Knotting Hill Place has the perfect indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces. So many couples love the idea of a beautiful outdoor wedding but what happens if the Texas weather does not cooperate? At KHP we have a 10000 sq. ft. synthetic grass event lawn for the outdoor events and a 300 person dome ceiling cathedral if you would like to move indoors to say I do. Our venue was perfectly designed for weddings. It is all about flow and the guest being able to move from space to space easily and be served quickly so that they all may enjoy their special night. Our bride and grooms suites are the best in Texas. They are large and designed with bridal parties in mind. Complete with a TV screen that can watch the cameras of the rest of the venue, private lockers for the bridesmaids personal items, great lighting and salon style chairs and so on. Let's not forget both bridal and grooms suite have built in blue tooth!

Our rustic, elegant venue was originally a horse farm that trained champions. In 2018, we converted our main barn into a venue. We wanted our venue to have a look all its own. We mixed old wood, rustic hardware, & treasures with new things to create the stand-alone one-of-a-kind look & vibe this venue has today. When you visit, you will see old wood mixed with twinkle lights, chandeliers, & antique stained glass from old church buildings. Putting these elements together has created a gorgeous warm & inviting space. Our venue also offers an attached covered pavilion(with drop-down windscreens for inclement weather) & twinkle lights above. This is an excellent place for most of our ceremonies. We love having the bride hidden behind the big wooden doors that slide open for her entrance! This fantastic space doubles as space for additional partying as the night goes on! Country Ridge Cottage is a charming vintage rustic-style venue nestled on a 1.6-acre lot, offering a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings and various events. Indoor space can accommodate about 80 guests and the cottage features a brand new, spacious covered patio that can accommodate up to 100 guests, complemented by expansive outdoor grounds. With its rustic charm and picturesque setting, Country Ridge Cottage provides a beautiful backdrop for intimate gatherings and grand celebrations alike. The venue also offers 100 clear Chiavari chairs with white cushions, 60 white folding chairs, 8 tables for outdoor events, about 24 club-style chairs indoors, a bar table, and a sound system for added convenience and comfort.

We have two sets of men’s and women’s restrooms, one set at each end of the building. We also have a fully handicap accessible restroom. We have on site lodging as well as a smaller venue for your rehearsal dinner.

We are a Smithsonian Affiliated Museum in downtown McKinney. Built in1900 and established in 1970. We have 54 years of service! We have the Art-O-Mat which is a vintage machine repurposed for collectible art hence the Art-O-Mat! People travel all over the world and to McKinney to add to their art collections! The Heard Craig Art Center & Museum has private parking in downtown McKinney with a private garden, gazebo, and Carriage House.
