Jacob Logan Barth

Having grown up on a farm in Central Illinois, I am a filmmaker living in Chicago. I began doing wedding videography in 2017 while living in Bend, Oregon. I love intimate, small-scale weddings and elopements.

I create classically cinematic videos using the power of striking imagery set to contemporary music to evoke strong emotions. I prefer to work as a "fly on the wall," allowing couples to be themselves and enjoy their big day while capturing special moments as they unfold naturally.

    Hiring Jacob is a NO BRAINER! I cannot say enough great things about or experience! From the moment we hired him, and the whole process of receiving our video and raw footage afterwards... was smooth, easy, and we are eternally grateful! To this day, we always tell everyone how important it is to hire a videographer... the emotion is very different from photos. Live footage just helps you piece back together and process your perfect day! I had asked for a few different things, like having music playing through the whole video and snippets of both of our vows and Jacob way overdelivered and exceeded my expectations! Check out his Vimeo videos- they are unreal and will give you all the feels! Do not hesitate in hiring him. The video he creates will bring back all the best moments of your wedding day!

    Jacob was AMAZING at filming my and my wife's wedding back in 2021. While Jacob was somewhat near where we got married, he still had a drive quite a distance to film, and he was fully prepared. Communication was excellent, and the final product is, to this day, truly breathtaking. He captured the day amazingly.
