Eric and Alyssa were so awesome to work with! They were at the ready with any questions we had, and went above and beyond to help set everything up for our day. From the onset when we first started talking to Bill and his team, he was attentive to our vision. His thoughtfulness, communication, and feedback helped put our minds at ease during the whole planning process. The mansion really is a one stop shop, especially if you have a more intimate wedding planned. Glassware, stemware, cutlery, and dishes are all available for the reception. We had our wedding in the fall and knew that we wanted amber glasses/ decor for the event and had let Bill know we were purchasing some of this for our guests to use. What we didn’t expect was for him to give us access to all of the existing decor in the mansion that matched our aesthetic. You’re truly not just getting a fantastic venue; you’re working with an amazing person. We also originally planned to have a tent for the reception (which Bill gave a list of recommended places to rent from), as well as our ceremony in a different part of the venue. We changed our mind as the wedding got closer and Bill was not only flexible with this, but supportive and understanding. He helped us layout where we wanted certain decorations to go, how the seating should be arrange, and helped us map out what the day of the wedding would look like. He was so professional and was arguably as excited about our wedding as we were. Leading up to the day of the wedding, some of our guests were staying at the mansion. Bill and his team prepared the rooms for our guests and even made the moments before the wedding memorable as well. They had full use of the mansion and he was a call away if anything was needed. The backyard was decorated with strings of lights, a dance floor, and he had both pews and chairs for our guests to sit in during the ceremony. As for the venue itself, it was originally built by a furniture manufacture near the early twentieth century. The incredibly detailed woodwork throughout the house and in the historic dining room furniture reflect this history beautifully. The downstairs has two fireplaces that made perfect locations for family and group photographs. A freak thunderstorm delayed our departure from the venue, and once again, Bill came through by allowing us to stay an additional night there to ensure our travels were safe. You really can search across the country, but we truly don’t believe you will find a better venue or team than you would here. It made a potentially stressful event into such an amazing start to our marriage.

Having our wedding at the Oscar Event Center was magical! We just got married, 6/22/24. The venue is beautiful and full of character that you would expect with it being connected to Jungle Jim’s. We worked with Josie from start to finish with all the planning and she made it such an easy process. She was very knowledgeable and brought up great ideas during planning, and was so friendly and easy to communicate with through it all! The food and bar set up was an easy hit with guests. I cannot recommend Josie and the Oscar enough!! Absolutely 11/10.

The Factory was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. April was super responsive and accommodating in planning our day! We would however recommend a wedding planner/coordinator which was an option within the venue packages. We went without a planner and had to scramble to orchestrate some details the day of. Small details, but overall a great experience and would absolutely recommend for couples that are looking for a more casual wedding day!

We had our ceremony and reception here and it was beautiful. There is a huge parking lot that made it easy for our guests who wanted to drive to do so and for our limo to pick us up. The entry way is spacious and has a security guard up front for the entire night. There was a beautiful staircase but also elevators for our guests with mobility issues. There were bathrooms both upstairs and downstairs as well. The venue itself is so beautiful we really needed minimal décor for it. There are awesome lights, barrels that were used as tables, and so much character to the space. Our bar package was through them as well. We hesitated when we saw the beer list (no IPS, craft, or seltzer options), but it ended up being perfect. Their open bar high-end option had plenty of other choices of liquor and wine our guests could also choose from and had a great time. The team did a great job – they set up all of the tables and chairs exactly like we wanted, did a great job running the bar, and gave us exactly what we needed. They were very kind and flexible with us as we asked questions throughout the process. Would highly recommend getting married here!

I've been a vendor at Drees for their entire 20-year history. The obvious thing to say is the facility and view are amazing. But to me, it's the consistency with which they take care of their clients and treat the vendors like part of the team to create a perfect experience for their clients.

The Backstage Event Center was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From our very first interaction, the staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive, making the planning process stress-free. Prior to the wedding they worked with us to plan the order of events and helped us plan our vision for decorations. On the day of, they executed our vision flawlessly and made the set up and rehearsal process so easy. Elenya and her team even improvised when we lost the cord to our neon name sign before drop off and they searched everywhere until they found a backup. The Backstage's combination of stunning exposed brick, warm lighting, and flexible layout allowed us to create the perfect ambiance for our special day. The celebration was perfect from start to finish and everyone was on the floor dancing all night. The entire time the event team was there to help, and they even boxed all of our decorations up for an easy pick up the next day. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to bring our wedding dreams to life.

The Center was the perfect venue for our wedding! The space is absolutely beautiful and it’s perfect for couples like us who wanted to have their ceremony and reception in the same place. We had our ceremony in the dome room and our reception in the main ball room and it was absolutely beautiful! We got tons of compliments and how great the space was from our guests. It’s extremely convenient with many parking garages within a few blocks as well as various hotels nearby for guests to stay in. The staff at The Center is absolutely wonderful and even with all of the new restrictions that came with COVID they made sure we still had the perfect wedding. Katie was great and kept us up to date during all the craziness that was going on this spring and always answered any questions we had ASAP. I can not recommend The Center enough!!!
