Seth was the best wedding DJ that we could have hoped for! We first met Seth at a wedding vendor expo event at our reception venue and were immediately impressed by the quality of his sound system and his ability to mix the selected soundtrack live. Seth is very communicative. In our first meeting with Seth, it was already immediately apparent that he was very experienced and very passionate about making our wedding day special and everything that we wanted it to be. We felt very comfortable that he knew what he was doing, and on the day of the wedding he executed flawlessly. As for the preparation work, Seth schedules multiple meetings with you leading up to your wedding day which eases a lot of the nerves heading into busy planning season. Seth also has an app that you can download on your phone which is awesome because it allows you to edit details of your wedding day timeline and playlist on-the-go as we were making decisions during the planning months. On the day of the wedding, Seth came prepared having downloaded all the music that we talked about ahead of time and he kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT (over 3 hours). Seth responded to the audience and was able to mix a variety of genres that we had requested (like country, pop, spanish music, musical songs, etc) over various sets across the evening. He also coordinated our photo booth which was a nice touch that all the guests really enjoyed and had a second person stationed there for help all night. We couldn't recommend Seth enough to other couples who are in need of a DJ! Thank you, Seth!

I was obsessed with my wedding hair and makeup. It was exactly what I requested (light coverage makeup that lasted all day and hair half up hair with waves that also stayed all day but wouldn’t get all knotted from a bunch of hair spray). I was crying or sweating for about 80% of the day and it all lasted perfectly without ever looking cakey/streaky/etc. As someone who never gets my hair/makeup done, I recommend doing a trial. I found I wasn’t super great at articulating what I wanted and my inspo photos were not cohesive. Tiffany was great in helping with each step and giving me different options! She is communicative and flexible. She’s also super sweet and relaxing which is the right type of energy for the morning of your wedding! I would recommend her to any of my friends.

Crystal is calm, efficient, and super personable. We hired her in February ‘25 originally for an Oct ’25 wedding, then pushed it up to a July ’25 wedding. We basically planned an 80 person wedding within less than 6 months and absolutely would not have been able to do this without Crystal. It was a whirlwind and Crystal made things much easier by keeping us on track with tasks, giving us vendor recommendations, and helping research additional vendors when we wanted other catering options. She gives you to-do lists after your calls, has various tracking lists & checklists; it was SO easy to collaborate with her. From a logistics standpoint, our wedding involved a LOT of logistics. Two venues down the street from one another (the latter for the dance party), the main venue required a 'flip' (using the same space for ceremony as the reception), valet, shuttles, separate bar/catering at the 2nd venue... But all of this was executed flawlessly. A few notes- our catering vendor did catch an important rental that was left off of an ever-changing rental order. I am definitely more of a micro-manager/anxious type and that made me a bit nervous. I had the slightest doubt whether or not all these details would be executed on the day of the wedding. Come wedding day, Crystal and the other day-of coordinator/assistant Kristen made sure we kept things on schedule and all goes went as smoothly as a live event goes. Crystal’s prowess came to life on the wedding day and she really took charge. There were a few mishaps but I think they were due to miscommunication; nothing that wasn’t fixed or detracted from the event! Overall, we were happy with the outcome and really appreciated Crystal’s efforts. We would recommend her!

Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.

It was a true pleasure to have Randall and his staff a part of our wedding vendor team. He is a true professional and master at his craft. My wife and I were very particular in choosing our wedding photographer. We knew that our wedding photos were going to last forever and wanted to be sure that the photographer we choose was going to capture all of the essential moments. Every photographer has their own style when it comes to editing the photos and Randall’s was exactly what we were looking for. After we wrapped up our initial consultation call, my wife and I knew that he was the photographer we wanted. He was easy to communicate with and we felt very comfortable with him as if we had know each other for years. He built us a personalized package that accommodated all of our specific needs. Leading up to our special day, he made sure to check in on us multiple times and made sure we never had to worry about a thing. His knowledge and experience as a wedding photographer made us feel like we had another wedding coordinator. He knew all of the ins and outs and was going to be prepared for any unexpected changes that might come his way. On the day of the wedding, him and his staff were able to seamlessly work with our videographer to capture all of the important moments we wanted. They were well organized and had a clear game plan. I cannot stress how important having him was on the day of the wedding. He kept my wife and I at ease and was able to adjust to all of the twist and turns that were thrown at him. He was always looking out for us as a couple and made sure our best interests were held. Everyone involved with our wedding spoke so highly of him and his staff. If we were to choose an MVP of the day, Randall takes the cake. We were so excited when he told us our gallery was ready to view and when our hard drive was available to pickup. He captured every single moment and every time we look through the photos we can relive one of the most important days of our lives. We truly appreciate Randall and will always recommend him to any of our family or friends. There is no one else we will call if we ever need a photographer.

I cannot say enough good things about Gabby and Claudio Cakes! I found Gabby on Zola while planning our 120-person wedding. Though I reached out to other bakers, Gabby stood out with her variety of items, designs, and services. I am an indecisive person, so when I contacted Gabby, we only had a rough idea of what we wanted: a small cake and a dessert table. Gabby’s excellent communication skills helped us find exactly what we didn’t even know we wanted. She took our vague ideas and brought them to life with her creativity. Gabby met with us for a tasting, where we got to try an impressive selection of cake combinations. From what I recall, she offered more choices than any other baker we considered. While we aren’t typically cake people, every single thing we tasted was absolutely delicious. Our wedding was in Ventura County, and Gabby was able to provide delivery from LA. Our wedding started later than usual, and Gabby was flexible with a later delivery time, which was a huge help since our wedding was outdoors—we didn’t want desserts melting before the reception started. Even our coordinator mentioned how great this was since it’s not a standard service. In the end, we ordered around 19 dozen assorted pastries and a small cake for photos. The desserts were such a hit that they were gone almost immediately, and even months later, guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. Some even mentioned being disappointed they didn’t get to try anything because the treats disappeared so quickly. Throughout the whole process, Gabby was professional, knowledgeable, and communicated flawlessly. I truly wish all my vendors were as amazing as her. I highly, highly recommend Gabby, and I’m just waiting for another event to work with her again. Thank you so much, Gabby, for making our day so dreamy!

Can't say enough about the quality of James's work, his attention to detail, his professionalism, and curating the best dance party experience at our wedding!! He was even accommodating to our last minute music requests and was very patient with us. I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. The search for our perfect wedding venue ended at the beautiful and historic Oviatt penthouse. The moment my husband and I walked in, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. Every single detail of this building is so intricate and breathtaking. Something that is so amazing about the Oviatt, is that the venue hardly needs any decorations. There is plenty of beauty everywhere you look. Gabe, Lindsey, and the rest of the team made us feel comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire wedding planning process. They were there to answer any and all of our questions via email and phone call if needed. They were flexible with us when we wanted to schedule walk-throughs with multiple vendors of ours. Working with Sam, Marco, and Julian was so seamless and easy. We really wanted to avoid a DJ that played tired 'wedding' music and actually created a fun night of dancing with our millennial Brooklyn crowd. We vibed with Sam immediately on intake meeting, who even 'scouted' our venue to confirm the existing audio setup worked (helping us save some on rentals). Coordinating with Marco and working with DJ Julian on the day-of was a breeze and delivered exactly the energy we had hoped for. Couldn't recommend enough!

Literally from the first interaction, Trey was thoroughly professional. We knew instantly that we'd be in good hands during the process, and he maintained through the big day. With Trey, we always had clarity over next steps, and we also got as much flexibility as we could ever hope for. We had a slightly unusual (or, unconventional) ceremony in a couple of ways, and Trey handled every request without any issue. Lastly, and most importantly for a DJ, he nailed the music. We felt like he "got" us while also filling in the gaps appropriately. A true professional, and we feel fortunate having him on the deck for our celebration.

We are incredibly grateful Xenia was our engagement/wedding photographer and couldn't be happier with the results! What the images don't explicitly show is that Xenia was an absolute joy to work with. She is clear, transparent, and helpful in her communication. Her straightforward and friendly communication ensured we were always on the same page and felt supported throughout the process. While shooting, she is organized and efficient.
