Welcome. The Alice Collective is a community-minded event space in the heart of downtown Oakland. We are able to host a wide variety of events from rehearsal dinners to seated dinners to happy hours to full day workshops. The 4,000 sq ft of flexible space is filled with local art, a fully stocked bar and two landscaped patios. We have an experienced staff standing by to help create a memorable experience at The Alice!

Located at the edge of Jack London Square, you’ll follow a rainbow serape into an outdoor oasis known as the Bay Area’s first margarita garden. NIDO’s BackYard focuses on seasonal Mexican cuisine along with a curated list of agave spirits and cocktails. Our Motto is “Mi Backyard es Sú Backyard” welcoming all to enjoy Oakland’s beautiful weather (shine & the occasional rain!), margaritas, buenas vibras, and fun times in our BackYard. ¡Que comience la fiesta!

Sequoyah Country Club is nestled among Monterey Pines and Redwoods in the hills of Oakland, California. The hotel's signature space is the Skyline Ballroom on the 21st floor, which features floor-to-ceiling bay windows, views of the breathtaking San Francisco Bay, and accommodates up to 180 people.

The Oakland Scottish Rite Center was completed in 1927, with over a thousand craftsmen working on the project. The construction cost was approximately $1.5 million. This was a sizeable sum at the time equivalent to about $22 million today. From ground breaking to completion the edifice was erected in just two years. This is the second temple in Oakland built from the ground up by the Scottish Rite Masonic fraternity since 1883, when it was first chartered in Oakland.

With whimsical sets, 10 acres of beautifully tended gardens, colored fairy lights, and a picturesque setting on the shores of Lake Merritt, our park is the ideal venue for a one-of-a-kind wedding. We offer a canopied amphitheater with both indoor and outdoor seating options, an expansive lawn, water features, and a number of themed areas perfect for receptions and sit-down dinners. Guests will delight in discovering a pirate ship and dragons or taking a ride on the iconic Jolly Trolly train. The Chapel of Peace offers a picturesque backdrop for wedding and engagement photos. Hi, my name is Iso, one of the founders of Forage Kitchen. Since 2017, our mission has been to support Oakland entrepreneurs by providing kitchen space, promotional help, and event organization. To support that mission, we rent our space throughout the year for weddings, corporate events, and parties of all kinds. Our space offers a full commercial kitchen, great outdoor space with overhead lighting, and most importantly, a fully stocked bar! With seating capacity for 160 and standing room for 230, it’s great for events of all kinds, and live music is always welcome!

In 1994, Just Dance Ballroom began its operation near Downtown Oakland with the vision to spread the love of dance to many and all. Over the decade, the Just Dance Ballroom family grew bigger, and thus, the dream to relocate to a grand space came to fruition on September 16, 2006. Since then, Just Dance Ballroom has shared its halls with dancers, entertainers, family, and friends from all around the world. With 26 years (and counting) of experience under its belt, Just Dance Ballroom is proud to be considered by many to be the destination for dance and entertainment in the Bay Area.
