Keith Erickson Entertainment

5.0

  • DJ
  • Starts at $1,250
  • Serves Pasadena, CA

Keith Erickson Entertainment is a Southern California based event and media company providing everything you need to kick your party up a notch. Specializing in all things entertainment, our company provides DJs/MCs, live musicians, lighting options, event rentals, miscellaneous performers, and just about anything else you can imagine. We tailor our services to best suit you with customizable packages, high quality equipment, and enthusiastic team members.

Coming from a family of people who love to dance our DJ choice was very important to me. Keith was the best choice! He did an amazing job of combining the hispanic culture and Spanish speakers from my husband’s side and upbeat pop beats from my side. There was not a single dull moment on the dance floor and I spent half of my wedding getting to dance and drink with my support system. He made it a dream come true. Not to mention the lights made it feel sooooo bougie too!!! He also does a flawless ceremony and dinner service. Killed the entire ceremony from the moment he got there till the moment he left! Would hire him over and over again!

We had Sarah as my makeup artist and photographer for our engagement photo session. She is patient, professional and so responsible. She responds to my messages quickly and provides a lot of professional opinions to my questions. She also helped me to pick the outfits/matching shoes/earrings beside only being a makeup artist and photographer. So glad to have Sarah for our photo session! Natural born life of the party. Bringing people together to have a good time would be my super power. Not only do I love my job but I love being able to give my wedding couples the wedding experience they dreamed of.

Makai is not only super personable and easy to talk to, he is also an amazingly fun & engaging DJ/MC! He listened to and accommodated all of our song requests, including songs we did NOT want played, and took the time to check in with us during the wedding to make sure we ate and had a good time. After the wedding, my family kept commenting about how “great the DJ was.” We are so grateful Makai was a part of our big day! 10/10 would recommend! (He may even end up on the dance floor at some point :)

Brittney Raine Photography

  • Photographer
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $7,000
  • Serves Pasadena, CA

**PSA: Please inquire via email/website instead of through Zola!** I'm Brittney, a wedding and portrait photographer from Los Angeles. I'm also a ceramicist, houseplant enthusiast, traveler (no place is too far), enneagram 4, ice cream lover, and introvert fascinated by human emotion. Photographing weddings has truly been my dream job, and I feel so honored every time I'm invited to capture intimate moments in peoples’ lives.

Awarded Best of Zola
My now husband and I were VERY lucky to have met Brittney at a wedding for a friend of mine. Immediately, we were both impressed by her ability to be there to capture *every* special moment of the wedding. Her stealth abilities are unmatched! Seeing her in action at a friend's wedding was only a fraction of how impressive she was as our wedding photographer. She was exceedingly professional, organized, and knew the schedule of events on our wedding day better than my husband or I! Pair all that with a sharp sense of humor and AMAZING photos, we could not have chosen a more perfect photographer!

  • Planner
  • Offers 6 services
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Pasadena, CA

We’re planners, designers, and boss babes. We combine our organizational skills with exuberant personalities to make wedding couples feel at ease with their planning process. Whether it be a day-of client or our full planning and design we make all of our clients feel as though they’re on the top of our priority list.

Planning our wedding bicoastally from NYC to Thousand Oaks was quite an adventure, made entirely possible thanks to XOXO Weddings. We spent two years planning virtually, and from our first meeting with Regan, we knew we had found the perfect fit. Warm, organized, and enthusiastic, Regan was an essential part of our planning process. We connected over our shared Leo energy, and she truly exceeded all our expectations. With the partial planning package including design elements, Regan created stunning mood boards that wowed our vendors and answered all my Type A questions with patience and precision. She was incredibly supportive throughout, making the planning process something we genuinely looked forward to. We loved our regular meetings and were genuinely sad when the process was over—not just because our wedding day had come to an end, but because it meant we wouldn't see her every other week. Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives, and it was absolutely flawless. Regan handled any hiccups like a seasoned pro, and we received countless compliments from vendors and guests alike on how smoothly everything ran. She was so accommodating of our trickier requests, such as having our candy bar shipped from NYC to LA, and she was with us every step of the way—from site visits and tastings to the rehearsal and early on the wedding day. Her communication was impeccable, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Regan was the last person to leave, making sure we went home with all our cards, attire, leftover food, and even some flowers. If you're looking to hire a planner, we highly recommend XOXO Weddings and especially Regan. She is incredibly hard-working and puts in the effort to make sure everything is perfect.

YOOSHI SUSHI CATERING & EVENT PRODUCTION

5.0

  • Caterer
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Pasadena, CA

I had my first shot at managing a sushi restaurant when I took over an empty section of the family restaurant and introduced sushi to my customers. It was a challenge that I will never regret accepting. It was fun, a lot of fun! I had the opportunity to work with some really talented and creative chefs. I quickly learned that it’s not just about having fresh fish anymore. Sushi dining has transformed into a culture. A culture built by imagination and creativity. With the help of GD and the support of my family, I took all that experience and fused it with my imagination and created Yooshi Sushi Catering and Event Production.

Authentic Argentinian flavors will be bringing a different experience to your event and your guest! Fuegos is passion and our modern set up will bring a nice touch to your party! We can offer a variety of Argentinian delights to improve the experience of your event

Absolutely blown away by the empanadas from Fuegos! As an Argentinean, I know my empanadas inside and out, and these are the real deal. The dough is perfectly flaky, with just the right amount of crisp on the outside, and soft, tender goodness on the inside. And the fillings? Out of this world! Whether it's the classic beef, loaded with juicy, seasoned goodness, or their creative vegan empanadas, every bite is like a little taste of home. I recently used their catering services for a work event, and they went above and beyond to customize the empanadas to perfectly match my taste and that of my guests. The beautiful packaging added an extra touch of elegance, leaving everyone impressed! Not only were they on time with the delivery, but they were also incredibly organized, ensuring everything went smoothly. Their attention to detail truly made the event even more special! Coming from someone who grew up eating empanadas, I can confidently say these empanadas are legit. If you’re looking for a true Argentinean experience, whether for yourself or for an event, you’ve gotta check them out. You won’t be disappointed!

Awarded Best of Zola
The 1909 stood out among the 15 venues we considered, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. From the start, we were captivated by the stunning ceremony deck, and during our in-person visit, the venue's unique charm won us over completely. It perfectly embodies the romantic, woodsy vibe we were searching for, with lush greenery that feels worlds away from the busy LA metro area, yet still conveniently close to it—especially for those of us familiar with the Valley. Nestled in the heart of Topanga Canyon, The 1909 offers a serene escape from city life. The venue provides a variety of rental options that seamlessly complement the natural setting, and everything is meticulously maintained. What really impressed us was the rental package—it includes access to the entire event space, from the beautiful ceremony deck and reception lawn to the indoor dance floor and bridal suite. As a first-time wedding planner, I also appreciated The 1909’s transparency with their pricing, which made the planning process much smoother. A special shoutout goes to Cristina, the venue manager. She patiently answered all of our detailed questions and coordinated multiple walkthroughs with us. Her support was instrumental in making our wedding a success, and I can’t thank her enough. If you’re planning a wedding at The 1909 with Cristina, rest assured—you’re in great hands.

Valentine

Valentine is our grandest location, and features a flowing 9,000 square-foot site plan designed for private events, courtyard weddings, receptions, exhibitions, productions and live performances. The venue is fully amenitized, and we provide experienced, professional site management, plus a commercial kitchen for client-selected catering teams. Originally built in the 1920’s in an area that has long served as the city’s seafood market east of Downtown, the building has lived many lives in its century of use; it’s been a hotel, a brothel, a fish and oyster company, and a commercial site for everything from glass blowing to marijuana cultivation. This mysterious history subtly informed our re-invention of the space.

We cannot thank Valentine DTLA (and the whole team at Marvimon) for going above and beyond and making sure our wedding really was everything we dreamed it would be! Here is a quick breakdown of how it all went down: We originally found Grass Room on Pinterest and always dreamt of getting married here! We went to visit the venue and loved it, but then they showed us Valentine DTLA and we realized that fit us A LOT more! We were looking for a venue that would "WOW" our out of town family members from NY and NE and give them an experience they could only have in LA! The dining area was laid out beautifully with a projector (that we used to project our seating chart and then play clips from our favorite romance movies while we danced), a historic looking bar that spoke for itself, and a ceremony area that's full of greenery (and the best lighting for posed photos)! While the place was a little out of our price range, we decided to have our wedding for 150 people on a Friday and it was worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. Once we signed the contract, we were put in contact with Dana and her team (Clare and Ariel) who helped us every step of the way and was there to answer ALL of our questions (which were a TON)! They provided us with paperwork that clearly outlined the rules of the venue and gave us a list of recommended vendors that have worked the venue before which helped us out a TON! One thing to note as you're considering this place, you will need to pay for a valet with White Label Valet who were very easy to work with and we HIGHLY recommend having since the area outside of the venue isn't the safest. Also, the venue does have security so there was never a moment where we or a guest felt unsafe. We spent a year and half of planning everything with Dana and her team at Valentine DTLA before our wedding. This included visiting the venue, having meetings in person to discuss the layout of everything, and asking us questions for things we never would have thought of to make sure all of our bases were covered. Dana and her team were so kind, helpful, and made sure we felt good when the day finally came and always checked in to see if we were stressing out as we got closer and to see if there was anything they could do to alleviate our worries. When the wedding day finally came, their site representative and our Day of Coordinator from "Pop the Champagne" (who was a DREAM to work with) made sure our wedding day went perfectly and that all the vendors obeyed the rules outlined in the contract so we didn't have to worry about anything at all! As soon as we walked into the venue, all of the stress was gone and the best day of our lives commenced! It seriously was the best day of our lives and we never felt so loved and that's thanks to Valentine DTLA (and Marvimon)! Even our guests were in complete awe of the venue and had a blast as well! We cannot thank Valentine DTLA and Marvimon enough for giving us the perfect wedding! Now quit reading this review and go book this beautiful venue!

The Ebell Of Los Angeles

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Venue
  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor

The Ebell of Los Angeles is a historical wedding venue located in Los Angeles, California. The property is situated in the heart of Los Angeles, and was built in 1927 as an architectural masterpiece. You and your guests will feel enchanted as you explore the details of this beautiful space. It is versatile enough to transform into your desired aesthetic or stand alone in its own beauty. Beyond being a stunning venue, The Ebell of Los Angeles offers a staff that is happy to help you through the entire planning process to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible. On the day of your event, you and your loved ones can enjoy a delicious unforgettable meal created by the dedicated culinary team.

Never in a million years did I think I’d be able to get married at a venue like this. The Ebell is the sort of thing you only see in movies (and that’s because it’s in all the movies!). You can see for yourself how breathtaking this space is, but what you can’t see from a website or an Instagram page is how equally incredible its staff are. Working with the Ebell was an absolute joy, every single person we interacted with was professional, kind, funny, and most importantly, cared so deeply about our special day. I’d be remiss not to mention our coordinator, Katie, who I could not extend enough gratitude to if I tried. If location and people weren’t enough, our food and drinks were actually insane. Two months after our wedding, we are still getting compliments on the food. Finally, the banquet staff, the real stars of the day itself, were remarkable. Such professionalism and poise that you could only expect from a place that looks like the Ebell. Truly an absolutely incredible experience, a dream come true.

When it comes to curating an unforgettable private event experience, your choice of bartender is paramount. With me, you're not just hiring a bartender; you're securing a dedicated craftsman, entertainer, and curator of taste. My commitment to excellence in mixology ensures that each drink is a masterpiece, meticulously crafted to tantalize the senses. Beyond the bar, I bring an infectious energy and flair that elevates the atmosphere, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and entertained.

Hiring Mykola for our joint-bachelor party was the highlight of the week! He was extremely easy to work with from our initial consultation to the final farewell cheers. Our party was filled with low-key cocktail snobs, so we wanted to make sure we requested unique cocktails that we could not make ourselves. After a few revisions and recommendations from Mykola, we settled on our final menu, and the drinks exceeded our expectations. Our favorite was the Mezcal Verde! When Mykola arrived, he set up his portable bartending booth, the syrups and garnishes, and even displayed a cute personal menu of our four cocktails. Mykola’s drinks were so tasty that our bachelor party could not concentrate on the Murder Mystery game we had prepared. I still have no idea who the murderer was... Thank you, Mykola, for being the perfect bartender and addition to our celebration week! I will definitely hire you if I get married again!

My name is Diamond Davis. I am a former restaurant manager, event coordinator and bartender. My restaurant closed due to Covid-19 so I thought of a way I could still do what I love while providing others with happiness and relief. One of the happiest days of my life was my wedding day. Although happy, it was stressful and nerve-wracking. Just prior to walking down the aisle, I took a shot to ease my nerves. Sounds weird but, I thought, "I'd like to ease people's nerves on their big day." Thus you have, Lit Cocktails! Providing you with ease and relief on your big day--- Alcoholically.

While I was the bride, I could have hung out with Diamond and her second bartender all night. They were so much fun!! Diamond is so professional, charismatic, and a hard worker! We did his and hers signature cocktails, his was a cucumber jalapeno margarita and hers was a moscow mule. Each executed with perfection! The cucumber jalapeno juice was homemade by Diamond and it has been weeks since our wedding and people are still telling me how great it was. Plus, we are still getting people telling us how amazing our bartenders were! Thank you so much, Diamond!!

La Venta Inn

5.0

Palos Verdes Estates, CA
  • Venue
  • Up to 180 guests

Made by Meg is proud to continue the legacy of the historic La Venta Inn nestled in the hills of Palos Verdes Estates. La Venta Inn has enjoyed a full, rich history on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Nationally recognized as a California Point of Historical Interest, the Inn dates back to the early 1920’s, when a group of international businessmen set out to develop the ‘ideal residential community.’ The landmark ocean view estate is a beautifully restored 1920’s Spanish villa and used to entertain guests from the world over through exceptional weddings and events. We are thrilled to bring the delicious Made by Meg cuisine and our incredible hospitality to this one of a kind property.

We got married at La Venta Inn in September 2024 and it was truly everything we could have asked for. The centerpiece here, and a large part of why we chose this venue, is the spectacular view overlooking the ocean which made for such beautiful pictures. Besides the natural beauty of the area, the building itself is a historic villa which felt cozy and intimate and yet comfortably accommodated our guest count of 100. Savannah was our contact person and was very responsive to emails, including some last minute seating changes we had in the weeks leading up to the wedding La Venta works exclusively with Made by Meg for catering - Kat was our contact person and was fantastic to work with. Note that they do not allow outside food vendors, but they were able to accommodate some of our special requests such as requests to source a specific brand of ice cream so that we could make our wedding unique to us. We got so many compliments from our guests on how delicious the food was. The other exclusive vendor that they are contracted with is Vox DJs. This is the only vendor that we had a less than stellar experience with. They performed their duties fine on the day of the wedding, with the exception of forgetting to set up the dance lights we had paid for, but the communication and planning leading up the wedding did not go as smoothly as I hoped, and I wish that we had the flexibility to go with a DJ company of our own choosing. However I understand the restrictions given that La Venta is a historic site. Overall, our wedding at La Venta was memorable, beautiful, and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a gorgeous venue with spectacular ceremony views. With a venue like this, you really only need a good florist (we used Flowernoon Shop) and a talented photographer (June Choi Photography) to bring out the natural beauty of the venue - you really don't need a lot of other rentals, draping, etc. We are so happy we had our wedding here!

I’ve always loved hair and makeup, so getting it professionally done was one of the things I was most excited about for my wedding. Choosing a HMU artist was overwhelming, especially with so many highly recommended options. Emily Lynn & Co. stood out to me because of their natural approach. Their website had an editorial yet relaxed and fun vibe that resonated with me. As a graphic designer, a beautifully designed brand and website played a big role in all my vendor decisions—but Emily Lynn & Co.'s work truly spoke for itself. I had the pleasure of working with Colette as my lead artist, and I can’t recommend her enough. She made the trial experience so comfortable by coming to my apartment, which was so nice. Colette really understood my vision—I wanted to look like myself, not too overdone, but with a touch of soft glam, and she nailed it perfectly. I also had Josie do hair for a few wedding party members, and everyone looked incredible. The atmosphere while getting ready was fun yet wonderfully calm. I highly recommend Emily Lynn & Co. to anyone looking for a top-notch HMU team!

We also have keyboards, bass, and drums/vocals.

Awarded Best of Zola
My wife and I highly recommend Susie Hansen and her Latin band. They are a five star band in all categories. Susie and her band made everyone at our wedding feel very comfortable, gay or straight. Susie and her musicians are all so talented. They are very versatile and their huge song list includes many genres of music. The music reaches all generations from millennials to octogenarians. Music is very important to my wife and me, so when we decided to get married the first thing we did was call Susie. We picked a date for the wedding based on the band’s availability. Susie was so easy to work with and helped us in so many ways. She suggested the venue we used, acted as our MC, and she even learned a special song to which we walked down the aisle, “There’s a Place for Us.” It was a wonderful event thanks to Susie. An older friend said it was the best wedding she’d ever been to, even her own!

I was on the fence about a coordinator but since I only had 4 months to plan I knew I needed some help. Agnes was absolutely amazing. She responded to me at 11pm when I was overthinking a floor plan, was extremely responsive via text and email every time I reached out. I am very detail oriented and thank god she is exactly the same. Everything from the timeline to the floor plan to the set up list was meticulously put together. Day of Agnes couldn't be there so my day of coordinator was Brenda who was absolutely amazing. There was one snafu with a rental company that did not deliver on time and Brenda snapped into action. Even Agnes who was at a different event put time and effort into helping find a solution from a far. I literally didn't think of anything on the day of my wedding except having fun which is exactly how it should be. Agnes came to me as a recommendation from a close friend and I would absolutely recommend her and her team over and over again.

Born in the desert (AZ Baby!) and relocated to the sea. I firmly believe that a good day starts with a cup of coffee and ends with glass of red wine. I own more jewelry than I do clothes and in my opinion, too much gold does not exist. My biggest passion will always be photography. I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was a little girl – I would even set up “stylized shoots” in my family’s living room that consisted of sheets pinned to the wall, my friends and fake flowers (embarrassing, but I’m not kidding!). I strive for those editorial, Vogue-like shots, but I really live for those private, in-between moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
I was referred to Kristina by my wedding venue's coordinator. I was having a destination wedding at a private estate and she had shot several weddings and shoots there before. Knowing that she knew the venue and seeing her work, I knew she was a top contender. Having great quality photos was hugely important to me, and that was something I wasn't willing to sacrifice quality on. Her style was exactly what I wanted—natural, soft, minimally edited, and not overly posed. However, a good wedding photographer is an investment, so I wanted to meet with her first. Luckily, she lives in the same town as I do, so I didn't have to travel to the destination to meet her. When I joined her for a glass of wine, we instantly clicked and I was immediately a YES. Before my husband would sign on the dotted line, he wanted to meet her as well. We met for a 2nd time, all three of us, and he also loved her right away. Having that connection to a photographer is SO important to make you feel comfortable throughout the event and truly trust them (photos are awkward, right?). The day could not have run more smoothly, thanks in large part to Kristina. She made taking photos fun for everyone and our bridal party also fell in love with her. Aside from being fun and personable, she was professional and kept us on a tight timeline. She also made sure we fit everything in on my wishlist: first look, first look with my dad, bridal party photos, family photos, table photos, dancing, the hora...didn't miss ANYTHING. I'm so in love with my photos from that day and so happy to have those lifelong memories. Since then, she's become a great friend. Anytime I want photos taken for a life event, I will ONLY use her. She's taken family holiday photos, photos of my pups, professional photos for my husband, and I will keep using only her for family photos in the future.

We're Hugo & Kat, wedding photographers & filmmakers based in Los Angeles. We're a married duo & we genuinely love that we get to pursue this passion together. Our goal is to create a space where you can be completely yourselves. To capture the real essence that makes you, you. Both individually & as a couple.

Hugo and Kat did photo and video for my wedding during the pandemic and they were nothing short of amazing! They were so easy to talk to and I didn’t feel like they were “in our faces” with the cameras. Yet, they happened to capture the most intimate of moments. I’ll forever cherish the photo they captured of me and my dad! As an event professional myself, I have to admit it’s hard to find vendors that still have that freshness and fun. Hugo even managed to convince some of my guests to come out onto the dance floor after they were sitting ducks. That showed me that he wasn’t just there to take photos/videos and call it a day, they were there to go above and beyond and make sure me and my guests had a night to remember. :)

Awarded Best of Zola
The Revery really is a dream of a venue. I call it, a hidden oasis! Conceptually, I wanted to create a speakeasy bar-like wedding and the revery was the perfect space for that. Anyone walking down the street in the industrial area would least expect to walk into such a transformative space -- I loved how unique the locale was, and loved even more how beautiful the outdoor veranda was. The clean, white interiors act as a blank canvas to design and utilize the space in endless ways. At the time, the indoor construction wasn't fully complete, but I took the risk and booked the site anyway, and am so glad that I did. My husband and I held a 100 person wedding in the fall renting the outdoor veranda, and it was absolutely perfect. Monica, the founder, was incredibly attentive and accommodating - I really appreciated her attention to detail, as she made sure the space was seamless for wedding day. I am hopeful to celebrate more milestones in this space, as it holds such value and is so special to me. I have every confidence that this dream of a place will be loved and favored by many. I promise, you won't be disappointed!

Hi there, my name is Caleb but most people call me Cook. I spent almost 13 years in the southeast filming weddings, events, corporate gigs and commercials. I moved to California in 2012 and pursued a different career. A couple years ago I decided to get back into event videography and started Cook Captures. When shooting events I have a very hands off candid style. I love to capture people naturally having fun, enjoying the day and creating memories. Every event I film is unique and each film ends up with it’s own story and narrative that fit the couple, venue, guests and overall vibe of your wedding.

We are over the moon with the work of Cook Captures! Caleb has a remarkable talent for capturing the essence of our special day. The attention to detail in every frame was beautiful and the video we received a was nothing short of magical. Our wedding day was a whirlwind of emotions (and windchill), and Caleb managed to encapsulate those precious moments, creating a visual story that tells the story of our love. The turnaround time for our video was impressive, and the presentation was beyond our wildest dreams. Each moment was thoughtfully edited, and the music selection perfectly complemented the spirit of the day. Caleb turned our wedding day into a cinematic experience we will cherish forever. We cannot express enough gratitude to Caleb for his dedication to preserving the magic of our special day. If you are seeking a videographer who goes above and beyond, Caleb is the one! We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented, professional, and personable videographer. Thank you, Caleb and Cook Captures, for your exceptional work! Highly recommend!

I have been a professional freelance makeup artist for 4 years now. I also worked at Sephora for 2 years as a makeup artist, and earned my Esthetician license before that in 2017. I have always been an artist at heart but did not touch makeup until I was 18 years old! But thankfully my love and talent for art and painting easily transferred over to makeup artistry, and I'm very thankful that I can encourage my creativity while making people feel beautiful on their important days of life.

I connected with Jaycee (Jackie) when working in LA because we both have a very similar style. When moving out of LA I passed her to all of my clients and my top recommended makeup artist and I now travel back for large events that we both work together. Jackie is passionate and skilled in her craft and most importantly she works with quality products and follows strict sanitation protocols. She is my favorite artist to work with and the only one I would personally recommend in my place for any job. All of my past clients that work with her have nothing but excellent things to say!

An expert on wild and beautiful locations on the West Coast (California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii) I am a full time photographer with a passion for creating timeless and candid art about your life. I service all of Southern California, Northern California, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii regularly, and will travel anywhere you want me to go to document your love!

September '23 couple here - while searching for photographers back in December '22, we really didn't know what we were looking for, that is, until we found Michelle. Her photos were the perfect marriage of whimsical, light, airy but poetic & deeply romantic at the same time. The vibe I could see on the walls of my home for years to come. She did our engagement photos in Joshua Tree, after scouting the park on her own all day one day, to make sure the location was exactly what we wanted. We trusted her vision immensely! Not only was that day a blast, the end results were seriously everything we wanted & more. Fast forward to our Wedding, September 30th, 2023. An absolute dream of a day. Michelle completely conquered that day. She was so great at directing every situation to get the perfect shots. I come from an event background, so her organizational management and eye for perfection did not go unnoticed. We are so glad we found her, & now when our family grows, I know exactly who I'm calling for family photos 3

Johnny Mixology

Our main goal is to provide exceptional bespoke cocktails, delivered to you through an elegant and entertaining bartending experience. From developing your custom cocktail program to creating budgets & sourcing ingredients, we work with you every step of the way to make sure you will have a stupendously fun cocktail party right in your own backyard. Not only do the cocktails have to look and taste amazing, the experience has to be absolutely incredible. It is crucially important to us that everyone on our team is genuinely and authentically personable on top of being an exceptional mixologist.

To start, I first met Johnny when I was looking for a bartender for my birthday. It wasn’t an easy task. I am a harsh critic and I also don’t typically drink(by choice). I’m just not interested in the taste anymore. I wanted to find someone who could make a drink that I even I would want to drink. Because if you’re that good, then I know all of my friends would love you. Johnny was that and beyond. Let’s add to the birthday topic that it started raining in Setember in LA. When does that even happen? Never but it happened that one day on my birthday. I had an outdoor venue and we(at the last minute and on the day of) scrambled to get tents and a canopy for the bar (that I thought was useful but wasn’t). Johnny was a team player. He made it work through the rain and the sprinkles. By the end of the night, I want to say he was near soaked, but he was truly a highlight of the night. He didn’t complain or cancel. He not only has skill, but charisma. He makes homemade mixers too! What! He truly made the best of it and made sure that I had an absolutely fantastic birthday despite the random weather mishap. To this DAY, my friends ask about him! I always recommend him for any of my clients that are looking for a bartender. 100% I haven’t met better. Fast forward to me coordinating, and now he is one of my preferred vendors for weddings because I can trust that he will not only get the job done, but also be on top of things without me having to double check anything. That truly requires trust and I know that I can put my full faith in him. I don’t know if HE even knows how much that means to me. I know that this was long, but it just goes to show you that Johnny is really friggin fantastic. I hope that you read this and it encourages you to book. I hope you get to experience Johnny Mixology. :) With Love, B
