Garren Poirier is the name and I CAN'T say I've been into photography since my dad gave me a camera back in 1982. I started getting interested in photography in 2004 after I bought my first camera for a trip across the pacific to Indonesia. From that point I was obsessed with taking pictures. I immersed myself in learning about photography through books, the internet and trial and error. My true passion in the beginning was landscape which I believed helped me with other aspects of photography, I love finding new ways to look at the world.

Meeting around 10 years ago and instantly becoming best friends, Jason and Nichole have now been married for 5 beautiful years. They share two children and when they aren't creating amazing wedding day memories for their clients they are out exploring. You can find them skiing, hiking, camping, and even traveling the country in their van when time permits!

Our mother-daughter team brings a unique perspective to wedding photography. I have a healthy addiction to deep snow and frozen nose hairs. Most think I'm crazy, but on those truly frosty mornings the mountains are a magical place to be. During the warmer months, when I'm not behind the lens, you can usually find me hiking in the mountains or fishing in the salty waters of Maine and New Hampshire. These days I call the Mad River Valley of Vermont home. My wife and I, along with our furball pup have a little cliffside home overlooking a waterfall (dubbed 'The Waterfall House'). -Keep an eye on my IG stories for said waterfall imagery/video updates.

When you go on a session with me, I will not only make you feel comfortable, but I will make sure you look good! I will give you prompts to keep you moving and laughing.
