Constructed in 1905, this historic venue provides a timeless backdrop for your event - day or night. Our elegant ballroom boasts 30-foot ceilings with lots of natural light from bordering windows, shimmering golden chandeliers, a beautifully framed 30-foot-wide stage, and a candlelit mezzanine to bring a warm glow to your evening. This grand space can entertain up to 300, with no shortage of AirBnBs and surrounding hotels to make celebrations even easier for travelling guests! Highly Recommend!
We had the most incredible experience with our wedding at the Franklin of Soulard! With a top notch crew, Christina and Danny are an absolute delight to work with, and were such a kind, welcoming, and professional presence throughout the entire wedding planning process. Cate, Nichole, and Emily guided us through every step of the journey with helpful advice, all while listening to our desires and making them come true! Truly, we couldn't ask for a better experience with the team at the Franklin. No detail was missed, and the wedding day went off without a hitch due to their professional diligence in creative a positive, joyful, and FUN atmosphere! Not only is the venue itself stunning, but Danny, Christina, and their team is what really seals the deal. From the moment we first inquired, we were immediately put at ease from the professionalism, kindness, and passion Christina and Danny have for their work. We felt supported throughout the entire process, received immediate answers to anything we had questions about, and are so honored to have been able to experience the magic of the space Christina and Danny have created. The bridal suite is a beautiful space and such a perk to be able to get ready in, the food was delicious, the entire staff was friendly and kind, and I feel like I need to pull out a thesaurus to find more nice words to say about the Franklin! We'd do it all over again in a heartbeat and grateful doesn't even begin to cover how we feel. Thank you a million!!!
The BEST People
We got married just over a week ago at the Franklin after booking nearly 2 years ahead of time and genuinely can not say enough about how amazing this venue, management, and staff were. When we met Christina and Danny on our tour we pretty much knew immediately that the Franklin was perfect for our wedding day not only because the venue is absolutely stunning (which it 100% is) but also because of how much Christina and Danny cared about their work and making our day special. Leading up to our wedding we had our tasting which was so much fun and felt like an event in itself, we worked with Cate and Emily (members of the Franklin management team) on our final details which made the day go so smoothly, had our decoration set up (they were so accommodating with time and giving us access to anything we needed, it made everything so easy), and lastly our rehearsal which Emily helped lead and with her guidance we were in and out in no time with all of the knowledge and practice we needed for the big day! And as if all of that wasn’t amazing our wedding day was so perfect largely because of how much work the franklin team put in for us. They helped us with anything we asked and worked with our vendors beautifully. The food was fantastic, Emily helped with day of coordination and was flawless, and the rest of the team was onsite almost the whole day. Our guests (and us of course) were so blown away by the venue and the team. If you have a wedding coming up PLEASE check out this venue and meet their team you will not regret it!
Perfect City Venue, Great Value for Money
Our September 2024 Wedding at The Franklin was an absolute dream! We were looking for a unique venue with a capacity of at least 250 people that would highlight the charm of the City of St. Louis. The Franklin met our needs perfectly! Christina, Danny, and their team went above and beyond to meet every need and expectation. During the planning process, the thing I appreciated most about the Franklin was their pricing transparency - we got exactly what we bargained for the year prior at the price we agreed on with no surprise fees, charges, or need to upgrade at the last minute, which is a level of transparency not all our vendors provided. On the day of the space was set exactly according to our floor plan, the signature cocktails were delicious (not watered down or tasting like they were made hours before), there were NEVER lines at the bar, and the room was beautifully lit by at least 100 candles on the mezzanine level. Dinner was served on time and efficiently to our more than 200 guests and we loved that there was a perfect spot for our photo booth - plus we were able to use the Franklin's backdrop and neon sign. Danny and Christina were a dream to work with, their space is beautiful, and they made our dreams come true (including my dad's dream of a late night chicken finger bar)! Highly recommend The Franklin!
A wedding I’ll never forget!
The Franklin team did an amazing job executing my wedding. Christina and Daniel were so helpful. If I had any questions they were always available to email or speak to. Even if it was over a year until my big day! I am so glad I trusted them with the most important day of my life. I am left speechless when I think about how perfect all the little details were. The food options we tried at the tasting were all delicious and beautifully plated. All my guests were impressed by the food and the staff. My photographer was able to capture some incredible photographs because of how gorgeous The Franklin is. A unique factor The Franklin has is their lounge area. My guests loved taking photos in front of the grass wall and using the cocktail tables. Thank you Christina, Daniel, and The Franklin team for making my wedding a day I will never forget!
