I was so overwhelmed when I first started looking for florists for our wedding. There are so many options, and I didn’t even know where to start until I found Poppy. They break down the process and steps, making it super easy, almost to the point that it doesn’t feel real. To start, you meet with a floral consultant where you talk through your wedding details, the vibe you’re going for, the general needs, etc. Then they walk you through a list of various wedding floral options: bouquets, table arrangements, signage florals, ceremony florals, etc., and you start to narrow down what you want. In each section, they have a grouping of photos, and you can either select something from that or ask for more options. You can also tweak what they have shown (I picked florals that had eucalyptus in them and requested everything be switched to ruscus). After that, you have a while to go back in and adjust until a deadline, but they accommodated some last-minute adds I had as well. Our consultant was Sophia, and she was super responsive and wonderful to work with. Closer to the wedding, you get assigned a local florist who does the actual designing/styling and installing, and we were lucky enough to get Ron, who matched our inspo images EXACTLY. Everything was so beautiful, and I was so in love with my bouquet. He was also incredibly nice and set everything up so quickly. If you’re looking for something to make the whole floral selection easy, simple, and beautiful (also super transparent with costs), definitely go with Poppy!!

Blooming Iris Designs

5.0

Philadelphia, PA

My name is Maggie and Blooming Iris Designs was inspired by my daughter. After 7 years as a wedding coordinator and being laid off due to covid, I wanted to find another way back into "wedding world." I stumbled upon a Floral Design Certification Program and decided to enroll. I then started my small business, out of my garage.

    Awarded Best of Zola
Blooming Iris Designs was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding flowers. From the start, their communication was open, constant, easy, and reliable - making the process of selecting and finalizing our florals a breeze. The end result was truly spectacular, with high-quality, beautiful arrangements that perfectly complemented our color scheme. In fact, I didn't even have a specific preference on the type of florals to use, and they exceeded my expectations by creating something even better than I could have imagined. Blooming Iris Designs played a key role in making our special day look and feel so beautiful. I highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.

    Blossom Republic

    5.0

    Philadelphia, PA

I've been a wedding & special event florist for over 4 years. I've done it all from backyard weddings to royal weddings at the Ritz Carlton and can definitely bring your vision to life! No idea is too big or too small.

I just have to share how thrilled we were with Blossom Republic for my daughter’s wedding at Ellis Preserve. They truly went above and beyond to make the day perfect. From the initial consultation to the big day, they were fantastic to work with. They really listened to what we wanted and offered thoughtful suggestions that made everything even more beautiful. The floral arrangements were stunning—every bouquet, centerpiece, and decoration was just right. The flowers looked fresh and vibrant, and they tied the whole theme of the wedding together beautifully. It was clear that they genuinely cared about making the day special. They were organized, attentive, and so easy to communicate with. It was a huge relief to know we could trust them to handle such an important part of the celebration. Thank you for making our daughter’s wedding day unforgettable. The flowers were perfect, and we couldn’t have been happier with your work.

      Woodland Floral Design Co.

      5.0

      • Serves Philadelphia, PA

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Woodland Floral Design Co. was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, Misha and her team demonstrated a true gift for understanding exactly what we wanted, even when we weren't always sure ourselves. Her calming presence and mind-reader-like intuition put us at ease throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding, the floral arrangements and decor they created were nothing short of once-in-a-lifetime magic - our wildest dreams come to life. Every single detail and more was perfectly executed, and Misha even went above and beyond to coordinate with our other vendors to ensure the day was seamless. If you're looking for a florist with God-given talent, look no further than Woodland Floral Design Co. Just go to my Google review, because 500 words will never be enough to describe Misha's incredible abilities. When all your guests just wanna take pics in front of your flowers- you know it’s perfect. I still can’t get over the hair accessories she made me…

Jen was AMAZING to work with! When it came to flowers for my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was very patient with me and helped talk me through my vision. She gave me flowers to pick from, talked about how big I wanted my bouquet and how much greenery I wanted, and then when I could find colors I liked in swatches, she color-matched the colors I wanted from an inspo pic I found online! She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order.  I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. She truly did make my floral dreams come true, and now I get to keep my bouquet for the rest of my life! A wooden flower bouquet from Jen is the way to go!

I texted Laura the day of my wedding because I felt like she needed to know my first tears were shed when I saw my bouquet. Words cannot describe how perfect it was. Laura took everything me and my partner asked for and ran with it. Florals were a very big piece of our wedding and I really feel like we asked the perfect person to bring them to life. Not only were the florals perfect but my mom stopped me the day after my wedding just to tell me she ran into Laura and she was "just so kind". 100/10 would recommend hiring her for your wedding.

From the moment I met her I knew I trusted her with my wedding flowers, which were one of the most important parts of my day. Evergreen Botanical Studio Flower Preservation

      5.0

      • Serves Philadelphia, PA
      • Offer

We specialize in vibrant and dynamic 3D flower preservation, transforming your wedding flowers into beautiful pieces of art. Maintaining close to original color and shape of your flowers, laid out in our Evergreen signature style and displayed in custom made wood shadow boxes brings a new modern look to flower preservation. Visit our webpage and instagram to learn more about our work. Please reach out directly at our website to inquire that your date is available. We kindly suggest to book as soon as you can as we are a limited capacity studio and can only take in a certain number of customers per month.

My husband and I decided to have an intimate micro-wedding with 12 other people in June of 2024, and organized just about everything ourselves, including the flowers. As part of the planning process, we sought out a preservation artist who could freeze this element of our wedding forever in time. I found Jackie of Evergreen Botanical Studio and her 3-D preservation style matched exactly what I was looking for, so we booked our date with her as soon as we could. She was the PERFECT choice. She took my crazy wild bouquet, my grandmother’s handkerchiefs that wrapped the stems, all the extra flowers from the arrangements, and even some delphinium from her own garden (because she's such an angel and took pity on me that mine didn’t quite survive), and created a work of art that takes me directly back to my wedding day and reminds me of all the amazingness that unfolded. AND she crafted the most wonderful little memento for my Mom, that was completed in time to gift for her 50th wedding anniversary, just months after our event. Jackie was so easy to work with, providing detailed instructions for packaging and shipping the flowers from the Midwest, eased my worry by confirming as soon as she received them, and gave a timeline and explanation of how the whole preservation process works. It seems like magic that the flowers in the finished product look just as they did on the day of our wedding. There is something extra special about the care and artistry that she applies to each and every project she works on. You can feel the passion for her craft shining through, from the vibrant colors and clever composition to the expertly homemade frames. This was an important part of our wedding budget, and we are so glad we made the investment, not only as an extra special keepsake but also to support a fellow artist and small business owner. You won’t be disappointed making the same choice!

      Mark Bryan Floral Designs

      5.0

      • Serves Philadelphia, PA

My love of Floriculture and Horticulture began when I was young thanks to parents that loved to garden and create breathtaking displays of flowers. That love continued through school and became my passion in college. After gaining a BS from Michigan State University in Horticulture/Floriculture and Landscape Design, I began my career. In 1995, I began Mark Bryan Designs with a eye towards creating unique floral designs for events and weddings.

Mark has an incredible gift for floral design. Every arrangement felt thoughtfully crafted, magical, and radiated the most beautiful colors. Throughout the wedding, guests couldn’t stop asking who designed the breathtaking florals. Parting with my bouquet was so hard that I decided to have it preserved! If I could do it all over again, I’d choose Mark and his amazing team without hesitation. He didn’t just meet expectations—he brought my fairy-tale wedding vision to life. Thank you for everything, Mark!

Located in York, PA, Blossom Bliss is a homegrown floral design company run by Kristen Adams. Specializing in unique floral installations + wedding day florals, Kristen and her team bring artistry and a fresh, organic style to your special events.

Kristen and the entire team at Blossom Bliss are incredible. Even from the very first intro call, Kristen's expertise, passion and kindness were apparent – and that remained true throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was responsive and worked closely with us to make sure our proposal was exactly what we wanted it to be. But most importantly, the way Kristen and her team brought our vision to life on our wedding day left us absolutely speechless (literally had no words when we first saw the reception space). The arrangements that she created were stunning, BEYOND anything that we even envisioned. Her work really pulled the entire event together, and so many guests commented on the incredible tablescapes as well. Also, I love that Blossom Bliss donates all remaining flowers (I believe they go to nursing homes and/or local hospitals if I'm remembering correctly). Knowing that the flowers were going to put a smile on someone else's face, rather than get thrown away after the wedding, brought a lot of joy. I highly, highly, highly recommend hiring Blossom Bliss for your event. You will not be disappointed!

I absolutely love my serving tray and now I’ll have this beautiful keepsake to always remember and treasure that day!

If you need a florist for your wedding or any big event, look no further!! Long stems is definitely the place to book with!! From my first phone call with Keith, I felt at ease. We discussed what I would want for our wedding and he took everything down. He said that we could always add or take away up until 3 weeks before the wedding when we do a mockup! I went back and forth a lot with his son, John, over the invoice and things I wanted to add and he couldn’t have been any more helpful. Any question I asked, they answered right away and accommodated anything I wanted to add on! When it came time for the mockup about 3 weeks before the wedding, I went in person to Long Stems. Keith was so gracious and then Heather walked me through what they were thinking of putting together! She had a mockup of a bunch of flowers and took out anything I didn’t want and added in anything I needed. After that, they sent me an updated invoice and anything I decided to change or fix they did no problem!! The day of the wedding they delivered my flowers right on time and just WOW. they were BEAUTIFUL!!!!! It was exactly what I envisioned and I couldn’t have been happier. My bouquet was absolutely perfect and they wrapped it in a handkerchief that i had given them during the mockup. I got married at Villanova University and Long Stems had the flowers in the church match our flowers perfectly!!! Aside from the bouquets, the centerpieces and Any other small arrangements throughout the venue were perfect. Keith’s wife, Anne, touched them all up to make sure everything was in place and she couldn’t have been any nicer!! She came up to the bridal suite to bring the corsages and boutonnieres in and when I started to move things around in the fridge to make room she told me to not worry about it and she would do it because she knew I had enough to do!! She was just so kind and I really enjoyed speaking with her. The entire Long Stems team was so amazing to work with. Not only do they put together beautiful floral arrangements, but they are kind, gracious, and so helpful. Thank you so much Long Stems!!!

Penney and the team at Blossom & Bee are incredibly talented. We found them on instagram less than two months out, a little desperate to find the right florist who understood our vision. We wanted wild, organic florals with rich and a hint of soft colors to really make our day stand out and they totally delivered. They were so kind and caring the day of, making sure we loved our chuppah and everything. We cannot recommend this team enough, we already are telling our friends getting married that they have to check them out. Also, reasonably priced considering how gorgeous their work is! Thank you B&B 3

      Crooked Fence Farm

      5.0

      • Starts at $2,000
      • Serves Philadelphia, PA for additional fees

Crooked Fence Farm is a family operation in Parkton, MD operated by Sarah and Billy McCarthy and supported by a skilled and dedicated team. We specialize in sustainable and seasonally grown blooms that will delight for any special occasion. Sarah is a former professional pastry chef with extensive experience in wedding and special event management. Uniting this expertise with our passion for sustainable growing practices, Crooked Fence Farm is the ideal option for an authentic, skillful, and magical floral component of your next event.

We can’t thank Sarah's team enough for creating such gorgeous florals and installations, even with a rain delay and plan B fully in effect. We appreciated her ability to ‘bring the outside in’ and it really felt like that. Sarah went above and beyond to make our floral dreams come true, all while respecting our budget and working hard to give us what we wanted. We loved supporting her business and her farm and working with her was a great experience with her positive attitude, passion, and vast knowledge of both florals and wedding planning. I wish I had more time to just stare at all of the little floral details at our wedding. The white ceremony columns with the white urns on top truly looked like an art installation; they were stunning. They were the perfect backdrop to our ceremony. THE STAIRCASE. I have never heard so many compliments. It was DREAMY. The tiny vines that spun around the railing. The ivy. The floral focal point at the bottom. It was better than I could have even imagined. It also smelled amazing and was the perfect place to do the wedding toasts, it will live forever in our videos and photos! The mantle installations also looked amazing (again something I wish I had more time to look at!!). THE PEONIES. It’s official that our wedding had a signature scent and it was PEONY! Which was also fitting since I wore peony perfume that day so now peonies will forever remind me of our wedding day which is so exciting for me because I love them. THE CENTERPIECES were perfect floating masterpieces just like I imagined. The combination of florals Sarah put together was classic but with an abstract/ organic twist and I loved all of the different unique buds in each one. The BOUQUETS turned out so beautiful. I loved how they were different but complimented each other so well. The shapes were so fun and you really got to see the color contrast which was perfect. 10/10 recommend working with Sarah for your wedding! (photos via @morganshootsfilm)
