Louisiana Castle It’s such a joy getting married here! The venue is of course beautiful and had many of our guests going “What? A castle?” Everyone loved the experience of being there and being able to take photos on the Castle steps. Yes, it is far from the city, but we warned our guests and they were okay to drive home. This venue was a lot cheaper than others in New Orleans and the food was good as well. We wished we could have tried the food options prior to making selections, but it ended up fine regardless. Dolly is so sweet and makes sure that your financials are on track without being overbearing. Mary was instrumental in making the day go smoothly. My side of the family has a language barrier, and even they thought she was amazing and so easy to work with. She took care of so much and used her experience to make everything run well while also allowing us to do what we wanted as the bride and groom. Our bartenders were running late due to a van breakdown, and the Castle staff got all hands on deck to unload the alcohol and make sure that cocktail hour would still happen as planned. The views here made for the most incredible photos. Even better was staying at the Castle overnight – we got to walk around after all the guests had left, and the views from the Juliette Suite the next morning were gorgeous. The cleanup staff were so considerate and had taken their shoes off so that they wouldn’t wake us up while they cleaned the ballroom! Overall – we had a dream wedding and can’t recommend Louisiana Castle enough.

We had an amazing time planning, creating, and experiencing our wedding with Kelsey at The Venue! She did everything she could to accommodate all of our ideas. Worked super hard day of to switch around for the rain plans! And she had so many recommendations for vendors in the area. We will for sure be back for parties in the future. And I couldn’t recommend her more! The Venue is gorgeous for anyone wanting a more industrial vibe/blank space to make your own!

The guests at our intimate wedding couldn't stop raving about how perfect The Mazant was for our celebration. We were able to comfortably fit 32 people in the dining room for dinner and enjoyed dancing by the pool and the ceremony in the garden. You definitely need a wedding coordinator to support you on the day of but the house really couldn't be better. They have almost everything you could possibly need including a PA system and games!

You can feel the history and romance as soon as you step foot in this venue. It’s elegant and breathtaking. Very little decor needed to make your wedding spectacular. The hotel attached is also a wonderful place to stay and get ready on your wedding day. It was so fun running into guest in the halls. It felt like living in a dorm with all the people you love. The staff and service is excellent and the style is impeccable. Molly the event coordinator was quick to reply and very helpful in having wedding objects shipped to the hotel as we were coming from out of town. It doesn’t hurt that the Elysian bar is serving up some of the best cocktails in New Orleans (meaning some of the best in the world) right across the courtyard. Everything on the wedding day ran seamlessly. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location.

I am so excited to write this review for the Royal Frenchmen Hotel and Bar Team. We live in Maryland, and while I have family who is local to NOLA, we were taking a chance on a venue we had never visited. But, even working with Chloe before our contract was signed, I felt confident that all of my questions were getting answered, and that even the questions I hadn’t thought to ask, would still be taken care of. And I was right. We worked with their team from June 2023 to our wedding weekend August 2024 and Chloe and I slowly worked through every possible detail before we arrived. We got to visit the venue in January and they were such gracious hosts to us and my family. We even got to meet more of the team, all just as warm and kind. During our visit they treated us to a bar tasting to curate our menu with their award winning bar tenders, as well as had our caterers come in to customize our menu. And the food, was of course New Orleans level taste and quality. DELICIOUS. We were huge fans of all the vendors they suggested, from the band, to the bakeries for our cake, to the amazing photographer and videographer skills you see in the photos attached. They prioritized our needs, and always listened to what we requested, while also providing expert guidance when we weren’t sure what was the best plan. Even in the middle of the thunderstorms that arrived the week leading up to our day, they ensured our plan was in tact with a tent that was so beautifully decorated I couldn’t believe it wasn’t part of the original layout. As our guests arrived to stay for the weekend, and filed in on Saturday for the wedding, we continued to receive such beautiful feedback on how attentive they were to guests before, during, and after the wedding. We plan to continue to be visitors of this awesome hotel and bar to reminisce our magical day, but I want to make sure other couples get the chance to experience the care, warmth, and amazing service provided by the Royal Frenchmen team for their special day.

My fiance and I met on Bourbon St, so we knew we needed to get married there, but we didn't want it to be a spring break style dirty booze fest. We are so lucky to have found the Royal Sonesta, a true hidden gem. Getting married in the courtyard was a dream. The fountain was such a beautiful and elegant touch. Getting to do the Second Line around the hotel (the busiest block) was the coolest thing ever. My guests LOVED IT. The amount of people who stopped and danced with us was unreal. The food was the best I've ever had at a wedding, and so may of my guests told me so. The spread was insane, from cocktail hour to the raw bar...so delicious and epic. Get the chargrilled oyster attendant, people could not stop talking about and I felt so bougie. The cake was included in our wedding package and was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to eat it again on our anniversary! Now the best for last, the Royal Sonesta staff. We planned everything with Olivia, who sadly left a couple weeks before our big day, but Monique handled everything on our wedding day and was the kindest, most attentive queen. We love her forever! The planning process was a breeze, it felt like I was planning an epic party with a good friend. Olivia made an overwhelming process so fun and enjoyable! From the moment I checked in, everyone treated us and our family like royalty. There were so many small thoughtful touches, like cookies waiting in my mother in laws room. I'll cherish that day forever and so much of the reason is because of how special the Royal Sonesta made it.

The intent was for The Alexander Room to be a contender among Metairie’s event venues. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the room was never marketed to the general public. In 2014, Troy and Cindy Timphony of Hobnobber Café were approached with the idea of taking over the catering, management and marketing of the Alexander Room. Over the course of the next few years improvements were made, menus prepared and website and social media added to bring you the polished jewel that is The Alexander Room and Terrace.

Mrs. Cindy, the Timphony family, & all of the staff here at The Alexander Room are the absolute best. Our wedding went off without a hitch, and was an absolute dream come true. From day one, Mrs. Cindy made sure to check in with our stress levels, and assure us that she would be there for anything we needed. To say we felt special, and taken care of, is such an understatement. The venue is incredible, with a spacious indoor, and a fabulous terrace overlooking the best parts of Metairie. The guests ate up the indoor/outdoor experience, and were all able to mingle very well with the layout. And the food —- off the charts. We got SO many compliments on the food! If you’re hesitating, don’t. This is the place for your special day.

I cannot begin to express how grateful we are to the Intercontiental Hotel for our wedding weekend. The staff from the get-go (parking and bell hops) were so so kind. The front desk staff and managers were so kind. Down to the event staff and the Operations Manager, Brian Parker. They were there for us for anything and everything we needed and treated us as if we were their friends. Our guests and family members even complimented us on how well they were treated by everyone at the hotel. The newly renovated ballroom here is stunning! It was everything we could have ever dreamed of! And we received so many compliments on the food. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a hotel wedding in the city. You will not regret it!!!

We had our wedding event here and everything was amazing. My wife and I would like to thank Jenna(General Manager) and Kimberly(Event Manager) for working us from day one. We loved everything about the Margaret Place. Communication was easy, the owner was quick with responses and accommodating for all of our questions and needs. The space is very modular so you can change the layout/floorplan to your exact desire. We had the ceremony followed by a second line while they flipped the space for the rehearsal. It was all so streamlined and when we got back the space had a whole different vibe. We had the dance floor in the loung, which made it a little more intimate and it looked amazing! THE BEST DECISION we have made throughout our whole wedding process is booking this venue. This place is truly outstanding! The food, the staff, and the character of this place is everything that we could have hoped for. My husband and I were hunting like crazy for the perfect venue for us and The Parlor was exactly that. I remember emailing Ruby throughout the months before our wedding day and she would respond within SECONDS. They truly want to make everything go as easy as possible for you and to make your day memorable. They were attentive to our needs and wants and we honestly felt like we were treated like royalty! THE FOOD! Our guests to this day says that the food was the best food they ever had at a wedding. WOW! The service? PHENOMENAL. Everyone had a smile on their face and they were so quick to help you. There is not a bad thing I could say about this place. My husband and I still reminisce about our day and we agree that it could not have been this good without The Parlor and it's staff. THANK YOU! Our wedding at Chateau was nothing short of phenomenal. We had our ceremony and reception here, and I wouldn’t change a single thing. We were able to take photos on the golf course before the ceremony and it was gorgeous during golden hour! We loved that our guests didn’t need to drive to a different location between the ceremony and reception. All of the staff are amazing. My husband and I were catered to all night and our drinks were never empty. The food was delicious and the drinks were great too. We loved having the tables, chairs, table cloths, other decor, food, drinks, and more all provided for us. Some venues were charging per table and chair and requiring caterers for food and drinks, so it really made everything much easier to have it all provided by the venue. Any time we had questions leading up to the wedding, the staff was so helpful. I hardly had to worry about a single thing when it came to the venue, because Chateau handled it all for us. I could go on and on about how amazing everything was, but just take my word for it: it was AMAZING. Look no further!!
