Hey there! I'm Fernando Ávila. I founded Ellyce Wedding Films while my wife and I were planning our wedding in 2019. By this point, I had already accumulated 15 years of experience shooting wedding videos and my wife simply couldn't understand why I wasn't booking my own clients. She encouraged me to explore the idea. So, here we are. I named my company after my wife, Ebony Ellyce Ávila.

I'm embracing my talents to the fullest and always learning and growing in my craft. With filming nearly 300 weddings undermy belt and surviving 2020 I have seen and experienced it all! When I think about the importance of wedding films, I often tell my clients that their wedding film is not necessarily for them. What I mean by that, is that our goal is to create a memory that generations can look back on and say.., “look at Grandma with her girlfriends!!” Or “I didn’t know papa was such a great dancer”.
