Trigg Banquet Center was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication style was great, as they were responsive via email and also met with us in person to ensure all the details were handled. The table decor they provided was beautiful and really elevated the look of the reception space. The food was amazing - they catered it themselves and everyone raved about the delicious dinner. My wedding was held at Woods Fort on the golf course and we used the clubhouse for our reception. Everyone from start to finish was seamless. The food was excellent, the decor was pretty and the price was very reasonable. Jamie did an amazing job keeping us on time, keeping us happy and our guests and making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend!

I can't say enough great things about The Piazza Messina—it was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, everything went smoothly, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Planning our wedding was a breeze, thanks to Avery and Mark. They were so responsive and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. We never felt overwhelmed or stressed, which is a huge win, especially while in the middle of our last year of college. The staff were incredible—quick, efficient, and super friendly. They took care of everything so seamlessly that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Jeff met my parents when they visited the venue for a meeting and they mentioned how friendly and easy he was to talk to. They knew what we needed before we even asked. Since the venue is owned by Russo’s Catering, the food was fantastic. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. The bar service was equally impressive; drinks were served smoothly and they even included our signature drinks. The ceremony was stunning because the venue itself was gorgeous, and we even had the delightful surprise of deer peeking through in the background. It added a magical touch that our guests are still talking about. Even though we weren’t there to see it, we heard the cleanup was done in record time. The staff’s efficiency was clear, and it was great knowing they handled everything so well. I even got to talk to Justin who was overseeing our event and was ensuring every detail was how we wanted it. Overall, The Piazza Messina made our wedding day truly unforgettable. If you’re looking for a venue with fantastic service, amazing food, and a beautiful setting, this is the place. We’re so grateful for everything they did and couldn’t recommend them more!

When we were looking for a reception hall for our 10/10/20 wedding way back in 04/19 we chose Orlando’s. For the price it’s a great value. Then we did the food tasting and we felt great about our choice. The food was wonderful! Next came Covid...throughout the process Mike and Laurie made sure to listen to our concerns and they had a great sense of humor along the way. Our reception was the least stressful part of the whole day and if I could give them 6 stars I would!

I highly recommend Marriott STL West as a venue for your wedding / wedding reception. We had both our ceremony and reception there on NYE. The ballroom is clean and beautiful. The food included with the package was amazing! Way better quality than traditional “hotel food”. Multiple guests thought we had it catered! The staff is wonderful!!! Maggie is so easy to work with and helpful. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but the staff really made this experience painless!

The Hilton delivers it all! We loved that their wedding package includes catering, bar, tables, chairs, linens/etc., which really reduced some of the wedding planning stress. (They do allow couples to rent their own if they have a different vision.) Also, their event coordinators are very experienced and gave great recommendations in planning and in managing the day of the event. We truly enjoyed our day because the team at the Hilton Frontenac was handling everything so wonderfully! Our guests loved that they could stay in the same place as the wedding reception, and everyone reported having a great stay with the hotel. As bride and groom, we loved being able to go right upstairs to change shoes, etc. We even had leftover wedding cake brought up to our room which was a real treat! In addition to the wedding reception, we hosted our rehearsal dinner and farewell brunch at the Hilton. True to form, they did an amazing job, and the convenience factor really added to an enjoyable experience! The Hilton Frontenac can do it all! They have practically everything you need for your wedding planning and their team executes it expertly. Some people say that their wedding day flies by because there is so much going on. Because of the amazing staff and experience provided by the Frontenac Hilton, we truly enjoyed every minute of our day! We recommend them wholeheartedly!!!

Walnut Hall Estate has EVERYTHING (and I do mean everything!) you need for a stress free wedding weekend. I've had three daughters get married since 2019 and I've explored LOTS of venues in the process of helping choose each one... Walnut Hall beats the rest by a landslide. You just cannot find the number of amenities offered HERE, anywhere else, and it makes Walnut Hall my "forever pick" for the best place to hold a wedding! To start... you have the use of not ONE but FOUR separate areas (not to mention the beautiful "grounds" which include an old silo, koi pond, tree swing, firepit patios, outdoor light strings, etc). The most standout feature is the huge brick turn-of-the-century home that is dripping with character and photo "ops". The house truly can sleep a LOT of guests and it is very tastefully decorated. It even includes a "grooms quarters" in the basement complete with couch/tv and poker/pool tables. You have the Ceremony (former Dairy) Barn which comes complete with beautiful chandeliers and seating in the form of traditional pews as well as individual (nice) chairs. There are concrete sidewalks that link the Ceremony Barn with the Reception Venue (the white barn with huge wood doors). The reception area has absolutely everything including mens/womens restrooms, kitchen, bar, DJ area, greenery wall (which is a perfect backdrop for a dessert table). They have enough tables and chairs to seat a very large guest list (ours seated over 300 VERY comfortably!). There are long rustic wood tables for the head table (my daughter's head table seated 18!) With such a gorgeous space, MINIMAL decor is needed. The cherry on top was the ADDITIONAL guest house (which is where my daughter and her new husband spent their first night as husband and wife... wink wink:) Though it could have ALSO been a perfect place for parents/grandparents as it has two bedrooms, living room, full kitchen, etc. Add to this the fact that Brittany & Bobby (owners) were both attentive as well as AMAZING to work with and you have a combination for everything an event venue SHOULD be, but oftentimes is not! This is their passion and it shows. Due to having use of the property for the entire weekend, not only were we able to start decorating on Friday (important when you have a 20' U-Haul filled to the brim) AND we were able to host the Rehearsal Dinner "on site", which was huge in that we could "rehearse" and then just steps away have the beautiful meal, catered by The Brass Door (local restaurant who are pro's at providing services at Walnut Hall). The girls had a "girls night" in the big house on Friday and then the entire wedding party stayed on Saturday. Directly across the street is the Greene County Fairgrounds (with electric/water for anyone who might want to pull in a camper for the weekend) as well as several very nice VRBO's in the town of Carrollton. I simply could not find ONE THING that could have made our daughter's wedding any better and we are ETERNALLY grateful for that. If you're on the fence... let this help you decide...as I was not compensated in ANY WAY for this review... just a mom & dad who were 100% satisfied...you will be too! Hopefully I can come back, when we've gotten the photographer's pictures back, and post photos!

We were married at Laumeier Sculpture Park in 1999, so when our 25th Silver Anniversary rolled around this year we decided to do it again!! This park has always been a favorite of ours since high school - so to return to the original spot meant so much to us. The staff at Laumeier are just amazing! They were quick with responses to questions and went above and beyond with the planning. We live out of town and they were gracious enough to meet with me when I came to town a few weeks before to walk through everything ahead of time. The day of, the staff did everything possible to accommodate our wishes and be sure other park goers knew that the space was saved for a wedding. We just cannot say enough about this park and venue for weddings. Beautiful setting, easy to access for all the guests and top notch staff - hopefully we will do it again when the Golden Anniversary comes around!! If you’re thinking of holding a wedding here, please do!! It is a magical place and photos after are so much fun!

The Barnett was the BEST choice for a wedding venue. It is so beautiful and all of our guests adored it. You barely have to decorate because it is so pretty. It is small and intimate and the stairs were perfect to have our wedding party come down. They have both an indoor and outdoor bar and had fantastic bartenders. There is a secure parking lot and they do offer valet as an add on. Working with Joe was seriously the best. He is so helpful and makes the process so much more fun.

For the quality and uniqueness of the venue, the pricing was very reasonable. We couldn't have asked for a better space or a more dedicated owner to host our special day. Nicholas' attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made our wedding day truly memorable and stress-free. Cedar Creek was above and beyond what we could have asked for in a venue. Our biggest priority when looking at venues was that all of our guests could stay on site, and that it was a beautiful venue with indoor/outdoor options for ceremony and reception. When we found Cedar Creek, we were instantly in love, and knew it was our venue. We could not have anticipated how hospitable they would be before and especially on our wedding weekend. Mark is an incredibly kind and generous property manager. He made quite a few accommodations for my husband's grandparents, drove them pretty much everywhere on the golf cart, and went above and beyond for all of our other guests. Sky is the best day of coordinator we could have asked for. She was calm, present, and very organized. She was able to keep me (an event manager myself) calm and unaware of any issues that were occurring. Our timeline ended up being off for the reception, and she came in with a plan for us, instead of asking what we wanted to do. I could not have gotten through the day without her! There are countless other moments where she was incredibly helpful, but that one stuck out the most to us. Chef Todd is an incredible chef. We cannot praise him enough, and got lots of compliments from our guests! He was accommodating for all of our dietary restrictions, makes incredible breakfasts as well, and overall did a fantastic job. All of the other staff that we encountered was also so hospitable and kind. If you are looking at getting married, we cannot recommend Cedar Creek enough. Your guests will love it, and so will you! We hosted a Hindu wedding ceremony and reception at the Magnolia. I wish it were possible to give more than 5 stars because our experience was incredible. Emily, the event manager, was kind, communicative, extremely accommodating (as Indian weddings can be a lot), and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her and team for our wedding. The presidential suite was stellar for getting ready photos, and the ballroom and rooftop provided perfect backdrops for photos. The staff worked with our vendors seamlessly. Couldn't recommend more!
