My husband and I got married at the CKE this October 2024. There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude to their entire team for all of their hard work to make our visions and dreams come to life. Each and every staff member was kind, and helpful. If you had a question you’d get a response promptly and always with a “let’s see what we can do attitude”. Katherine (the owner) made you feel a part of the CKE family and always was looking to make the planning process seamless and easy for us and our family. The CKE floral and design team made our big ideas all come to life- we had a visions of big branching centerpieces with florals tucked in, that Jess and her team absolutely delivered on. On top of that, we asked for an installation over our sweetheart table. Jess and her team have many suggestions and shared they visited Home Depot at least 3 times to see how it would hang, and the final installation beyond exceeded our expectations. The talent and grace their team exudes is what ever bride and groom look for in a team. The planning process was also so seamless due to their amazing coordinator team. We worked with Katrina, the kindest, most professional coordinator we have ever met. Katrina was available at every step of the planning process, providing thoughtful recommendations due to her very obvious experience. Katrina also was there for our wedding day of helping to manage the schedule, set up, constantly checking in, and making sure it all went according to plan (which it did). In addition during the reception Katrina was checking with us throughout the night to see if we wanted to pivot anything or if we needed anything. We are extremely grateful for her support! In addition, Kyle was our maitre d’ for the evening and he did an absolutely wonderful job. He made sure to check in with my husband and I as well as our immediate family members. He was so kind and professional! Lastly but very importantly- the food and drinks! Most of all of our guests shared that this was the best wedding food they have ever had. It is no small feat cooking for large groups and every aspect of the food from the cocktail hour to the dinner course was absolutely fantastic. These are a few quotes from guests: - “The food was gourmet.” - “This is the real deal.” - “The sushi… Oh, the sushi! So fresh!” In addition, the bartenders crushed it! Everyone was impressed by the quality of the drinks and we never had a line at the bar- they were fast and catered to our guests. I would highly recommend the CKE to future couples getting married. The aspect of the family business really shows and ensures you have a tailored experience for your wedding. The entire staff is kind and down to earth- always willing to help. We wish them nothing but the best for their future wedding seasons!

Booking with The Wedding Foundry at Liberty View Farm is the best thing my husband and I have ever done. We were looking to have a small intimate wedding, but every venue tour we did still had a 75-100 person minimum and required a large cost requirement for catering. Then I happened upon The Wedding Foundry when researching micro weddings. We had one phone call with Billiam and immediately signed the contract, without even viewing the venue first. As a bride, the fact that they were including the venue, the officiant, photography, florals and catering was the best thing ever. It took so much stress off of me while planning this wedding, as I did not have to run around to different vendors. Billiam and Erica were extremely communicative and really took the time to learn what we were looking for. Day of, Billiam and his day of coordinator Cathy made sure the day ran perfectly. We were absolutely blown away from how beautiful our venue was. The florals they created made our wedding look like a fairy tale. Our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. Erica was an absolute pro with photography, really taking her time with my husband and I for our portraits. Throughout the night she made sure to capture every moment. Erica sent teasers to us within a week of our wedding and the photos are beautiful. The officiant, Michele, was amazing. She created the most personalized and beautiful ceremony that fit us perfectly. We loved how she included a hand-fasting ceremony as well. Multiple guests approached us to let us know that there was not a single dry eye during our ceremony. The Wedding Foundry truly created our perfect day. We are so happy with our intimate wedding, we had 46 of our closest friends and family and everyone truly enjoyed the day. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Hildegard and the SkyView staff! We planned our wedding less than a year out, and Hildegard was very accommodating and very responsive throughout the planning process - she was truly a pleasure to work with. On wedding day, we also had Jenn and Iwan helping out to make sure the day ran smoothly. We did our ceremony off-site so we cannot speak on that, but our cocktail hour and reception were absolutely awesome! We still have guests raving about how good the food was and how beautiful the venue and grounds are. You definitely get the best value for your money in terms of northern NJ wedding venues, and we couldn't recommend SkyView enough!

Words cannot even begin to describe how wonderful Mountainville Manor is. We got married there November of this year (2020) and we’ve been planning with them since the summer. Every step of the way Lauren and James have been so helpful. They try to accommodate every part of your dream wedding. You can’t beat their all inclusive microwedding packages! So much is included leaving you with much less to plan and much less stress! The food is amazing and the chef will accommodate your food allergies and preferences. (My husband still talks about how amazing the salmon was.) The chef even made a delicious special vegan dish for me for the big day. The cake was beautiful and tasty. It looked better than we envisioned. Waitstaff and bartender were so attentive and nice. Everything was perfect. Thanks to Lauren, James, and their team. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much!

There were quite a bit of rules and miscommunications along the way. This made the experience, especially during the end of the engagement season and the actual wedding day a bit dramatic and exhausting. However, this could be avoided if every single detail is ironed out from the very beginning and you are giving consistent reminders of what you're anticipating your day to be like. Overall, the venue is gorgeous and every single area of it is grounds for awesome photo-ops. On a gorgeous day, you will absolutely not regret choosing this location. Not only is it super affordable, but they also give you the freedom to pick your other vendors to create your ideal wedding (as almost everything else is kind of "a la carte"). A bonus is that you get the whole grounds on your wedding day, so that's exciting for you and your guests!

Don’t overlook the Short Hills Hilton for your wedding! It was the perfect location for our big day, offering a central gathering spot where our guests didn’t have to worry about traveling throughout the day. We explored several traditional venues, but none felt as right as this one. We had a November wedding and didn’t expect to have an outdoor ceremony, but the hotel’s lovely patio space was a wonderful option, and surprisingly, the noise from the JFK Parkway wasn’t an issue. For our indoor ceremony, the venue features a permanent enclosed tent structure. At first glance, it didn’t seem like much, but with the help of the event coordinator Vivian Cohen’s help and coordination with our florist, the space was transformed into something breathtaking. The reception space was spacious and perfect for our 170 guests—large enough for everyone to feel comfortable but not so big that it felt empty. Guests still rave about the food and service! The chef and maître d' truly deserve all the praise. The hors d’oeuvres were diverse and delicious, from sliders to a pasta bar to sushi. We chose the salmon and short ribs for dinner, which we selected during a private tasting session. The hotel grounds, filled with foliage, were perfect for photos, especially as we were lucky to have beautiful fall colors for our shoot. Victoria at the Hilton was incredibly helpful with coordinating room blocks, hotel room gift bags, and storage. Vivian was a dream to work with—she was welcoming, communicative, and made everything run smoothly. Her checklist was a lifesaver for keeping track of details, and she was hands-on with day-of coordination, ensuring everyone knew where they needed to be and helping with the little touches that made everything perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help make our wedding day unforgettable!

I simply cannot say enough in praise of il Tulipano. In July 2024 we held our wedding, and we could not have asked or prayed for better than what we were given! I am beyond satisfied with my wedding experience with Brooklake Country Club. We worked with Wendy and for 18 months, she guided us with her expertise and professionalism every step of the way. I could always rely on her to get back to us right away and do whatever was necessary to make our day memorable. The venue only hosts one event at a time, so on the day of your event, the entire staff is working tirelessly to make YOUR day run as smoothly as possible. On the day of my wedding, I did not have to worry about a thing. My bridal attendant, Michelle, was absolutely phenomenal. From morning until night, she was there to make my experience so much easier so that I could truly enjoy every minute of the experience. Along with Wendy, our Maitre D Natalia kept the day running without a misstep. My parents raved about the level of service they received at their table, and all my guests complimented me on the quality of food served. The venue has breathtaking views that are perfect for pictures and can be enjoyed from anywhere on the grounds. I am so in love with the Park Savoy and am so incredibly happy that we chose them for our reception! This estate is so timeless, elegant, and classy. The building itself is so naturally beautiful and has so much charm and character. I kept my own decor minimal because the building itself is just so beautiful. The whole staff was so helpful and organized during the planning process. They helped put all my anxieties at ease and allo They truly blew all of my expectations out of the water! Jess was my maitre d and she truly was my lifeline and was just absolutely amazing! Jess made sure everything I wanted to do was done and would tell us when certain events would take place or give us timing updates etc. I literally didn’t have to worry about one thing. I had the best bridal attendants. They had earpieces and were constantly communicating which helped everything run smoothly. I did not worry about one little detail, they got everything correct and helped bring my vision to life! I was so well taken care of, I never pushed in my own chair and the bridal attendants even made sure I was taken care of if I had to go to the bathroom. They took such good care of my parents and husband as well. We all felt like we were the only wedding they ever had and they had one earlier in the day and you would’ve never known! All of my guests have said over and over again how they have NEVER been to a wedding at a place like that. They were blown away by the amount of food at the cocktail hour not to mention how the food was displayed! Several of my friends and family who have attended many weddings and even had weddings themselves, said that Park Savoy was like nothing they had ever seen. One of my bridesmaids said it felt like a movie. Every table had its own waiter and every guest was taken care of with such great service. The whole night ran without any issues and Jess made sure everything was taken care of. The level of service and attention to detail that the whole staff has is honestly so refreshing and I truly felt like I was a celebrity! They know what they are doing and they are truly worth every penny! There is not one thing I would go back and change. I would just love to relive the day over again because it truly goes by so fast! I HIGHLY recommend this venue and would be happy to speak with anyone who is considering as these candid reviews helped me soo much in my booking and planning process. I will say- DO NOT HESITATE!!

I married a great couple at the Grand a few weeks ago, and it was handles just beautifully! The inside ceremony space is really pretty, (and having an alternative on a day when the garden is not a possibility is real plus), the cocktail hour area is really fun and "pub-like" with plenty of room for stations and a gorgeous bar. The staff there (our Maitre 'd was Sal) were so easy to work with and kept the proceedings moving along seamlessly. It's a terrific place to have a party, and I can't wait to be back again!

We absolutely loved our wedding venue! Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the space, and everything about the venue itself was perfect for our big day. The staff was generally great, and the venue itself exceeded our expectations. However, there were a couple of things that caught us off guard. First, when we went to drop off our decorations the day before the wedding, we were surprised to find large, dramatic Christmas decorations still in the foyer—something we were never informed would be there. Thankfully, the team worked with us to remove them, and by the morning of the wedding, everything was taken care of, which we really appreciated. Second, we were disappointed to find that the venue ran out of rum for our signature drink. We had clearly communicated that rum was a major ingredient, yet they only had two bottles for the entire night, which was nowhere near enough. It seemed like they completely forgot that rum was a key part of our signature cocktail, and it was frustrating to see our guests unable to enjoy it as planned. Lastly, after the wedding, we heard some concerning stories about the way the venue manager and team interacted with our vendors, particularly our wedding planner. Apparently, voices were raised, and things got very heated, with fingers being pointed at faces. It was heartbreaking to hear this, especially because it was completely at odds with the otherwise wonderful experience we had. It felt very unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, the venue itself was stunning, and the event went off beautifully, but these issues were frustrating and disappointing, especially when considering how much we loved everything else. If you decide to book here, just make sure to keep a close eye on the details and be aware of how the team handles interactions with vendors.

Gabe and the entire crew at HH knocked it out of the park. The entire day went flawlessly, they worked seamlessly with our vendors, set up the rooms better than I could have ever imagined. Not to mention the space itself/location is GORGEOUS….but funny enough, we booked the space for the insane views of NYC, but happened to get the foggiest day of December - it. Did. Not. Matter. !!! Hudson House KILLED IT and made our day beautiful, stunning, and perfect start to finish. Our guests are raving about the time they had.

This place is on the pricier side. However, I would say the venue is worth the money. We were married in the garden and had our reception in the grand ballroom. It was absolutely beautiful. I recently had my wedding at the Madison Hotel. I can say that my wedding was the wedding I always dreamed of. From beginning to end, the staff was very professional, especially my Maitre'd Joe Zimmerman and his assistant Jose. From the day of the rehearsal till the next day of the wedding they were fantastic. We held our rehearsal dinner at Rods and the food was phenomenal. The day of the wedding, the ceremony was held in the dreamy conservatory and the reception was in the grand ballroom. The transition went seamlessly. They worked very well with all my vendors, DJ, photographer, and string quartet. I had a decorator that they let her come in to stage early and when the conservatory and ballroom were available, they let her right in. They also provided us with a bridal suite for us the get ready in the day of. The whole staff was very attentive and courteous. The food was absolutely amazing at cocktail hour and the reception, we had no complaints! Two bars with top shelf liquor was available the whole night. At the end of the night we had a sparkler sendoff, the staff knew exactly what to do and it all worked out perfectly. We stood at the hotel both nights. The night of the rehearsal we had separate king size bedrooms and the wedding night they provide us with a complimentary honeymoon suite, which was amazing. I highly recommend the Madison Hotel.

We loved our wedding at Snug Harbor. Josephine & Jessica were thorough and very professional taking away a lot of the stress and anxiety that comes with a wedding day. We had two in person meetings, one in the beginning and one shortly before the wedding, and constant email contact. They made sure to have every single detail that was needed for the big day. We ran into 0 problems the day of the wedding (not that we know of at least, which is even nicer) thanks to them. Our bridal attendant the day of, Alva, was an angel. She helped me cheer up about the rain “ruining” the day. She was incredibly helpful when we were getting our pictures done making sure to have umbrellas for us and helping me hold my dress to make sure it didn’t get wet or dirty. The day went smoothly with little worry on our end thanks to the team at Snug Harbor. I would talk more on the grounds but I feel like that beauty speaks for itself.

If you’re looking for a stress free wedding, look no further. I can rave about our wedding forever, our event planner Alessandra Moss helped us every step of the way. Our guests enjoyed the heavenly cocktail hour and were impressed with the professionalism of the staff. Day of coordinator Jennifer was attentive and took care of all my bridal needs. We highly recommend booking Nicotras Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn for your wedding venue, we had a lot of guests traveling and it was easy for our guests to stay in the hotel. We shared our first look on the beautiful property, there are endless options for photo ops. We were able to take many photos and video inside and outside the venue. The ceremony took place outside on the Gazebo, it was absolutely stunning, the weather was perfect. Alessandra met with us regularly in person and was easily accessible via email. She walked us through the wedding planning and guided us on the next steps of the process. It was a great relief that the venue took care of a lot of the details, and we used one of their vendors Red Carpet Events for decor/flowers and they were fantastic.

Glasshouse Chelsea was the perfect backdrop to our wedding day. Although the weather was perfect, this venue's value is its beauty in every weather and in every light of day or night. We worked with both Chelsee and Nikki and they were both professional and gracious. Their communication style was direct, prompt and transparent. Nikki even found us cocktail napkins at the last minute, helping the bar service. The venue itself, both the 21st floor and 14th floor, was stunning, upscale and practical. At first, I thought that elevator traffic might be an issue, but it was seamless throughout the night. The balcony was the perfect golden-hour-to-sunset photo background and proved to be a nice respite from the dance floor throughout the night. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue.

Our guests and we had a wonderful experience at Le District at our wedding in May 2022. Since our family abroad couldn't make it to the wedding, we were only looking for a space to host a dinner for our 50 or so friends and we thought about Liberty Bistro in Le District since we used to live in the BPC area and had brunch there and we thought the interior design was beautiful and the size of the place fit our needs perfectly. The location is just perfect by the waterfront with an amazing river view and there is also an oval lawn right outside in which we thought about doing the ceremony but unfortunately, we eventually had to do it at Belvedere Plaza 200 feet away since it just so happened that the lawn was closed for maintenance that day. The Liberty Bistro restaurant was able to book out the entire indoor dining space for us without venue fees provided that we meet a spending minimum on food and wine. We had a great experience nailing down the food and drink menu with them - the restaurant had great options and communications were effortless. We were able to bring our own flowers and balloons and our friends DIY'ed the decorations though there wasn't too much to decorate since the space already looked nice and sweet. We also had our own seating plan which involved moving the tables and chairs and Le District was able to help us with it too, apart from the booths which cannot be physically moved. The night went smoothly; we were able to hook up an iPad to the sound system and play our own hand-picked wedding playlist; The guests enjoyed a 3-course prix-fixe menu (with additional vegetarian options); we also did our first dance under the beautiful tree in the center of the restaurant. At the end of the night, when we net out a few hundred under the min. spend, the restaurant was able to throw in a couple of champagne bottles for us to take home. We wish we could share photos of that wonderful evening to show how great it was and we really appreciate Le District for the great food and drinks, service, and communications, and just for being the place where it all happened.

We recently held our daughters micro-wedding at Bottino. It was a last minute decision as we had already changed her original wedding date to June of 2021 but the couple still wanted to get married on their original date. Danny, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive and easy to work. The event was put together in less than a month. Everything was great - the outdoor garden is lovely and the food and service were wonderful. The staff was very attentive. I have just rebooked the venue for the bridal shower (doing things a little backward I know). I highly recommend.

People are still talking about our wedding. The food, service, views, everything is exceptional and worth every penny. Multiple people have said that it’s the best wedding they have ever been to. The cocktail hour had at least 8x the amount of food (passed and stations) as any wedding we had been to. There is a Mediterranean station, sushi bar, raw bar, dim sum station, martini bar, and more. Then you get to choose 8 passed appz (including lobster rolls, crab cakes, lamb chops, and more). We really cannot say more positive things about Tribeca rooftop!

Skinos hosted our engagement party with 100 guests, where we reserved the first floor. Everything from the communication and logistics to the service and atmosphere was beyond amazing! In the pre-planning, they were accommodating, kind and a pleasure to work with. At the event, they were organized, had great music and had friendly quick bartending service. Their drinks were amazing and the place was stunning - all of our guests kept commenting on how beautiful it was.

We cannot recommend Houston Hall enough as a wedding venue! The staff was excellent-they helped us plan the entire timeline of the day and ensured everything ran smoothly. Christon was so amazing and absolutely nailed it. We got so many compliments from our guests about how attentive the service was, and that they absolutely loved the food! Who doesn’t love comfort food at a wedding!? This venue is so unique and is such a gem in New York City. It held so many guests and had such a great rustic vibe. As I planned our surprise engagement, I wanted to choose a location to go after that moment to celebrate with a larger group of friends and family that resonated with both of us, so our local wine spot, Temperance, was perfect. Having no idea whether they would even consider a private party I reached out through an email on the website and quickly realized how kind and accommodating the staff was. We were able to rent out the back patio and fully customize the space with our own set up and outside decorations. As a part of the space rental we were allowed an allotment of more than enough food and, more importantly, a customized collection of reds, whites, oranges and rosès. I’d recommend letting the staff pick the specific wines, they’re the experts after all (they did pick one special wine just for us and immediate family based on my specific request, but I like to pretend that was just for me). It was the perfect place to celebrate with around 25 of our closest friends and family. The one downside was they have a hard cutoff of 10pm due to some vocal neighbors but the staff was very upfront throughout the booking process that that was going to be the case, so there were no surprises. Additionally, because of how much we love the aesthetic inside near the bar and the room fronting Carmine Street, we also asked if we could start our engagement photo shoot at Temperance before they opened one night. Once again, we were met with a staff that went out of their way to help us anyway they could and even gave us a glass of wine each to take the edge off of some poses that feel extremely ridiculous in the moment, but turned out to be great pictures. We were as happy with those pictures as we were with both of those experiences at Temperance.

We had our wedding reception on the rooftop and also stayed in the penthouse suite and it was the best experience we could have asked for! Krystal and Sophie went WAY above and beyond to make our celebration and our stay go smoothly and something we will never forget! The cocktails were delicious, everyone was accomodating (including complimentary champagne in the room) and the Japanese soaking tub on the roof was sublime! Soaking in the tub with the view of the Empire State Building is a night I’ll look forward to repeating… and I would recommend for anyone else to do the same!
