Mrs. Arlene is the sweetest and most welcoming vendor I ever spoke with. She ensured that all the details for how we wanted the day to go was discussed. She offered different vendors that we could work with. She worked with my tight budget for my small wedding and made our day more special that I could’ve dreamed of. She was consistent with checking in with me which was greatly appreciated since I was planning my own wedding and was super busy with work and everything else. She was there the day of the wedding helping out in all the ways she could, she even fixed me and my husband’s plates so we can sit down and relax. Her team of photographers are the absolute best and were so sweet. Over all the whole experience was amazing and I can’t recommend her enough. She honestly feels like family and on top of everything the venue is beautiful! It’s an 1800 century that they’ve renovated, but kept all of its charm. If you’re looking for a small venue for a baby shower, wedding, birthday party. This is perfect! I am definitely going back for future events.

We got married at The Chapel on Sycamore in April and it was everything that we had hoped for! The chapel itself is gorgeous with the dark wood interior and stained glass, and the outdoor space in the spring was perfect for everything from photos to cocktail hour gathering. We had 200 guests and the space was accommodating. Lisa was with us to coordinate our day from the very start and was incredibly prepared, responsive, timely, and helpful in answering my many questions throughout the planning process. She met me at the Chapel to visit multiple times to look at the space as I was planning the event. We used Oakhurst Market, a preferred caterer, for our food and got many compliments (and loved the food ourselves!). We loved the location in Decatur near restaurants and bars for our guests and the ease of travel and proximity to the city and it was easy to book parking for our guests nearby with Lisa's assistance. I would highly recommend The Chapel on Sycamore as an excellent wedding/event venue with lovely and helpful staff. The pictures included are by OliviaRosePhotography.

This was the perfect venue to my wedding. The event spaces are part of a conference center which is attached to the Hotel. The Avalon area is great with many restaurants and shops. The hotel staff and event manager were amazing and so helpful throughout the weekend. We had a two day Indian wedding, and the event coordinator from the hotel was familiar with most of the events we wanted to host as part of the wedding like the Sangeet and Barat. Highly recommend, 10/10.

In 2001, they opened a linen rental business in downtown Chamblee that serviced the most prestigious clients in the Atlanta area. From Turner Field to Bacchanalia we learned the ins and outs of being hospitable to the hospitality industry. In 2016, we sold the business, and in 2017 we renamed the space to Factory Atlanta. The Roswell Mill Club was hands down the prettiest venue we saw when we first got engaged and they turned out to be THE BEST VENDOR! Jacob Jones was our ceremony coordinator and he was so organized. SO efficient with the rehearsal, and answered all of our 100 thousand questions about the day of logistics. Linda Petsis was our event coordinator and she answered countless emails about vendors, decorations, and day-of details, and I would've lost my mind without their help! Everyone always says you need a wedding planner, or at least a day of coordinator, and these two made sure everything went smoothly the day of, and the days leading up to the wedding! Several wedding guests on both sides have told us how GORGEOUS the wedding was and how smoothly everything ran, and I 100% attribute that to Jacob and Linda. Also want to give a special shout-out to Leonard, our event captain! He was the person who made our plates for dinner and I was worried about this because how does the person know how much food I want? I spoke with him before the ceremony and explained I want more pasta than anything else and he filled AN ENTIRE PLATE with the pasta! He understood the assignment and it was my favorite part about dinner! My mom told me several times how he also made sure she always had a drink, and he made her feel just as special as the bride and groom! The food was the most delicious food I've had at a wedding, several guests commented about how incredible it was! They packed us several to-go containers at the end of the night and that was helpful to have in the few days before our honeymoon! I would give the Roswell Mill Club and Events Catering 6 stars if I could; they were super helpful and made our wedding day just PERFECT!

We weren’t prepared for how COMPLETE our experience was going to be with Four Oaks Manor! I mean: decor, service ware, choice of colors and accents, customized ceremony backdrop, signage, seating, setup and takedown, and so much more. Their coordinator McKenzie Julian took on so much more responsibility for us- at NO extra charge- that she was practically our wedding planer from day one. The staff, the chef, and the grounds were all beyond our expectations. We wanted an outdoor venue with a forest-vineyard-farmhouse vibe and somehow we found Four Oaks to accommodate it all. There was PLENTY of room for our 80 person event, the ceremony seating and dinner arrangements were comfortable and well-placed. We had unlimited ice included and had staff handling refills of self-serve canned alcohol. There were NO surprise fees and TONS of surprise upgrades. Choosing Four Oaks was the best decision we made besides “I do!”

As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.

We had our wedding at the Wimbish House in April of 2024 and it was the most spectacular day of our lives! The venue itself is so lovely and well located in the city (near plenty of activity of hotels, restaurants, and entertainment for guests within walking distance) and does not require a lot of work to make it beautiful (the ballroom and parlors are exquisite). Karin was our wedding coordinator and she made the entire process easy and stress-free. She helped us with everything and made sure nothing slipped by during the planning. The staff is all incredible and they have such great connections with other vendors (every vendor we hired said they already had such great memories of events they worked at Wimbish and I can see why!). You cannot go wrong booking this venue!

Make yourself at home in one of the 252 renovated rooms featuring refrigerators, safe deposit boxes, HD flat screen televisions and complimentary high-speed (wireless) Internet and in-room coffee / tea. We completed a multi-million dollar renovation of our Front Desk area, Lobby seating areas, Lobby Bar, bathrooms along with the brand new Tech Square Tavern. We are great location for your special day.

Our venue was originally built in 1942, and used as munitions storage during World War 2. After that, it was repurposed for different industrial uses until the 1990s, when we moved in and set up our antique shop. Thirty years later, the area has changed incredibly and we no longer work in antiques!
