He was such a pleasure to meet with ahead of time and asked us tons of questions to really understand our vision for the evening. He was truly a delight and even wore black, per my very annoying request :) He also had me get on the DJ board (just pretending) and it was a huge hit! Very fun, very adaptable! Summit Events Co. uses an app for all of your music and timeline needs and it was SUPER easy to use. It connects to Spotify, Youtube, and a few other platforms so I could just upload my playlists I had already worked on and it made everything really fast. We also got a photobooth which was AMAZING. It's hard to know when planning a wedding what is worth the extra cost but this hands down was worth it. Our attendant was such an angel and multiple people came up to me after to tell me how cool she was! Their pricing is super reasonable - very in line with other vendors I found and Ben was able to accommodate our specific budget while still making our vision come to life. Overall I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Summit Events Co!”

“We chose DJ Karizma for our February wedding in Va Beach this year and first things first, his organization, communication and responsiveness were top tier. He had ceremony and reception worksheets, and song suggestions for us to review and complete which made it very easy to communicate all of our music preferences. He responded within a day or two to any questions that we had via email and text. We had a lot of expectations for our DJ such as the specific songs we chose for the ceremony, the grand entrances, reception and dance floor. We asked him to also add in some reggae vibes and all of his selections were a perfect fit for our guests. We needed his MC assistance with announcements for the audio guestbook and QR codes for the seating chart and disposable camera photo capture. He covered these announcements during cocktail hour as expected. He made sure all those that were giving a toast/speech were prepped and ready for their turn. He announced all of big moments such as the cake cutting, family dances, bouquet toss, garter toss..etc. He hosted our Photo Table Dash game and co-hosted our mini Newlywed game and his energy and enthusiasm were just what our celebration needed! We were impressed with him staying on top of everything we asked for. Our only disappointment was due to where the venue had the DJ set up (behind a curtain which obstructed his view) so our grand entrance music was cut short unexpectedly. We wish we would have communicated our expectation better with the venue as they were our day of coordinators and were supposed to be the DJ's "eyes." However, we would choose DJ Karizma again without hesitation for future events. Thank you so much DJ Karizma for making our wedding fun, hype and such a delight!!!!”

We did a lot of research into DJs during the planning process as we knew it was an important role and could mean the difference between a fun wedding and an awkward one. “Our coordinator at Wyndridge Farms recommended we book Baltimore Event Solutions and specifically request "Korey with a K." After just a few minutes of viewing the photos and videos of gigs he had posted on his Facebook page we knew he was our guy. He reaffirmed this decision during our intro call when the first thing he said to us was, "Just know on your wedding day, I've got you." We instantly knew we were in great hands. Korey exceeded all expectations, from his in-depth phone calls leading up to the wedding to his oozing charisma and passion during the reception. He did a fantastic job of engaging with our guests, friends, and family while also allowing everyone to have their moment to shine. His remixes and overlays of songs drove our crowd nuts, and he perfectly captured our 80s, 90s, and early 2000s interests all night long. There was one particular transition between two songs that was the best we've ever heard, and the crowd LOVED it. We’re over a month out from the big day and people are still telling us that it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. Korey was also accommodating with requests and announcements during the reception ensuring dinner ran smoothly before dancing began. From the start, Mark went far above and beyond what was included in our contract. He spent countless hours helping us curate our wedding timeline, reviewing my very Type A spreadsheets, and offering thoughtful guidance. He honestly felt more like a second wedding planner than just a DJ during the planning process. And the lights. The lighting setup and light show were unreal and completely elevated the entire experience. Mark truly curates the music and the atmosphere to you as a couple, not just a generic wedding crowd. He has a worksheet to fill out with any specific songs for certain parts of the evening or for the reception dance floor, and by the end of the night he had gotten to every requested song. He was even able to throw in the Eagles fight song for the groom! There were a few moments in the night that we let CJ decide the music for and he chose the perfect songs to fit the vibe. He was great at reading the dance floor and adjusting to the crowd, and he had some fun mixes of well known songs to switch things up. On more than one occasion our guests raved about CJ through the night, and we couldn't have been happier with his work.”
