The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame is housed in a magnificent Tudor-style stable, built in 1913. Built in 1845 as a Methodist Church and later purchased and expanded in 1895 by the Masons, this former iconic building in the City of Poughkeepsie has undergone a major transformation to become a one-of-a-kind event space in the Hudson Valley. A former church, originally built in 1912, Pocono Palms is currently nearing the end of extensive renovations that began in the summer of 2019. Pocono Palms combines the rustic charm of the Pocono Mountains with lush greenery and modern lines, to create a memorable and unique oasis for couples looking for something different. The venue features a large outdoor garden, ceremony site and altar, and cocktail area.
