy that we felt at other places; almost like we needed to work for any enthusiasm from the venue about booking with them. We felt “wined and dined” by Sean and super confident that he would take the event as seriously as we were. We ended up booking The Bier House space with the buffet food option. Our intuition was right, Radegast was incredible! Not only were they the most affordable option that we could find in the city for our number of guests, but the space was so beautiful that we didn’t have to spend money on any additional decor. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and friendly, and all of our guests were really impressed. Sean and the staff at Radegast “bent over backwards” (a quote from our wedding planner) to make sure that our vision for the day matched reality. They helped solve any problem that came along, and did so with a smile. They were as accommodating on the day of the event as they were in the months leading up to it. The price was exactly what we were quoted, there were not any unexpected add-ons or fees. The event was an absolute blast and the venue had a lot to do with it. Also the location is incredible. Williamsburg is perfect for everyone; your NYC friends are a subway ride away, your weird conservative relatives from Long Island can park in the parking garage literally across the street and run home right after the event, and anyone unfamiliar with the city will leave the event loving how pretty Brooklyn is. This is absolutely the best value for a wedding venue in New York City and the positive vibes are through the roof!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue. We had our wedding here on 4.13.24 and it was a dream. All of our guests were blown away by the cocktail hour spread and dinner courses (the food really was so delicious).The venue itself is naturally beautiful, and the location is excellent, with beautiful views of the Hudson even on a cloudy day. We had several guests say this was the best wedding they have every been to! I thank Victor for being so amazing throughout the entire planning process. Despite having to plan our wedding from Dallas, he was flexible with our schedules, and always had open communication. He gives you the confidence that he and his staff will take care of making your wedding celebration excellent and that is what they did. We were lucky to have Victor there the night of our wedding taking care of the details and coordinating all of the transitions of the night and made sure everything ran smoothly. He was a joy to work with. The staff was wonderful as well, all nice and professional. I recommend this venue to anyone for any event, but especially your wedding.

Brooklyn Winery was the first venue that we looked at and we immediately knew that it was the perfect fit for us. The space is absolutely beautiful and has the perfect layout for a wedding. The greenery wall was the perfect backdrop for our wedding ceremony. We also loved the skylights and all of the fun lighting fixtures throughout the space, which made for such a cozy and intimate atmosphere. We also had wonderful interactions with every single person that we worked with at Brooklyn Winery. Our first conversation and venue tour with Tatiana was extremely informative and helped to answer all of the questions that we had. This made us feel comfortable in our decision to choose Brooklyn Winery for our wedding. We got to meet more of the venue staff during our tasting and all of them were so kind to us. Everyone came over to introduce themselves and get to know us. We had dinner at the restaurant after our final walkthrough and were able to see some of the venue staff from the tasting, who remembered us and happily accommodated our dietary restrictions. And most importantly, we absolutely LOVED working with our Event Manager, Marissa Allain! Marissa was incredibly helpful in the months leading up to the wedding, providing quick responses to all of our questions. She kept us organized and thought through every little detail so that everything would run smoothly on the day of the wedding. Marissa helped us feel at ease throughout the whole process of wedding planning. She was so warm, genuine, and thoughtful and we feel so lucky to have had her as our event manager. We don’t know how we could have done it without her. The food was also a highlight of having a wedding at Brooklyn Winery. We had several guests with food allergies / dietary restrictions including dairy free, gluten free, pescatarian, vegetarian, and more. Brooklyn Winery was able to help us modify the dishes that selected to accommodate all of these dietary restrictions and make sure that there would be something for everybody to enjoy. And the food was delicious! We were blown away at how good it was and received countless compliments from friends and family. Thank you to the Brooklyn Winery team for helping us have a beautiful wedding that we will remember for the rest of our lives :)!

We got married at Dobbin St. on March 23, 2019. We fell in love with the space the first time we saw it. The high ceilings, clean lines, and minimalist look were just what we wanted, and unlike anything else we had seen. It was like a "clean" slate that we were able to completely make our own with our choice of flowers, lighting, place settings, etc. The whole Dobbin St. team was amazing to work with - they were with us every step of the way. I could write about how great the space is, how much fun everyone had, and how reasonable the price was, and I'll get to all of that, but I want to emphasize what the pictures can't. Our wedding day ran smoothly and comfortably for us and our guests, and it's due to the staff at Deity. They anticipated our needs, gave us lots of helpful advice in both the planning stages and the day of, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the wedding we wanted. Anna, the coordinator, answered my endless emails and asked even more questions that hadn't occurred to me, and on the day of she handled everything so seamlessly I actually got to enjoy myself; Caio, the owner, gave our officiant (my brother) tips about when to move the mic for the smoothest possible ceremony, and made sure my train looked perfect right when I first stepped out into the aisle; and none of the staff batted an eye when I came down an hour before the guests were arriving to say I needed help hiding clues for a scavenger hunt that I had not told them I was planning. They made sure my husband and I got something to eat and a quiet moment to ourselves, they helped us load an Uber at almost midnight on a Sunday with all the stuff we'd brought. They made the whole day feel seamless and fun, and I cannot thank them enough. Also, so many of my guests made a point to tell me how good the food was. I'll admit, I was a little nervous about committing to the in-house catering without a tasting (we were lucky enough to get a sample from Chef James on our initial tour), but my fears were entirely unfounded. The passed appetizers were genuinely amazing, and the food served at the family-style dinner was tasty and actually hot, which I feel like is rare amongst weddings I've been to. They also were very helpful in accommodating our guests with dietary restrictions, including coordinating an order from a restaurant for a celiac guest, whom their kitchen wasn't equipped to serve. The bar was also great, helped us come up with custom cocktails, and there was cocktail service everywhere, including on the dance floor. When I factored in the food and drink to the total cost we paid for Deity, it's also a really good deal, compared to other local catering options! I won't say too much about the space because you can see it in the pictures and judge the vibe for yourself on a tour. But I will say that having different spaces for the different parts of the event was great, and having the suite for getting ready (and for retreating to when we needed a moment) was a godsend--not to mention wonderful for our photos! Sunset skyine photos without leaving the venue? Don't mind if I do! The location was great for both our in town guests, and those staying at nearby hotels. If you like the look of Deity, don't hesitate. I hope your wedding there turns out just as wonderful as ours!

Someday Bar was the perfect spot for our after-wedding celebration! The team was incredibly thorough and really understood the vibe we were going for. Megan was super thoughtful with everything we wanted, and we coordinated together before the big day to make sure everything was exactly as we envisioned. The venue itself is a huge, amazing space that was ideal for hosting our wedding shenanigans. Lempert, inspired by 18th century scientific botanical engravings, collaborated with Flavor Paper to design wallpaper featuring the namesake Meadowsweet herb, and it’s seen throughout the restaurant in various iterations. Her photos, taken on the family’s property upstate, feature plants, vegetables and herbs and are also found throughout the restaurant. Bringing life to the space, a lofted mezzanine herb garden above the bar, which was created in collaboration with Brooklyn Grange, overlooks the dining room and features fresh rosemary, lemon thyme and mint, among others, used for cocktails.

Planning a Brooklyn wedding is no small feat but The Ace Hotel Brooklyn not only made my wedding vision come to life but exceeded my expectations! The team had amazing communication and answered all my many questions with ease. I planned my wedding myself and hired a day of coordinator only because the Ace were so easy to work with. Not only is the space beautiful but the staff are so kind and the food from their restaurant was beyond great. My guests were so happy. I would highly suggest having them handle your cake as well because it’s all made in house and I sent them my inspiration and they knocked it out of the park! Because they handle so much I was able to focus on smaller details and design for the day that made it feel extra special. Bacchus is a truly incredible little restaurant and a great place for a wedding. The food is great and we were able to put together a really special menu with them. Meryl their on staff event coordinator was amazing to work with and handled all the logistics of our big day with true French laissez faire ease. Having priced out a variety of caterers/event space/furniture rental options in addition to Bacchus, this is really a very cost effective and absolutely lovely place to get married near downtown Brooklyn.

Their communication, both via email and on the day itself, was seamless. Everything unfolded even better than I had envisioned! I did encounter a decor hiccup with the arch behind my sweetheart table, which my husband had crafted. On the wedding day, I was trying to adjust it when Brenda noticed my struggle. She immediately stepped in, reassured me, and took charge of the situation. Thanks to her, the arch turned out beautifully, just as I had hoped, and I was so relieved! I truly don’t know what I would have done without her help. Choosing DCI for our wedding was the best decision we could have made, and our day was absolutely flawless! Shell's Loft Ft Greene is an absolute dream! The brand new venue boasts a beautiful rooftop with a grill, a modern, lush backyard space, and two "studios" for all types of events.
