“Scott and his team from the Music Boutique were absolutely amazing in everyway possible (total package of amazing people, professionals, and just so talented) . If you like, read no further and just hire them (seriously!!)! If you are like me and need to hear a personal experience for convincing; here goes: being a postponed 2020 covid bride who changed location within 3 months - working with Scott and his team was seamless . From my first email to the Music Boutique, Scott (the owner) responded within 24 hours with everything I had inquired about. We emailed several times since then with what I thought were annoying or silly questions, but he answered everything in full detail and even spoke on the phone with me several times. Going above and beyond, he even went as far as telling me about how the ceremony usually goes and what others have done (as I was pretty confused). He was able to play every random song I requested. He played piano along with a violinist for my ceremony, and had a awesome saxophone player, Geoff for part of my reception. Geoff was able to also play some pretty random songs (hooks to old school rap) along with my DJ (DJ Joey G from Jade Productions who was also great). Overall - I could not recommend Scott and his team more. Hope this helps you pick them!”

“Lindsay Straw performed for the ceremony and cocktail hour at our outdoor wedding in 2019 and was absolutely magical. She has an incredibly beautiful voice and set the perfect mood for our wedding. So many of our guests came up to us during our reception and after the wedding to comment on how wonderful Lindsay was and we couldn't agree more! We still receive comments on her performance almost 5 years later! Lindsay was also incredibly professional and so easy to work with. We went to see her perform at the Arlington Farmer's Market and met with her after to discuss booking her. She was so helpful and her music was so lovely at the farmer's market that we knew we had to book her. We are so happy that we did! She made the whole process seamless and it was fabulous not to have to worry about the music at all. Our wedding was also outside on the hottest day of the year and Lindsay didn't bat an eye! We can't recommend her highly enough and would strongly encourage anyone to book her for their event.”

My husband is a musician so music was one of the most important aspects of the wedding for him and DJ Kevin met his high standards. Leading up to the wedding, Kevin was informative, communicative, and has the type of personality that helps melt the stress away (and I couldn't have appreciated that more in the last week before the wedding!). He was also adaptable without judgement which is sometimes in short supply in the wedding industry but goes a long, long way in my book. For the wedding, we created playlists for the different sections of the wedding, and Kevin knew just how to make our vision come to life --playing the right songs at just the right time and helping the wedding flow seamlessly. He also helped curate the perfect mood for dancing with his light design, and his new Photo Booth add on gave our guests an endless source of enjoyment when they needed to catch their breath off the dance floor. (And even more enjoyment for us when we got to see all the pictures and gifs people took after the wedding!). And if all that wasn't enough already, he even volunteered to take pictures during our sparkler exit and captured one of my favorite pictures of the whole day! If I ever needed to plan a big event again in the future, the choice for DJ is already made.”

“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

In addition to playing at many weddings and events in the New York City / New England area the duo have performed in many countries around the world, both together and separately.

“We had Emmet and Naomi for our indoor December wedding, the venue was a log cabin style lodge. They were a perfect match and we were so glad we chose them. They learned one of our favorite songs for the opening to our ceremony, playing a beautiful instrumental version of it. Our guests loved the music, that it was accessible for everyone, young and old alike. We had toddlers dancing in front of the band, but the guests seated closest to the band during dinner could still carry on a conversation easily. A lot of people really appreciated this, that they could add ambiance and energy without overpowering you. We especially want to thank them for traveling through the blizzard conditions to be there that weekend. We were hoping for a snowy winter wedding, and we got all the snow we could handle that weekend! He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. They learned our first dance song- Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves and put their own flair to it, which we loved. They are such a fun mix of rock, jazz, bluegrass, country and played a good mix of songs for all ages.
