Ardita was amazing to work with, and knew how to help my husband and I let loose behind the camera! On our wedding day, she did a great job of keeping our wedding party and families organized during the group pictures! We received both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures back so fast, and received so many genuine compliments on them from our family and friends! Ardita felt more like a friend, rather than just a wedding photographer! We are so grateful for her!!!

We cannot say enough good things about Keel and Co! We originally chose Trisha to capture our engagement photos because she had a reputation for being great with dogs, and we planned to have ours included. We were not disappointed! She was so great with getting and keeping their attention. A bonus was that she helped me coordinate our outfits for the best look. As the wedding got closer, Trisha was great at keeping us on track with photo lists and planning. She worked so well with our coordinator, and together, and they made sure we had plenty of time to get any and all photos we wanted. Trisha's husband, Josh, is her second shooter, and working with the two of them was so fun! They brought so much energy and calmed the chaos when needed. Our family was impressed with their organization, and our bridal party said it was some of the most fun they've had taking wedding photos. We've gotten half of our photos back so far and are completely over the moon as we wait for the rest. Trisha is truly amazing, as I continue to tell any and all of our friends. We can't recommend Keel and Co enough!

Hignight’s Florist is locally owned and operated in the Quad Cities by Chad & Corry, a fun and creative couple with a combined background focused on floral design, plant care, architecture, and design. Other focuses include their two cats, Cubs baseball, gardening, extroversion, introversion, and of course, steak tacos and pizza.

Working with Corry at Hignight's was a dream come true! When we first met with her for a consult she was a great sounding board for us to brainstorm and collaborate ideas with. She offered great suggestions and even honest feedback on some of the flowers she'd recommend to use (and what was available in-season to look the best) given our venue was outside in September. When we brought up wanting to use vintage trophies as vases she was fully supportive of the idea and I'm sure they came with extra work on her part to create. She was so great to work with we recommended her to several other couples who ended up using Corry's services as well for their weddings. Her services were very reasonable, professional, and made us feel completely at ease during a time which can be quite stressful. Can't say enough great things about working with Corry; we even have her recreate one of our wedding floral arrangements every year on our anniversary to celebrate our special day!

At the Barn at Brophy Creek, we are a family run business on a fourth generation farm. Running along the edge of Brophy Creek, the farm was purchased in the 1950's by my grandfather who immigrated from Germany and worked the farm as a hired man when he was 18 years old. The next generation took over and my dad began farming the land. My husband and I moved into the farmhouse where we raised our 4 beautiful children. I’ve stayed on this acreage my entire life. It is my history. Eventually, my dad retired and the buildings began to deteriorate. I knew we had to save these historic buildings and share them with the community, so we got creative and dreamed up the wedding and event venue that Brophy Creek is today. Luckily, my husband is able to take the dreams and visions I have in my head and make them reality. In 2015 we began dreaming it up, tearing it apart, and rebuilding - we've put our lives into this space.

This venue was PERFECTION! It really captured the rustic vibes we were going for and because the space is so beautiful we really didn’t need to do much decorating which saved us a lot of money. There are plenty of backup locations as well if you needed it for the weather, but if you can get married at the outside location-do it! It was stunning to get married out by the pond at sunset in the fall. We got so many compliments on how stunning the place was and I really can’t talk enough about how incredible Kari is to work with. She’s a great communicator, helps work out any problems, and overall is so incredible to work with. We loved having the weekend package so we could have the Friday to set up, only worry about getting married on Saturday, and tear down on Sunday. I also think this package was affordable for how much time you got at the venue too. We got so many compliments on the wine slushies as well. You won’t regret having your wedding here!
